Hi Face - I wanted to thank you for what you have written and to hope that Paul collects your posts and puts them on Paul's Rabbit. They deserve to be together, where they can be enjoyed in a consecutive form - or maybe collected into a NEW BOOK! Gee... What to call it... The Power of Source or maybe Walking Deeper into the Trap?

Mimsey the dreamer. Well. Anyway, I spent the last few hours reading all of the Shooting Stars posts you wrote and I really want to thank you for the time and thought that went into it. I have been in Scientology since the mid 60's and this explains some of the mysteries and ignored red flags that I have wondered about.

I wish you would write some more about 'Susie-belle" MSH, herself. Scientology has a long history of "fallen" angels, dedicated but abused people and she surely leads the pack. Thanks for you insightful words, I hope your meds do what they are supposed to and you take up the keyboard again.

I collected up what I considered to be the important posts a year or so ago, and did some editing of them. But the job isn't finished. I didn't think Face had finished writing the series. What struck me most about Face's posts was the insight it provided into Hubbard's character, which I hadn't gained from elsewhere.

I just looked at what I had a few minutes ago. My title for the whole series, which is really about Hubbard, if I ever get to finish the job, is Hisself.

Paul - that is great!! Face, or anybody else that knows, the record POS must have gotten lousy reviews, and sales must have tanked a few days after the release as the word got around and it was obvious that POS was a P.O.S. - how did Ron A) not know it tanked? B) deal with it if he did know?

And, did his other Clear Sound products feature the same Zero Boost Flat Line technology? Or did he /Gold wise up?

I'm gonna ad some more installments here over the next few months. I've written stuff here and there elsewhere on ESMB re Mary Sue and some of it is contained in the Linked posts in some of the the installments of Shooting Stars. You can do a search of my posts for "Mary Sue" & "MSH". I'll be covering some more about her here in the future, as well.

After a rocky start, my meds are workin' a little better each day so far...knock on wood.

This is a beautifully written, informative and, luckily, highly entertaining series of documents.

If it was not as entertainingly written as it is, the above extracted revelation from the "inside" would have left me enraged. As it is, I'm still pissed at the lies we were sold.

Having said that, it causes me great pause to think of the others who ought also have been aware of what you report here but who either were too dull to comprehend the actuality or who were likely so devoid personal ethics and integrity as to have simply gone along with the parade (for whatever reasons).

And I now see even more the need for a complete disassembly of the Cof$ because, not only was it set-up based on a fraudulent proposition, but that the deception has been continued by those who were aware of what you write and are corrupt enough or dull enough to continue it.

Thank you for your purity of spirit and good intentions such that you exited the con and are now revealing the truth.

Rog, oh so well said ! I read much of what Face is sharing with us and while I had a piece here, a part there, and maybe a clue over yonder..I never had the piece that allowed the puzzle to come together in a coherent way. And Face gave me that.

In my own mind I've now been able to answer some questions that the real answer was never available for.

I hate using old cult terms, but, reading what Face has written so far has provided me blowdowns I didn't think could ever come & they have !

That’s exactly why I’m writing all this stuff…to give folks like you, Rog and all Y’all some pieces to the Mosaic that I may have that might be helpful in putting together your own personal picture and puzzle…just as you, Rog and all Y’all have done for me.

I’ve had a lotta epiphanies (blowdowns) reading all Y’alls stuff here as a lurker and a member and Dialoguing. Quite frankly, I’m still fiddling here and there with pieces to finish, to my satisfaction, my own personal picture…Oh, I sure enough know the content, context, colors, contours and conformation of the picture…I’m just nagged, niggled and perhaps a tad haunted by a few subtle hues, shades, shadows, lines and strokes.

Just as you aren’t famous for your patience Toady, I’m no longer renowned for my timeliness. As I said before, I’m a slow reader and writer these days and I’m reading back through all I have Posted and previous Posts I linked to for this Thread, so that my next post will tie up some loose ends without being redundant, before I proceed.

I know that you have been reading back through this Thread and the Linked Posts, too as I have been getting the Thanks/Likes from you which didn’t exist as an option when nearly all of the Posts and Linked Posts were first posted.

It does my Heart a whole lotta good to know that Old Timers, especially, find value and added closure in my “Take”…We chewed the same dirt…We polished the same turds…We actually made Scn fun and, as best we could at the time, not all that bad. Gawd help us, if it hadn’t been for us and our foolishness these dear sweet youngin’s wouldn’t be here now having to beat the Beast to Death with a Devine Hammer…and Delicious Humor...Namaste.

Well, reading Face's post you cite again; while you are right, the old-timers doing their honest and best endeavor to do what was right based on what they at the time knew and were confronted with did do a lot of good for their fellows. And they did create something decent . . . Face is also very right.

Face is writing on the facts of what were only available to those who worked closely with Hubbard and could witness the actuality of his madness as it developed.

And it was then, when the deceit and self-serving basis of the whole endeavor by Hubbard became evident, that Face could see that, even though we had done good by and for our fellows in our early endeavors, the truth had become apparent that it was all an exercise in deceit and destined to do harm to many.

Yes, many also have benefited from what the old-timers did and from their involvement in $cn; and it is also true many are of the view they only suffered harm . . . and so that is true in their case.

Face's revelations are of tremendous importance because it reveals that the good works of the old-timers was in truth an exercise of polishing a turd and that we in fact built an organization that ended up being used destructively and in furtherance of a fraud.

I read Face's charming word usage to understand that what he is saying does not negate the good we did but that what we also did was built what the youngsters now have "to beat the Beast to Death with a Devine Hammer…and Delicious Humor" because it is in fact carrying out Hubbard's original deceitful destructive intend that we did not see.

I for one, like Toady and many others, am very grateful to Face for putting out the truth such that we could come to a resolution of what the hell really had happened.

It has been an act of both courage and integrity as well as one of great service to his fellows to have put it all out there as Face has done. For now we can fully comprehend the magnitude of the two faced monster that was Hubbard and is his creation.
