I'm glad you straightened me out on that but nevertheless, my between lives time after that life was about 15 months. Being 13 in 1938 would have place the birth of the Czech boy around 1925. I remember being an older man in my early 60's living all alone in a nice little apartment in Portugal. There was a market downstairs where I shopped for food and made my meals. I was pretty bored and was lonely. I never ran the death of that life so I don't know how much time lapsed between those two lives.

So Challenge came up with the 15 month rule, very interesting. I was able to ascertain who Challenge is and it is very interesting. Her current husband and my current wife were living together in the very early 80's when I met my wife at ASHO. Late in 1980, they broke up and she hitched up with me and he hitched up with Challenge. Challenge was on course with me at ASHO. We never spolke but I knew who she was. By the way, she was quite an attractive woman.

It sounds like a recipe for lust and boredom. I can see why the threat of failure was introduced and agreed on in this Universe. If you knew you wouldn't fail, mostly greedy MEST type things come to mind. Make a killing gambling at Vegas, Scoring big with some of those semi nude sky divers in the advertising clip posted by Roger. These are the things which immediately pop into my lechorous mind.

Improving conditions on this planet, helping people shed their aberations and rise to greater heights, well sure I would take on those things but in due time. First, however, I would satisfy my needs for money and lust. I just thought of something I want more than money and lust and that would be to be able to be a world class musical composer. If I knew without fail that I could achieve that, I would tackle that one first.

My first thoughts were artistic and relationship goals, but I could see that some people would go further into MEST. But the question isn't about havingness, it's about doingness.

I suppose one could run the same question with have and be.

As an aside, I've always wondered how havingness processes translate to language that have no verb "to have" or its equivalent. There's also languages without the verb "to be" (Arabic comes to mind), and some have neither.

Translating certain books would prove problematic for those languages.

I think what happened with Germany is a macrocosm of the microcosm of individuals. Germany is an intellectual and order driven country. It collapsed and went rogue. I've done the same as an individual. Power does not mean sanity. I've had my share of German cars, because I like them. When the German economy is working properly, we all (the world's people) benefit.

Germany has had so much to offer to the world in the fields of Science, Music, Philosophy and Mechanical developments. Their machinery is always top notch. I owned an original Beetle, it was incredible. My parents bough me an Olympic typewritier back in 1956 for use in high school and I kept and used that thing until around 2001 when we moved to the house I am in know and finally threw it out. My uncle brought back some drafting and archiitectual equipment from Germany taken duriing World War II and I still have it. When you buy a household appliance and the Brand is "Braun" or "Krupp", you know it is a sound product and not a piece of junk.

I think it is a shame that the country is not bigger than it is. 82 million people is fairly big but the land area is only the size of Montana, one U.S. state. There is so much going on inside that relatively small area of land and yet riding on the train their are miles and miles of open spaces and farmland.

It was 50% larger through WWI and then they lost about 10% of their area mainly so that Poland could be reborn and have a sea coast but after WWII, they lost another 40%. SPEAKING OF THAT, THE WORLD LEADERS SHOULD HAVE CARVED THE NEW STATE OF ISRAEL OUT OF GERMAN LANDS INSTEAD OF PALESTINE. Had thery done so, the world would be a lot more stable today than it is today. Its just a thought.

COMMENT TO LEON - Its amazing that you do not have track in Germany. So far you have shown interest in Goethe and the Horst Wessel song. I had assumed you had a German connection somewhere.

I like Robert Wagner in "It Takes a Thief" and "The Pink Panther."

Interesting role in Austin Powers as well as "Number 2." How about Frau Verbissene, what she lacked in looks she made up for in loudness of voice. Verbissene is a Yiddish word for biting into something, something like to take a bite. It also means the same in German but the Jewish Mother types are always encouraging people to eat even though they are full, often using the word so it is more Yiddish slang than just plain German.
