Since I read all the truth, from first hand, via internet, this is exactely what I am thinking.
First I don't know how come Ron did not use his OT powertzzzzzzz and buddhaness to see the internet coming (internet was existing, for american defense purpose, after WW2 - he should have known about computer networking with him spying the government :confused2:
And I am sure the situation would not be the same if he knew it would come and exposs his lies to billions of people..same for Miscavige,

I presume you are not at the spring of your life for a veteran you are..but I really hope that you could make a new life, recover the ability to ressent joy, hope , love, tenderness and hapiness , with family and friends (in case it would have been temporarly altered)

I left the SO and Scn 25 years ago or so. I have a great Family, Friends and Fun, Fun, Fun. I have a wonderful life.
I was on Staff and in the SO for only around 15% of my life.

Thank you, Rog...there is much wisdom in your words.
One of the things that troubled me the most when I first left the SO was that I would never be able to change it and, without change, for the good and decent folks in the SO, on Mission & Org Staff and in the Field things were only gonna get worse. There just wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it and I cared for those people. El Ron was a goner, the CMO and the Psychos and Robots they preferred were cinching down all the control points and that was gonna be that. I joined ESMB so that I could post what I wished that I could say to all of them then; to add to the collective body of knowledge, information and context re: Scn and El Ron in particular; to permanently record information that might be helpful to Exes, future Exes, those “on the fence” and the public in general.
What I didn’t know when I came here was all that I would personally gain from Dialoguing with and reading the wonderful stuff from folks like you and all Y’all.

Face, I was in in '72 and out bu 2000. There were many pieces to the puzzle that I had seen however your posts have put the most important pieces of the puzzle in alignment for me.
In a way most will never know, you post have provided relief I never expected to have.

What Lotus said got me thinking.
If LRH really believed he was going to eventually create OT's, then he would have known that his overts and megalomania would soon be discovered. I mean, after all, how can you hide anything from someone who is at "cause over matter, energy, space and time".
So what are the possibilities here?
- He knew OT's could never be made so he didn't care. He knew it was a scam.
- He hoped to create OT's and at that point all would be forgiven. He really believed it could happen.
- When it became obvious that OT wasn't going to happen, he went completely nuts tortured by his lies.

only discovered this thread today and am amazed how long I spent actually reading it ALL and not wanting to miss anything.
There are some good writers on here, but this person has an obvious gift for writing, combined with intellect and wit.
Sort of sums up a lot on things others have previously said in such a simple way.
Yeh, I also remember how Ron was making these films back then and how he spoke about "being a professional"..bla..bla...
We were all impressed with his numerous "abilities".
How could one person be so good at just everything?
He was the ultimate 'OT' in our eyes, or we wanted him to be.
I often wondered which OT level Ron had reached if he was doing all this research on the 'upper levels'
I remember when the Volunteer Ministers Book came out and found the photos weird even back then.
How about when Diana Hubbard came to Saint Hill and performed on the piano, promoting her new album that was going to show the world how amazing $cientologists are etc.
We were told to ring the local radio stations (at our own expense of course) and keep demanding they play her record.
(does anybody else remember that?)
I heard that shortly after that she left and was not active in $cn.
Her piano playing skills were also not quite up to making an impression in the professional world of music making.
But back then we were all in awe on this woman with very pale skin and wonderfully red hair....yes, she was beautiful almost 'madonna like'.... the daughter on LRH, and you couldn't get much better than that at that time.
I remember the feeling of excitement and that sort of
"now we'll show 'em" atmosphere within $cientology.

I think you're on to something there.
One might consider that we must be OT. How else to explain that the
universe exists?
However the states LRH defined exist sporadically and are usually not repeatable. But then how could they override the postulates of everyone
else? Except perhaps sporadically.
However there are many who appear to prescient, psychic, empathic,
telepathic, abilities that do not I believe override our collective postulates, and they are not AFAIK anymore common in scns than non scns.
In a sense OTness of various sorts is part of the human condition.
One might consider LRH failed in his quest, and maybe he did consider that , and this failure thus did not justify his transgressions along the way. Committing overts can lead to a PTS like state, and this compounded by having to hide from authorities in his later years, and no longer able to be hands on in the running of his creation probably all led to a less than optimum state for him.
