When a more credible source arises, such as someone reading freshly fallen cowpats in the meadow, then I'll give it some mind. But jaysus... The Enquirer?

For you, DB.
LEAH REMINI is trying to bury the hatchet with Katie Holmes – but only because she needs the “Batman Begins” beauty to help boost her payday for the anti-Scientology book she’s writing, say sources.

Although the women have both cut ties with the controversial church, insiders say Katie has “never really liked Leah” and has no intention of helping with the book. Without Katie’s name on the project, sources say the former “King of Queens” star won’t get the big-bucks advance she was looking for.

“Leah’s heard offers upward of $5 million to write this book, but publishers know her name alone isn’t going to make it a blockbuster,” a source said. “She’s been told she needs to get Katie to contribute by relating her feelings about Scientology and backing up at least some of Leah’s charges.”
Leah, 43, publicly split from Scientology in July over disagreements with the church’s policies and leadership. Katie, 34, ended her association with the cult-like organization after splitting from Tom Cruise – the church’s most famous member – in June 2012.

So far, Leah, who ended a 10-week run on “Dancing with the Stars” on Nov. 18, has found Katie to be an unwilling dance partner when it comes to the book. “The two of them have a history, and not always the best kind,” the source said. Leah’s sister Nicole claims that in 2006, Katie reported Leah to church leaders for causing a stir about her assigned seat at Katie and Tom’s wedding. And things apparently haven’t gotten any better since then.

“But Leah’s determined to win her over,” the source noted. “She knows she needs Katie to help her push this project over the top

Me don't believe Leah Remini will write such a book neither accept millions of dollars to tell ''dirty'' stories.

Since the beginning of her story of leaving, she had been ''a Lady'' , despite Kirsty Alley trying to make her ''loose the show''
In fact kirsty brought into reality the disconnection and fair game policy for people to see live.

She had been wise to arrange her leaving with the whole family and then moove on. She has a life, a carrer, family, many friends and doesn't seem to need money at all.

Same with Kathy Holmes, she probably signed an agreement, and will protect her child from any other upset or turmoil about $cientology. Being a mom make one sees the situation from a viewpoint of protecting their children.

I believe they both knows very interesting stories about many people - but they wont get into dirty tricks to make money or get attention. They can get it without CO$ dirty stuff!

It never occurred to me until I read some of the replies here but it makes perfect sense that it's part of the cult's fair gaming of Leah.

I've no idea whether Leah Remini is writing a book, or if so, whether she's reaching out for help to Katie Holmes.

From a book publisher's point of view, wouldn't the main selling point of such a 'tell-all' book be about the repercussions Ms. Remini and her family endured as a result of their leaving Co$? And, wouldn't those repercussions still be playing out? If so, then it's a bit premature to think a book will hit the bookshelves any time soon.
What might be happening now is that prior events are being documented -- things that happened in the distant and not-so-distant past -- for eventual inclusion in a future book, even as repercussions continue.

Just guessing, of course.

IMHO - Leah has been a class act since she left the church. Though she has the "don't mess with me" attitude of a New Yorker... she publicly shows care and respect to her friends and puts her family first. I think she will continue doing this. As an artist, I'm sure she craves attention, but she will not be found doing you know what on Hollywood Blvd. Her book will come in time, and her timing will be right. She has her family and GOOD friends backing her up.

I don't either, it's an attempt by the book companies, or the Enquirer to get them to colaborate and make it a bigger seller than than individual books by each.

I see no reason why Leah couldn't have a better selling book than Katie. A name may start the sales well but it is the content and how it is written that will sell the book, not a name. Leah's is big enough to get the ball rolling.

That it is an insiders story about Scientology that will sell the book and how well it is written. This is just media trying to get a bigger payday with their own controversy.
