When you leave Scientology it's sometimes difficult to remember just how CREEPY it is.

But that is the MO for the fail cult. Find a wrong reason for something and then enforce it as the truth.

There were just so many obvious lies and attempted manipulations to derail her sane thinking.

* Lies promoting fake tech that does not cure the flu or colds.

* Lies that the reason she has the flu is because of an SP

* Lies that her mother is the reason she has the flu

* Lies that the way to not get the flu is for the ethics officer to write a letter that Ron says to write and have her sign it and send it to her mother

* Lies that she needs to disconnect from her mother to not get the flu.

* Lies that she needs to disconnect from her mother in order to attain "total freedom" for "eternity"

* Lies that she needs a safe environment in the Sea Org where she will not be at the mercy of her SP mom.

* Lies about how they just want to help her (after she blows) so she will meet with them.

* Lies about how much they care about her and love her (after she blows).

* Lies about how good it will be for her to borrow money that she cannot afford to repay.​

All this in order to GET HER MONEY or ENSLAVE HER IN THE SEA ORG.

When I was 15 at what was the Stevens Creek mission at the time in 82, I had a S.0. member try to recruit me. She was about my age and VERY pretty. I went home convinced I was joining the S.O. but my parents wouldn't hear of it. Being non$ci they refused to even entertain the notion. No amount of persuasion on my part could change the decision. That was probably the best "no" on my parents part ever handed out to me.

Thanks Og! Just read your sig I hadn't thought of the S.O. trying to recruit me for years. Right after I watched that vid that memory surfaced for some reason. That woman in the vid is so lucky her mom was speaking up not to mention having the capacity to question what was being pushed on her. HH really nails the out points of what was going on.
I really like red beans and rice but suspect I wouldn't had I joined the S.O.
