I donated a bit more than USD 20.000 for Idle Orgs, I even went to the opening of that particular org. I was even there 4 times.
I am now ashamed and ruined and looking at a long time in debt and I am not young anymore. Stupido in the extreme.
I was told my name would be put on a plaque in that org. How awful. Scn don't know I am out. Perhaps the opposite will happen - my name sits there as a reminder of how one should not do. Erasing my name with a welding flame comes to my mind.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You were taken advantage of by expert manipulators, using approaches and techniques developed over decades. Without prior inoculation, such as that currently provided by the Internet, the average person has a lot of trouble resisting.
As others here can likely attest, some of the more advanced techniques are largely cribbed from brainwashing manuals used by totalitarian regimes. Even trained military personnel can succumb to brainwashing -- what chance does a young, idealistic person have of resisting this?

Oh yeah....pushing back the target date again. And acting like it's "all new" so that nobody remembers the first target date, or the next target date when all orgs were supposed to become "ideal orgs".
Guess they finally gave up on the "10 missions around every org" that was definitely a HAVE TO DO by a certain target date to clear the planet.... Guess they weren't making enough money off the mission packages and decided real estate was a better cash grab.
