my half baked notion:

The PEAT process gave me the first real glimpse at stability that I had felt in about 35 years. It mitigates that charge built up encountering others and from having been excessively audited on negative events. PEAT does not just run the negative. It runs the full gamut of the charge.

If you’ve made it to the end here, thank you. I hope I wrote clearly and built my conclusions well.

my half baked notion:

I like to think that as there are MEST Clears, Theta Clears, Clears, and Clear OTs, there are other determined codees, self-determined codees (Kn), and pan (or omni) determined ____s.

I think that several of the codees who either got very drunk for months on end, or who lost everything and declared bankruptcy fit in category number one. Basically they are or were being pushed around by life (for lack of a better generalized terminal).

But that’s not what I’m here to talk about.

I’m here to talk about what I experienced from PEAT about ten years ago, and more importantly, some new conjectures on how and what to audit.

But I’m going to digress at least one more time before I get there.

My wife is a “Founding Scientologist.” My wife’s oldest daughter was a class Vlll when she was sixteen. Our youngest daughter was a honcho in Scientology in her previous life. Some of my best friends were the best of the best in the fifties, sixties, and seventies. One was on the original Vlll course and NOT overboarded.

I have seen them when they are on top of the world and can create parking spaces where there are none. Where the activity level just notches up when they walk in the room. Where orgs and centers are created out of thin air.

I have seen them when there is no pit lower. LaMont Johnson went homeless for awhile. In about 76, Alan had lost his centers, yet again--he was a shadow of himself. Another used up about $40 K on coke one year. Back when that was real money. John McMaster died broken, bitter, and drinking heavily. Quentin committed suicide. LRH was probably murdered by his trusted henchmen. Do I need to go on?

Alan discovered or recovered the codes. A lot of us jumped on that bandwagon. If you don’t know, think of the codes as one very large positive and one very large negative. This allowed many of us to get very big, and also, to crash with loads of force. Lucky us! For my money the codes are basic to one’s GPMs. My GPMs tended to discharge the more I looked at things.

I’ve been doing some auditing of others over the years. I’ve gotten a lady who was bedridden with systemic arthritis to the point where she was jogging a par course eighteen months later. I’ve gotten a number of people stably off the bottle. Another off Vikodin. I’ve even cleaned up a major service fac on someone near and dear to me. As auditors go, I’m pretty good. I’ve gotten blase to the point where I can audit practically anything over a phone line.

But the one thing that I couldn’t do is give someone auditing that ended up with them being stable. All of us “knew’ that was an impossibility. We knew that crashes just plain happen. There were lies and PR contrary to this, but one would have to be pretty fucking stupid to believe.

Along came PEAT.

Lyn Keller gave me one session, and magic happened. There was this enormous peaceful space. It was ME! The piece that got cleaned up was the fulcrum that kicked me into crash mode.

**************************

My speculation is:

What the PEAT process runs out is the charge between the positive and negative codes. Having done the switch from positive to negative and from negative to positive, I can tell you that there is (or was) a VERY PAINFUL hump in the middle. It made going from either extreme to the other very difficult. Oftentimes it was less painful to sit and do nothing in the middle than face crossing that charge. PEAT discharges that charge like nothing I’ve ever seen.

**************************

So what is that charge?

Again my speculation:

For the materially oriented. If you have a generator (not an alternator), you have a field that crosses another field. This creates an electrical flow.

As a metaphor this works with the codes of two individuals, and then we can extrapolate the addition of many more individuals.

The codes, on a person, plus and minus -- set up a field. Another’s codes or another’s plus and minus cut across the field.

If two positives occupy the same area, an enhanced positive array is seen. If two negatives get together, boy does it get negative. Or one positive can delete the effect of one negative or vice versa.

**********************************

So how does this work with real people?

If I am happy doing something I like

(see we have a positive and negative here, the positive and the negative , in a system help to define each other--without a negative to define the positive, all you have is a murky gray.)

And someone comes along and makes me wrong for doing what I’m doing

(this person has a value scale too, with a positive and a negative that is not the same as mine)

This creates charge... no duh.

*************************

If both parties had agreed on the basic goodness of what I was doing no charge would have been created, in fact we both would have experienced a higher positive.

**************************

So...... back to the charge.

In Dianetics and Scientology, we would have run out the “make wrong” “the invalidation” “the problem” “the secondary” “the opp term” ETC ETC ETC

and we would have gotten a shiny happy PC.

and somewhere down the road, that PC would pull in something bigger and meaner to fall into.

*************************

BECAUSE:

we only ran one side of the charge.

the charges tend to want to stay balanced.

PC gets bigger (positive)

PC pulls in bigger negative.

NO STABLE GAINS.

Suppose you are a PC who has been through the Dianetics, Scientology, EST, etc mill.

Do you feel stable?

Well, do you?

Honestly?

The PEAT process gave me the first real glimpse at stability that I had felt in about 35 years. It mitigates that charge built up encountering others and from having been excessively audited on negative events. PEAT does not just run the negative. It runs the full gamut of the charge.

If you’ve made it to the end here, thank you. I hope I wrote clearly and built my conclusions well.

First I must congratulate Carmelo for his excellent auditing skills. I heard the
wins over the phone on many occasions from my friends.

His tech in truth may be " Standard". cos it works.

he breaks rules all the time. However I'll refer back to study tapes where LRH says re photography, you get the basics and then you can break the rules. [ best I recall that, and welcome anyone who has a transcript of that section.]

I'd like a presentation of Alan's codes. When I visited him I believe that was exactly what I looked up in one of his books, and was clueless before.
Number of times over equals certainty.

Would like to know what Peat is.

On a personal level I have great stability. Apart from doing OT2 and 3
twice, I deliberately put myself in harms way. I deliberately promoted tech in the teeth of the critics for more than a decade. I deliberately decided to handle the upsets and quarrels in the FZ regardless of status of those involved.

My Karma has thus resulted in some stability.

There is a PEAT section in this book. It is worth reading online if you are interested in handling ridges built up by polarities. Also there is an Aspectics chapter and a shortened Excalibur chapter. Many occult references too. This book is less dry than the others. Its chock full of stuff.

An e-mail sent to me below. I went over the PEAT DVD that I ordered in 2009. Vladimir does an exceptional job of presenting the subject matter. Zivorad above, is very wordy and has it geared to the every day housewife instead of those who have been on the path for ages. Vladimir has done Gnostic Intensive and from his stories seems to have had many ascension experiences. He lives is Sydney Australia. He is the biggest advocate of Zivorad Slavinki's work in the southern hemisphere emigrating from the Czech Republic.

Very interesting stuff. I noticed the bit too where he talks about (in our terms) running the incident from the viewpont of others in the incident, or others in one's environment. This is something that Robert Ducharme has been doing for some time in his R3X. Great results come from that too, Also looking at the incident in the future etc. Shifting viewpoints from the one one occupies nw.

I agree there is something spectacular about 'circular processing'. It works! I do not know much about this process of looking at the incident in the future.

I think maybe we are all connected to a unified field, and by that__ emotional charge is passed around easily and resolved easily. I'm a real bear for proper ownership, but the reliability with which this running the incident from other 'perspectives' in the trauma or environment works is noteworthy.

This one is now out of season, but I received it just yesterday. I think you aviators will enjoy...
+++

Twas the night before Christmas, and out on the ramp,
Not an airplane was stirring, not even a Champ.
The aircraft were fastened to tie downs with care,
In hopes that -- come morning -- they all would be there.

The fuel trucks were nestled, all snug in their spots,
With gusts from two-forty at 39 knots.
I slumped at the fuel desk, now finally caught up,
And settled down comfortably, resting my butt.

When the radio lit up with noise and with chatter,
I turned up the scanner to see what was the matter.
A voice clearly heard over static and snow,
Called for clearance to land at the airport below.

He barked his transmission so lively and quick,
I'd have sworn that the call sign he used was "St. Nick."
I ran to the panel to turn up the lights,
The better to welcome this magical flight.

He called his position, no room for denial,
"St. Nicholas One, turnin' left onto final."
And what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Rutan-built sleigh, with eight Rotax Reindeer!

With vectors to final, down the glideslope he came,
As he passed all fixes, he called them by name:
"Now Ringo! Now Tolga! Now Trini and Bacun!
On Comet! On Cupid!" What pills was he takin'?

While controllers were sittin', and scratchin' their heads,
They phoned to my office, and I heard it with dread,
The message they left was both urgent and dour:
"When Santa pulls in, have him please call the tower."

He landed like silk, with the sled runners sparking,
Then I heard, "Left at Charlie," and "Taxi to parking."
He slowed to a taxi, turned off of three-oh,
And stopped on the ramp with a "Ho, ho-ho-ho..."

He stepped out of the sleigh, but before he could talk,
I ran out to meet him with my best set of chocks.
His red helmet and goggles were covered with frost,
And his beard was all blackened from Reindeer exhaust.

His breath smelled like peppermint, gone slightly stale,
And he puffed on a pipe, but he didn't inhale.
His cheeks were all rosy and jiggled like jelly,
His boots were as black as a cropduster's belly.

He was chubby and plump, in his suit of bright red,
And he asked me to "fill it, with hundred low-lead."
He came dashing in from the snow-covered pump,
I knew he was anxious for drainin' the sump.

I spoke not a word, but went straight to my work,
And I filled up the sleigh, but I spilled like a jerk.
He came out of the restroom, and sighed in relief,
Then he picked up a phone for a Flight Service brief.

And I thought as he silently scribed in his log,
These reindeer could land in an eighth-mile fog.
He completed his pre-flight, from the front to the rear,
Then he put on his headset, and I heard him yell, "Clear!"

And laying a finger on his push-to-talk,
He called up the tower for clearance and squawk.
"Take taxiway Charlie, the southbound direction,
Turn right three-two-zero at pilot's discretion"

He sped down the runway, the best of the best,
"Your traffic's a Grumman, inbound from the west."
Then I heard him proclaim, as he climbed through the night,
"Merry Christmas to all! I have traffic in sight."

Yes, it honors your actual omni-presence, and causes you to expand/re-connect to that level of perception/experience of the event.

It often happens that "incidents" being processed don't unlock the encysted spiritual Life-Force until a Being holographically experiences the happenings of the incident from all the positions the Beings was connected to.

There's more to this, but time is against me at the moment. :p

Hubbard touched on this kind of thing, and much more. Running incidents from the viewpoints of different terminals present at the time was an old Dianetic technique. I have no idea how long that technique was in vogue. For all I know it could have been just an idea that popped out of his gourd only to fade away by the end of the lecture. Had he slowed down for just a few moments to evaluate what had just shot out of his mouth or off his pen, he might have discovered some real value in the early stuff. I say that because others have found that value prompted by Hubbard's origination or having found it on their own.

I'll hazard a guess as to why he did not do that:

1. Frantically bringing new stuff to market to see what would bite with the public dollar.

2. Looking for a solution to his own case.

3. Seeking recognition from doctors, government, and such, then moving on when no recognition forthcoming.

4. ?

Making Clears and OTs was Hubbard's stated goal--true or not, it was stated. Had the focus been always on helping another being with own goals, purposes, dreams, aspirations, etc., tech and the evaluation of what is really important or not might have taken many different turns over the years.

Individuality exclusive of other viewpoints is a lie. We are each individual and we are not individual. Most pc's run their stuff from the individual POV unless prompted to do otherwise.

Riverside Country, the New Zealand of So. Cal??

Hey! This looks just like the river that runs through my town...as well as the surrounding hills, I kid you not! We have a little bit of New Zealand right here in California! :happydance:

Enjoying seeing everyone's pictures!

Sweetness, are you kidding me? Aren't you in the Riverside-Corona area? I just drive through on occasion on the 91 Freeway and Interstate 15 and while it is hilly and there are some mountains off in the distance, I have never seen anything in the class of that beautiful scene in New Zealand.

I will conceed that downtown Riverside is a hidden treasure. Few people know about it but it is a downtown (for a city of 284,000) with extremely beautiful architecture and lots of historic buildings, crowned by the MISSION INN! The Mission Inn is a world class building and tourist attraction!!

http://www.missioninn.com/
A slide show of the Mission Inn's Architecture

I have never seen the river in Riverside. How do you get to it? Is there usually water in it? If it looks anything like that shot of New Zealand, I would like to go there and do some hiking.

Processing the Positive

Am reading a book, presently half way through with, The boy who came back from heaven.

It is the story of a father and his boy who were a horrific auto crash leaving the boy functionally decapitated, his skull being separated from his spine held on only by skin and ligaments.

In chapter six the boy is showing signs of recovery out of his coma much to the doctors' surprise, but not to those who have held him in their prayers. His therapist, mother, and father are working on his speech skills, of which there isn't much to work with, and they are establishing a simple language so the kid can communicate.

We all needed perseverance. In the middle of this effort Beth [the mother] came up with a brilliant idea that I [the father], the psychotherapist of the household, could only admire. She proclaimed a rule against Alex's [the boy] trying to communicate about anything he couldn't do. We would follow along and try to figure out what he was saying, but if we determined he was talking about an inability, we stopped and asked him to name three abilities. It was a page straight from my father's philosophy, ["My father" is a renowned surgeon.] and it set the tone for the kind of positive emotional attitude that Alex already had but vitally needed to maintain.

This would be scientology processing at its very best. Such processing restores communication, processes the positive, and places the being at greater causation and responsibility.

Ted, great guesses on Hubbard's motivations!

Speculating on what might have been had Hubbard's stated goals been his true goals and had he stuck to them, I sense that Scientology could have become mainstream and made a major positive impact on Earth as a unified group or Church.

With all his faults, Hubbard was a potentially strong and charasmatic leader and he attracted a large group of very brilliant and very dedicated followers who were willing to go to any ends to further his goals.

Even now, as you mention, other researchers are pushing forward on ideas originally put out by Hubbard and some of these efforts are yielding extremely good results. A coordinated push by a unified group would have been more powerful than what various individual researchers are doing on their own today.

Your comments on individuality exclusive of viewpoints is very stimulating. I like the quote, "We are each individual and we are not individual" Isn't it something like snowflakes? Also there are things such as fingerprints, DNA and any number of things to do with our bodies. In each person they are quite similar, basically the same and yet each person is unique.

To admit that we are not individual is very deflating to the ego. When you look through history, you sense that some people who became famous and successful just happened to take advantage of particular circumstances which existed in their times and then ran with the ball and became a great success. Had they been born to different parents or in a different place or time, their lives would likely have been quite humdrum.

Then there are other people who appear as if they would have made it to the top regarless of when or where they were born. Isaac Newton is one such person, perhaps Ben Franklin another.

Take a great composer such as Beethoven for example. Had he been born anywhere in the Western world, he likely would have risen to be a great composer. However, had he been born in the Arab world or in the Orient, he likely never would have written a note of music. Ditto if he had been born in an earlier period, say 1000 AD or earlier.

This subject of individuality is really food for thought.

Those types of pudgy fingers are terrible when it comes to Text Messaging on your cell phone. I know from experience! About half the letters come out incorrectly. It is very frustrating. The Pod type phones seems to be better, their bigger keys really help.
