The Little Thread Which Grew - the Apollo '73 to Everything But

I have favorite G-R-E-A-T restaurants, but what I have witnessed in 30 yrs is that if someone is having a problem back in the kitchen, it probably is going to affect your day too.

I'm really very simple. My great restaurants are Falafel's Drive In in San Jose, where I watch them making the pita pocket sandwiches, Cafe Violette in Capitola, where they scoop the best ice cream (Ollalalaberry is my favorite), and Pizza My Heart, also in Capitola, where the pizzas are made right in front of you from scratch.

If I'm going to eat ahi, I'm going to rub it in sesame seeds and sear it quickly. That's as good or better than any fine restaurant.

Ditto for sole meuniere, I can do it better than any restaurant I've ever had it. I read Craig Claiborne religiously, when I was learning how to cook.

My wife does great quiches and eggplant parmagiana, which I'm addicted to.

Frankly, I'd rather have a smoothie. I was introduced to them in Isla Vista (UC Santa Barbara community) back in the 60s. I've been making them ever since.

I love the Food Network. Guy Fieri is so cool.

The Dalai Lama Says...

Dalai Lama: "The kind of behavior that really is spiritual practice consists of refraining from falsehood and abiding by the truth, neither humiliating nor mocking others, being humble, and having a good heart and helping others."

"I have the ability to communicate to other people without any feelings whatsoever and my income increased by 360%!!" — Adolfo Quintero, current scientologist, in "My Success in Scientology"

"HARD SELL: It is necessary in writing an ad or a flier to assume that the person is going to sign up right now. You tell him that he is going to sign up right now and he is going to take it right now. That is the inference. One does not describe something, one commands something. You will find that a lot of people are in a more or less hypnotic daze in their aberrated state, and they respond to direct commands in literature and ads." — L. Ron Hubbard, 26 September 1979, "Marketing Series 12 - COPYWRITING"

"Control = Income. When you have people who cannot control people on PE and Registration posts [Scientology's sales points] your income falls or vanishes" — L. Ron Hubbard, 21 February 1961, "Choosing PE and Registration personnel"

"The only way you can control people is to lie to them." — L. Ron Hubbard, June 1952, "Off the Time Track"

Once again:

Dalai Lama: "The kind of behavior that really is spiritual practice consists of refraining from falsehood and abiding by the truth, neither humiliating nor mocking others, being humble, and having a good heart and helping others."

I lived nearly exactly the life the Dalai Lama describes above. It is spiritual practice but for me, it did not lead to enough success and enjoyment in life. I never lied, ever!!! Never humiliated of mocked others and had a good heart and helped others whenever asked and never expected any compensation.

I did all of this and also was very shy and unassuming. Leading this type of life for decades, I was able to sleep nights and was perceived as a nice guy and that is about it. Women, for the most part are not going to go for a male of this type and my female counterpart who was just like me, Carole Ferguson, was not going to attract many men although she did get Wings Hauser to have an affair with her.

A person has to have some style or panache about them, some spirit of play, which I had never heard of or knew about. Look at the Dalai Lama himself, he has "Spirit of Play" and he radiates confidence, charisma and Ethics presence. People want to be around him.

If one is to live as described in the Dalai's paragraph above, one had better add the traits I mentioned above or it is going to be one lonely ride. A life of being rejected by women, passed over for promotions, etc. which leads to one motivating about the world being aberrated and going for glitz over substance. I lived this type of life for nearly 40 years and I will agree that it is THE BASIS for a spiritual life, however in my opinion, more seasoning must be added to the mix for one to lead an enjoyable life where one's potentials are realized and where life is really fun.

Since coming to ESMB in February, 2009, while trying to still uphold the Dalai's principles, I have done a complete remake of my life. Carmelo said something late last year which resonated with me. "Why be content with playing or even being a star in the "minor leagues" of life (using the baseball term)". The minor leagues consist of lower level teams in cities such as Oshkosh, Peoria, Cedar Rapids, Keokuk, Kalamazoo, Podunk, which develop and feed stars to the major league teams. Why not play and star in the major leagues. Besides having all of the Apollo '73 thread members on my lines, I am also communicating with Bent Corydon, Ken Urquhart, Purple Haze and had dinner with TMT recently and reconnected with my old opera singing waitress friend, Joan. The thing is to still uphold the Dalai's principles but add in a little panache and style and play the Dalai Lama's game taking the private jets in the major leagues instead of being content to ride the busses to the smaller cities down in the minor leagues.

Lakey, you are just talking about differences in tone. That's all, just tone.

Or mood if you prefer ACW's take on it.

It is true though, that folks will feel some change/relief/gain/whatever from addressing the notion of GPMs; and it is equally true that some folks will get very screwed up by addressing some versions of it.

My view of it is that it is an "almost" right item . . . "GPMs," no matter whose versions or which version of them, do contain some concepts that are common to we spiritual Beings.

And addressing such concepts will give a person some insights.

The error in the notion of "GPMs" is that "this is the issue that is dominating you, controlling you, and containing you . . . and when run you'll be free!"

That is a huge error and a mis-director away from the actual truth of the scene to be handled. But then, maybe that is why so many, as Hubbard did, dive off into this "solution to 'your' case."

The actual scene to be handled if one is to "make it all the way out," is rather horrifically charged. Which is why it gets avoided like hell with diversions like "GPMs."

The bottom line that has to be addressed and resolved if one is to recover the real you and its attendant or composite truths is the following.

One needs to address the wholeness of your true presence of Being, virtues and powers and the misuse of such. That is, the violations committed by their use by you and others, both on self and on others.

And part of the address to this or these basic truths is the address to the solutions one put in place to handle those violations and misuse of power.

Fiddling with "GPMs" is rather like rearranging the furniture in a prison cell and feeling freer and better because of it.

Good answer. Thanks!

I'm going to have to look at the implications of this for a bit. It suggests a possible realignment of priorities.

Mark A. Baker

Mark,

I was prepping for a session with a client last night and came across this reference by Alan W. in his "Ascension Series 32" titled "Chart of Ascension States."

On writing about Ascension State Eight: Full Paradigm Games Matrix Completion, he wrote:

This level is the central core procedure that will handle how the unknowns in your universes, matrices, case, games, and identities were created and fixed in place.

It also dissipates completely the source of all reocurring unwanted case, bad conditions, and non-optimum identities.

I forced myself to run over 9,000 hours of Goals, Problems, Masess (G.P.M) technology before I discovered that no matter how long I processed this rundown the goals, problems, masses would always recreate themselves.

The reason for this was that I was running out the creations made by a MATRIX. The matrix was continuously making replacement items that recreated the Goals, Problems, Masses. Without handling the MATRIX I could never handle this level of my case.

The disastrous part of this was I would be free to create a huge game, which I did on numerous occasions only to have the matrix recreate the goals, problems, masses.

There is more . . . but I type too slow :D

Basically, the matrices we have created are the "mold or form" (check the full definition of Matrix) in which the later GPMs and "games" were formed and developed.

Realize Alan and I are talking about own goals problem masses here: not that other spooky implant stuff Hubbard foisted off on us.

The earlier matrices developed and were formed as a result of the efforts and counter-efforts (spiritual life-force direction/application/use), decisions and solutions involved in handling relationships and games and the wanted and unwanted experiences therein.

This applied life-force variously hung up, forming the containment force-field that is the matrix that then determines or influences the goals and counter-forces within it.

Does this boil down to ...... what was the problem and how did you solve it?

FoTi,

Not really . . . though a later, human view of it might label the unwanted, stuck conditions "problems."

What I am referring to are the catastrophically, unpleasant, unexperiencable, sensations/moods/feelings that are so anathema and horrific to a Being that the Being must desperately, urgently do something about it . . . and in being such urgent and desperate situations, the Being often came up with some stupidly wrong handlings/answers/"solutions."

"Problems" are a lighter touch later on the scenario of games that one can get pissed about :D And, in many respects, one really only has these later problem scenarios simply because one had earlier goofed in handling the unpleasant, unexperiencable, sensations/moods/feelings . . . which solution/handling left you less able to deal with the living of life you were involved in.

I agree with that...

Right Ted, mood or tone but NOT his basic teachings. Yes, I agree. Even so, I wanted to point out that if his type of life is lived at a mood of shyness and modesty, never being willing to challenge or stand up to others who belittle you, then though spiritual, your life almost certainly will not be joyous.

I got so carried away in my post that I forgot to mention the theme I put in my title block. That salesman applying Scientology sales tech who got his stats up 360% through crush reging tactics including the usage of lies would have been an excellent snip of C of S tech and its applicataion to send to the Australian Board investigating Scientology's religious exemption.

Check out the definition of high toned in English

Check this out "in a new unit of time" - "high-toned" appears around 1:40 on this oldie! :whistling:

I checked out the definition of high toned on Google. As I suspected, it has a standard English, non Scientology definition.

high-class: pretentiously elegant; "a high-toned restaurant"
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

Lively and aromatically expressive, due to a level of volatile acidity that is just short of excessive.
www.wineaccess.com/expert/tanzer/glossary.html

There are some other similar words where standard English has some meaning when most people in Scientology consider the word totally Scientologese. When I first got into Scientology and heard the term "keyed in", I likened it to the term "keyed up" in standard English. Also when I encountered "anaten", I immediately thought of it as similar to standard English's word attenuated.

keyed up
adjective nervous, strained, anxious, tense, under pressure, restless, wound up (informal), hyper (informal), apprehensive, edgy, jittery (informal), wired (slang), uptight (informal), on edge, jumpy, twitchy (informal), overwrought, strung up (informal), on tenterhooks, fidgety, antsy (informal), wrought up I wasn't able to sleep that night, I was so keyed up.

BTW - I remember extremely well the song "16 Tons" the gigantic hit song by Tennessee Ernie Ford in 1956. At the time I was in the 11th grade in high school at Hamilton High in West L.A. and I drove to school every day with a buddy of mine, Joe Landfield, who owned a 1951 Chevy. Every morning on the radio he would have the station set to the the Zeke Manners show and most days on the way to school, Zeke would spin the platter, "16 Tons".

Another very similar phenomena occurred 8 years later the year I was living in Houston, Texas working down at NASA in Clear Lake City, writing FORTRAN programs for the big main frame computers having to do with the Apollo Moon Project. That year, Roger Miller, had an enormous hit called "King of the Road" which took the nation by storm just as Ernie Ford's hit had 8 years earlier. In both songs, the words were of extreme importance and had a sort of cadence and told a story. I noticed a great similarity then between the two songs and to this day they both seem to have a similar mood.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhApYxZisBI

I did not realize the full extent of the similarities until I just now saw that both of them have the continuous finger snaps done by the singer himself. Also both these guys were really pros, great voices, great facial expressions, handsome but clean cut, each in their distinct way.

Right there is a recipe for a great best selling single. Such a concept might still sell in today's world. It worked twice in 1956 and 1964 and they say that the third time is a charm.

Lakey,
about your running a power process on yourself. I think that is great. i posted those processes to use. I'm always a little gun shy about making comments about anyone's cognitions from auditing, especially their own. I like to just leave all the good feelings unaffected by any take I may have. In short, I don't have an urge to evaluate even in a co creating way.

keep up the good work.

BTW the John McMaster video of co auditing power at the Greenberg's is about 7 or 8 hrs long. It is going to have to be edited a smidge.

No. gingerbread houses are for looks. They remain on display for about a month. However, they do sell (it is Disney after all) gingerbread shingles and assorted gingerbread products for eating.

My wife does a gingerbread house or barn every Christmas. After a month, it is hard as a rock. You wouldn't want to eat it.

Okay. I had visions of Disney turning loose several hundred kids on one of their gingerbread houses and just letting them tear it apart and chow down on it.

WOW!!

I've never heard of this. It seems like a very important document.

Many in the " Standard tech" FZ are doing this on and after clear and OT and getting greast results.

I have the materials that Val Stansfield has including a handwritten set of
"buttons" by John Mac.
