Well Spectator there have been lots of totalist groups in this world BUT many have a hard time HIDING what they do and rely on force but scientology is so insidious that people WITHOUT force are slowly rebuilt into unknowing slaves in mental bondage and many are stuck and fooled for DECADES and become broke ,disconnected from family , miserable shells of human beings and die without a clue what happened and would NEVER listen to criticism of lrh , dm that dishonorable misogynist ,or the tech.
That undying blind loyalty is the kind of shit narcissistic megalomaniac psychpaths who end up running totalitarian governments LOVE; It's not enough for these sick fucks to rule people : they need to be WORSHIPPED. Like that will somehow will elevate them, or validate them and prove them right or settle a personal grievance. Eric Hoffer explains these nutjobs in his book True Believer.

In my opinion, Scientology, as a religion or cult, will be dead within 5years. But this doesn’t mean that Scientology Corp will go away – most likely, it will transform itself into a real estate firm, a corporation that runs luxury ship, etc. The name, Scientology, will remain as a sign on a façade of a corporation that has nothing to do with the Standard Tech.

Miscavige has lived over 50 years of a life -- lots of stress, alcohol, tobacco, steroids, and other drugs. That kind of lifestyle invites an incurable disease and a painful, drawn-out demise.

I think he will be dead within five years.

And no one will succeed him in the same way he led.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for him.

Scientology is already a reality show -- good only for black humor.

I'd like to see the Church disbanded and the original LRH copyright materials that were left expired released into the public domain.
Hell release the whole bloody mess, confidential and all. It's all out there anyway.

I tried to take another look at the stuff, built myself a working meter, felt that brief thrill of how satisfying it was to release charge whether on self or another - but when I started looking at the complete bollocks of complexity that had been layered on top of what was workable I pretty much just put it aside as more work than worth doing.

Hubbard added layer on layer of bullshit and complexity. The actual simplicity of auditing really required a genius to actually see. I remembered auditing being simple and direct and the checksheets on a second look are anything but. It's amazing anyone ever got anything done at all.

Let the church die away, and the collected stuff get sorted out over time. Way less of it's valuable than you'd think.

I would like to think that after dm has left, alive or dead, all the men and women that think they should take over will be so engaged in the blood bath and feeding frenzy that the whole thing will just grind to a halt.
