Welcome! I've never been to SH, but I've seen the pictures!

Also flew into Gatwick and saw the signs for East Grinstead. V. exciting.

Welcome Billyd! The cult will call ole timers and tell you that you have amnesty. The stuff you endured in the past is all forgotten and the "church" does not do those nasty things anymore. What you don't know - if you take the bait - is that the "church of scientology" has gotten worse. It is more carefully masked and hidden from view. They only want your money. Lurker's beware!

Why don't you get in touch with Karen and make a video? Tell the world what you experienced and help others go free! That would be the ultimate blow to the cult!

I agree. Feel comfortable - we've got front row seats to the trainwreck that is the cult of scientology. Things are going to get more interesting after the airing of "Going Clear" on HBO Sunday 29th March.

Since people keep welcoming BillyD I think it's worth pointing out that he started this thread almost a year ago.

I don't think he's been around here for quite a few months now.

He was in Ireland recently at the conference hosted by Pete Griffiths and did a talk on video wherein he described some of his background. It's in a thread somewhere on this board but I can't be arsed to look for it.

Wow! loved the quote at the end, about being falsely free.I had to comment on it. Sort of like the one that goes something like this, "no greater blind than those who
wish not to see".
