Nice post!

I really like this thread, but I'm afraid I have a very busy day starting. I'm on strike re: Christmas, but I am working on a text for a new business venture that may be coming my way - bringing SCN tech into the business world on a broad basis. I met a real "mover and shaker" who has cognited on both the potential of this tech, and my capabilities of making it work for untrained people.

I will see this guy tomorrow, and my text is only half done. So, I'll come back to this discussion, but cannot say when!

Is there any place for a smart guy like me in this writing venture you are investigating? Besides being smart I try to be totally honest and ethical and as you know I have excellent writing skills. I am coming to a place in life where I need to make a career change and want to close down my home remodeling business. I'm just asking, you know, people with my qualifications and experience do not grow on trees.

I hope you are able to come back on this thread tomorrow because in the morning, I am going to post the next chapter of my new story of how CC got started. I am putting everything I have into this story, right now it is the "raison de etre" for my existence. I have taken unto myself the hat of seeing to it that Yvonne and the secrete Class VIII auditor get the recognition they deserve and that their names live in perpetuity somewhere in the public record. Secrete Class VIII auditor is not just living but seems to be in her prime, living life to its fullest, just like always. She doesn't need the recognition as much as Yvonne does but both deserve it and they will receive it if I have anything to say about it and I do, or did or have already done so, so they will.

Just to quickly clarify, in doing the metaphysical work on the seemingly dense obstacles you encounter, as you go over, under, around or through them, or just face up to them with the expectancy of passing through them, they dissolve or vanish. There is no mass there, in actuality, unless you put it there. That was the point of my Dad's lesson. You learn from experience that they actually have no mass to stop you, unless you give it to them. Even when as they first appear to you, they seem to be quite dense, heavy, big , scary, hard to handle, etc.

I think I could say you as-is them and they cease to be obstacles, so it's only the apparency of mass being in your way, an illusion that seems real and heavy, that you sense and react to by stopping, or slowing your progress, because you perceive or believe that it has real mass. No actual mass exists to stop your forward progress in whatever direction you choose, when you can see through it. It doesn't matter who's mocking up or postulating the mass, you or others. I think Roger or Dart could put this in Scientologese better than I can. I hope this makes sense.

I see your point!

If these texts were all honest and not the result of a campaign aimed at ripping people off for conditions that could be handled, I would agree with you... but there is a huge industry living from keeping people sick, and they do everything to discredit workable approaches that would run them out of business. Chelation therapy is not the only one.

I know doctors and nurses who have no such desire. They want to heal people, and I think your attitude is insulting to those who, like my physician, go into the field to help people. And they do help people every single day.

Ultimately, though, doctors rely on scientific evidence, which relies on studies.

Now, I will grant you that, particularly in the US, our drug application process and the ways studies are funded doesn't help for alternative medicine, but it's not impossible to get alternative medicine studies funded. It's just more difficult. Sometimes, like the problem with acupuncture studies, it's a matter of how to get a properly formulated study so that it's fair and balanced.

That said, chelation has been studied. I'm sure it'll be studied more.

Yes, Yvonne was a class act.

In fact, she was the power behind Melbourne and the Scn lift off in Oz in the 1950's.

She and husband Peter (Gillham, then) started a Scn practice in their home . . . and the Scn community grew so well Melbourne Org came into being.

Peter was an accountant, and a very different kind of person to Yvonne.

Yvonne was simply an enormously loving, warm and empowering person. She empowered everything she touched. While I was never processed in session by her, I well remember being in her company and experiencing what a wonderfully uplifting experience it always was. She was the epitome of what was mentioned earlier on this thread in the context that the quality of the true spiritual presence of an auditor is a key to the extent of the gains for the PC.

Yvonne exemplified this.

One of the other things I'll always remember about Yvonne is the way one could actually perceive her visions of the future . . . she would envision what was to be, and it would be palpable to you . . . . and, of course, because of the enormity of her loving harmony with all, you simply went along with the wishing it to be as well.

Great Beings like this are rare, and are to be remembered and savored as examples of an ideal we can all aspire to.

Gloria, Thank you for posting here. The way this thread has been going lately, with a lot of new people and big name people jumping on board, sometimes I almost forget that I initially started the thread to tell my story from within Scientology, both in the Sea Org and at CCLA.

When Heidrun yesterday and then you today both mentioned you were reading and liked my story, I was extremely pleased to see that it was still being read and more important, being enjoyed. I put my heart and soul into those stories and am very glad you are enjoying them.

PS - just a note to Sweetness & Light, I mispelled the German word Entwickeln, the l comes before the n at the end. I had them reversed.

Thanks for posting this, Roger. You added some new data about Yvonne that only an old time Aussie could know and you gave an incredible verbal portrait of the spirit of Yvonne. Your last sentence about Great beings is exactly why I took it upon myself to correct the omissions and false assertion in the CC 35 year magazine. If an organization not only does not savor its Great Beings of the past but then in addition writes them out of their history and someone else takes credit for their deeds, that is a flawed organization. They can atone for their omission and alteration in the forthcoming 40th anniversary edition which should be out next year, 2010. The true record is now available to them to see how one of the most powerful arms of their organization came into being and who was responsible. The main contributors to this effort besides yours truly were CarmeloOrchard, Janice Grady, Crackerjack Mysterious Class VIII, Dart Smohen and now Roger B. I am going to be watching for the 40th anniversary Magazine and seeing if any of the true story got iinto the Mag. If it did I will acknowledge Church Management for publishing the truth for the benefit of all of its public and staff.

Every organization should be aware of its true roots. Omitted or altered roots, right at the beginning must of necessity cause a deviance or deflection to occur in that Organization right from the start. It would be similar to a rocket being fired with something wrong with one of its motors. The rocket will deflect from its intended path and eventually go off course. To get back on its proper course, the defective rocket would need to be corrected as the first order of business.

These are the wizards that bought the nonsense that "a high fat diet is bad for the heart" and sold it to us along with telling us that margarine was "safer" than butter . . . . . God! How wrong can an "authority" be! Some "authority." All they bought was a bum opinion and the marketing spiel of the synthetic food industry!

Note the reference cited states "no evidence" of the effectiveness of chelation therapy . . . not that it has been shown not to work. The "no evidence of effectiveness" line is a standard line used which superficial folks buy as being to mean "does not work."

Not so. I know of at least 3 doctors just in NYC extensively using chelation therapy very effectively and successfully.

Of course, by the time a person has built up 90% occlusion of key arteries, the fact is, they have for a very long time been "doing things wrong" and building up a systemic wider array of degenerative disease conditions.

Typically, these folks, along with the vast majority of modern society have been for a very long time deficient in the essential fatty acids and their symbiotic nutrients.

I am lucky, as a result of my earlier athletic endeavors in my teens, I got onto a "wholefood" "nutrient concentrate" diet long ago and maintained it all my life.

I am in my mid-seventies, and my docs are amazed at my excellent physical condition. There is not a speck of plaque or calcification build up anywhere in my arteries, nor any aneurysm or varicose vein condition anywhere in my body. My blood pressure is down where it was when in my teens and twenties.

Lackey, it's not too late to reverse the conditions that exist. Research the use of EPA and GLA. Read Dr. Barry Sears books on the Zone Diet.

At your age you need EPA and GLA because once we get on is years the body's production of a key enzyme (delta-6-desaturase) that converts the oils naturally found in whole foods into EPA and GLA has markedly declined. At age 60, the level of production of D-6-D is reduced to 30% of what it was when in our prime. So, you take EPA and GLA to bypass the "enzyme blockade."

The Am. Heart Soc. should do some real research and make known proven science instead of spouting somebody else's party line and specializing in efforts to "protect" the public from what has yet not been fully researched.

Before they do that, I'd like to have them stop endorsing snacks as "heart healthy" and doing more damage to people who may not even have heart problems yet. (Some of which do lead to fatty acid problems such as Omega 3 and Omega 6 balance.)

Yes Rog, the AMA is not really a reliable source for dietary information. in my opinion the FDA is even worse, do you concur?. Some of their moves are to incessantly attack Health Food Stores and the Health Food industry while allowing toxic foods to remain on the shelf. They banned L-Trytophane which I found useful for treating insomnia and they have had sacharine removed banned, though it is not good for you, it is no worse and maybe slightly better than other artificial sweeteners which are still allowed.

My Grandma and my Mom were both into health foods and my Grandma lived just one month short of her 106th birthday, 1883 to 1989. I was raised with health foods and always eat fresh vegetables and whole grains, never enriched foods. I don't even eat desserts that much, they are usually too sweet for my taste. My problems originated with stress from my work, leading to overeating and packing on too much excess weight. My job was extremely stressful, almost unimaginably so, and years and years of stress caused high blood pressure which weekened my genetically strong arteries.

In appearance, I still look extremely healthy, a full head of white thick hair, very good muscle tone and a young face of a person 12 to 15 years younger than I am, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link and arteries becoming blocked is my weakest link. I go to a Scientology oriented doctor. I did chelation therapy and EECP where you are hooked up to a heart type machine and cuffs are place on your thighs and forearms. The machine is rigged so that after your hear beats, systollic cycle, then on the diastolic cycle wen the arteries squeeze and pump the blood back up towards the heart, the cuffs quickly fill with air and contribute a very powerful squeeze to give a huge boost in pumping the blood back up towards the heart. I had 30 of these treatments. They are supposed to cause a whole new network of capilaries and vessels which lead the blood back to the heart muscle, in case the regular arteries are not up to doing their job, i.e. the simile is that they created dozens and dozens of mini by passes instead of operating and doing large by pass surgery.

Thanks for the food tips, especially those about the fatty acids. I was on Barry Sears Zone diet perhpas 8 or 10 years ago, it worked for me but the preparation required to purchase and prepare the food was just to much for me to stay with. At the time, I was under sever duress from my work.

Prior to Chapter One Yvonne was sent to Edinburgh to set up the Advanced Org there. Dart was to be Chief Officer and Mysterious Class 8 auditor, a good friend of Dart's was to be Crew. Yvonne got called back to Flag to prepare the CC Program, Mysterious Class 8 was drafted to go to Los Angeles. Bill Robertson came in as CO to take over for Yvonne and worked with Dart. After the ban in England on old Scientologists coming back into the UK, Bill and the Americans were sent to Los Angeles to set up the AO there. Mysterious Class 8 phoned Dart from the London Airport that she was enroute from Lisbon via London to Los Angeles.

Once Bill had gone, Wally Burges was appointed Commanding Officer. He had previously been CO OTL at St. Hill. Late that year Phyllis Stevens was appointed CO. She was there until 1970 when AO moved to St. Hill and Phyllis became CO UK and Dart was Senior C/S for AOSH UK

Supplied through the courtesy of Janice Grady, Yvonne's daughter. She said that initially Yvonne was ordered to Open up her office next door to AOLA as a CC Booking Office. Apparently, the catch phrase often heard that Yvonne started CC from a file drawer when she was runing AOLA, originated then. Before she completed her tenure at AOLA she received the order to wind up her post at AOLA and open the CC booking office next door. While she was in the process of turning over her hats at AOLA, she jump started the CC booking office by using part of an AOLA filiing cabinet as her first filing cabinet for CC (that is just my conjecture from Janice's new data.) It appears that Yvonne multitasked by simultaneously winding up her posts at AOLA and starting the CC simultaneously.

A RELATED LAKEY INCIDENT WHEN THE BAN ON AMERICAN SCIENTOLOGISTS ENTERING THE UK TO STUDY SCIENTOLOGY FIRST BEGAN IN 1967. In 1967, when I was 27, I had an intense desire to go to Europe while I was working in aerospace at IBM. THIS IS 3 YEARS BEFORE I EVER HEARD OF SCIENTOLOGY. IBM allowed me two months off to make my trip. I arrived in Paris with my brother. We had a fight in Paris and decided to split up. I went on then to Germany and Austria by myself and then on to Netherlands. From there, I went by myself by ship to England, leaving from the "Hook of Holland", a Dutch port, across the English Channel to Harwhich in England and then by train from Harwhich to London. It was in Harwhich when I first disembarked from the ship and had to go through British Customs that a small team of perhaps 3 British customs agents pulled me out of the line I was in and took me into a small private room. They were polite but insistent and wanted to know what I was going to be doing in England. I told them I was going to stay for only a week and that I was just on tour. They asked if I knew anyone in England and I answered that I knew not one person in the entire country. They did not like that at all and that aroused suspicions in them. They asked if I had any money on me and I told them I had about $700 and they made me show it to them. Don't forget that $700 in 1967 money was between $3,500 to $4,000 in today's money. I also produced some kind of IBM employee card that proved that I was employed by IBM. The money and the card saved my bacon as far as not being turned away from entering. Without those two things, I would not have been allowed entry into the country. They would not tell me what was going on and were always very cordial but the bottom line was that no single guy who did not know any one in the country was going to be allowed to enter England unless they had money on them and some form of proof that they had a job back in the USA that they had to return to. I FOUND OUT ABOUT 3 YEARS LATER THAT BRITAIN HAD INSTITUTED A BAN ON AMERICANS COMING INTO ENGLAND TO STUDY SCIENTOLOGY. Just by coincidence, your humble correspondent, Lakey, actually lived through a piece of Scientology history three years before he became a Scientologist. Of course, the other conclusion which can be drawn from this experience is a further realization of why an Advance Org in Los Angeles (AOLA) had to be quickly opened up in the late 1960's. HAD AOLA NOT BEEN OPENED, NO ONE IN THE USA WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THEIR OT LEVELS BECAUSE OF THE ENGLISH BAN ON STUDENTS ENTERING BRITAIN SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF STUDYING SCIENTOLOGY.. There is also a connection between the British ban on students entering England to study Scientology and the eventual founding of Celebrity Centre by Yvonne. The only reason why Yvonne was in the USA at that time was as a response by LRH to set up an Advanced Org in the United States when US citizens became banned to enter England to study Scientology. This may also be the reason ASHO, the American St. Hill Organization was started. I have not researched how ASHO got started but it seems like the British ban must have also played a big part in that as well. One can see that LRH turned the British ban against him into something that led to major expansion in his world wide network. Most of it was planned, even the starting of the CC Booking Office in L.A.



CHAPTER ONE
In late 1968 and on into 1969, Yvonne Jentzsch was the Commanding Officer of the new advanced Org in Los Angeles. She had been sent to Los Angeles as part of a mission from Flag, then onboard the Apollo, to establish the new Advanced Org for North America in L.A. Prior to leaving for Los Angeles, an innocent event took place on the Apollo, an event that would forever change the history of Scientology. Yvonne attended a briefing by LRH given to senior Apollo management about Scientology's need to have a Celebrity Centre, a place for Opinion Leaders to congregate and receive Scientology Services, benefit from them and spread the word to the vast numbers of the publics who looked to their opinion leaders for guidance on how to live and enrich their lives. LRH described in general terms what such a Celebrity Centre should consist of and who would be elegible to join. Though general in overall nature, LRH probably got a little specific on a few points. We can only guess that the LRH talk struck some kind of nerve in Yvonne's psyche, rattled some basic purpose deep within her or rekindled some long held goal of hers. The LRH talk to Executives ended and for awhile, it produced no effects....but only for awhile. Yvonne left on her mission to be the Commanding Officer of the Advanced Org in L.A. My research department has uncovered an interesting fact that Yvonne put early AOLA staff on 24hour/ day service. I was told by a guy on the Excalibur training ship in 1971 who was CC staff and had formerly been AOLA staff that the early AOLA was generating an income of $100,000 per week. When you think that the 1969 dollar was worth $5 in today's money, that is a hefty Gross Income (GI) for an Org of that time but the story, though hearsay, is likely true because L.A.was the only place in the Western Hemisphere where advanced Scientology Services could be attained. Prior to its opening, the only place delivering the services was Saint Hill.

Sometime in 1969, Hanna Eltringham came to Los Angeles to relieve Yvonne of her very successful mission and Hanna took over Yvonne's duties. We know that while C.O. of AOLA, Yvonne had set up a filing cabinet having to do with the start up of Celebrity Centre. What was in the filing cabinet, I do not know yet but when my story is released today, I believe that point will be cleared up in full by someone out there who knows. What I have heard is that the file cabinet contained contact information for Celebrities and some information about celebrity bookings.

When Yvonne was no longer C.O. of AOLA, she occupied an office right next door to the AO and her files were moved to that office. Yvonne worked in that office for nearly a year from early 1969 to early 1970. This is when she must have been contacting celebrites and people such as agents who knew Celebrities. It is awe inspiring to realize that this one woman, working alone on some basic purpose to help LRH and on a personal goal of hers to run an Org of celebrities and opinion leaders, in that one year of unaccounted for time, set into motion the wheels of progress that were to lead to Celebrity Centre International of today. The life of every celebrity currently affiliated with Celebrity Centre Int would be vastly different today than it is if it were not for this one woman, with her powerful intention, working away by herself in a small obscure office, unsupervised, making calls, setting up meetings with agents, etc. and doing whatever she had to do to get her Centre which she considered LRH's Centre up and going. There was no policy on what or how to do this but she knew what to do and nothing would stop her once she started to pursue her goal.

THIS IS WHAT GREATNESS IS ALL ABOUT. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A BIG BEING IN ACTION AND WHAT CAN BE ACHIEVED BY ONE PERSON.

CHAPTER 2 - HELP ARRIVES IN THE FORM OF ANOTHER BIG BEING
Yvonne's plan was to first expose celebrities to auditing and then after achieving their wins, they would use their opinion leader status to encourage their publics to join Scientology. Therefore, Yvonne needed an auditor! A Class VIII, kha khan, Crackerjack auditor appeared on the scene by chance who was the best person on the planet to help Yvonne succeed. Since my opening story is patterned after the Lone Ranger radio and TV show, and Yvonne represents the Lone Ranger, let me refer to the mystery Crackerjack class VIII auditor as Tonto only so that I can write one short word to represent this auditor instead of using mystery, cracerjack Class VIII all the time.

Tonto had recently left Flag to pursue some personal matters and arrived in L.A. and just stopped in at AOLA to check in with Hanna, to say hello and see what was going on. Tonto knew both Hanna and Yvonne from the Apollo. It was Hanna who asked Tonto to say hello to Yvonne in her office right next door. This off chance request of Hanna's turned out to be key in the opening of Celebrity Centre.

In her trademark sweet manner (who could refuse Yvonne) Yvonne asked Tonto to shelve her personal plans for only six months and stay to help Yvonne get Celebrity Centre going. Tonto graciously agreed and initially Tonto did all the auditing plus the CSing, getting paid directly by the Celebrity clients.

THE BUILDING - Frank Dunn found the wooden framed building for the Centre at 1809 W. 8th St. in Central Los Angeles and the Landlords were Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Freistadt. Frank made all the arrangements but Yvonne had to go in and sign the papers and got many more concessions from the Freistadts with her incomparable charm. Nobody would know the name Freistadt if it weren't for me working in CC treasury. I had to write the rent check to them every month, it was for $800, a steal at twice the price. Twice I had to drive out and pay the couple in person and both times they reminisced about their experiences dealing with Yvonne. I dutifully took notes knowing that 38 years later, I would be writing the story of CCLA (just kidding of course). I speak a lot of German and I liked the name Friestadt which means Free City. Actually they appeared to be Jewish and not German but many Jewish people have German derived names. Once the building was acquired, Yvonne and Tonto opened for business. This occured in early 1970, I do not know the exact date.

SOME COMMENTS ABOUT TONTO I knew Tonto only slightly in those early years I was on staff, just on a saying "Hi!" when passing in the hall basis. This person was so fantastic in the ability to handle Celebrities it was unbelievable. No matter how big the Celebrity was, Tonto could always relate to them. In most of the Celebrities' eyes, as PCs, Tonto was the real Celebrity and not them. Possibly no other auditor on Earth could have handled celebrities the way Tonto did. Its as if Tonto was born to audit Celebrities, the hat fit like a glove. Tonto deserves status as Co-Founder of CC!! Tonto was there with Yvonne from Day 1 and at first all CC did was audit real celebrities so Tonto handled all Tech, scheduling and delivery functions. As with many great people in history, they usually had a person of comparable magnitude to them working with them to help them generate their power. Yvonne and Tonto formed such a team.


For a while it was just Yvonne and Tonto. The first addition had to be a C/S for Tonto and shortly after opening, Ellen Jones, Class VIII became the C/S. For awhile there was just the three of them auditing and C/S ing Celebrities but new staff began to be added. Within 6 months there were at least 50 on staff. My first experience going there was at about that time, around August of 1970. I was then a newbie, only two months into Scientology and on lines doing the Dianetics Course at L.A. Org. I went there to hear a Mario Feninger concert because I am a lover of classical music. I remember a staff member named Dick Hubbard. We arrived early before the concert and told Dick, no relation to LRH, that we would be back in an hour. Though tickets were free, he gave us our tickets because he said seating was limited and we would need the tickets to get in when we came back. We came back and saw the concert. Of course Mario was great. He wore a black cape and as was typical of all his concerts, he opened with 2 pieces by the Father and son Composers of the Baroque era, Allesandro and Domenico Scarlatti, there was intermission and my first experience in the CCLA snack bar and then Chopin for the second half of the program. I believe there was an encore which was a piece by Mario's Mother, Teresa de Rogatis. As always Mario was spectacular and the concert very memorable.

CHAPTER 3 TONTO'S CONTRACT IS EXTENDED
Six months had passed and there were more auditors and C/Ses on staff and Tonto wanted to move on and resume the personal projects which had been shelved as per the original agreements with Yvonne. As was typical with Yvonne, she begged Tonto to stay longer. Tune in again tomorrow for the next episode to see what happened next.

December 24, the day before Christmas and time to put something into everyone's stocking so here is the next segment of the Start Up of CC Story.

CHAPTER 4 MORE ABOUT THE EARLIEST DAYS AT CCLA, Initially, the Org consisted only of Yvonne and Tonto and the staff was formed around Tonto, for example, Ellen Jones was the third staff member and was Tonto's C/S, This practice of building up the staff around Tonto continued. Originally, Tonto was paid the entire auditing fee of $25 per hour (about $125 in today's money) directly by the celebrities. After a few months, CC began collecting the money and Tonto was paid a pay check from CC. Sea Org base pay at the time was $10 per week. After 6 months the number of staff was up to around 50 and there were other auditors and C/Ses on staff and Tonto's pay was down to $5 per hour. As covered earlier, she wanted to leave and was talked into staying by Yvonne. Eventually in mid 1971 or possibly 1972 the Org moved up to a mansion in the hills near the Griffith Park Observatory. At that point the Org was about 2 years old and had plenty of Celebrity auditors and C/Ses and Tonto's pay was down to $5 per hour and she decided it was time to leave. Yvonne put up a fight but could not prevent Tonto from leaving and Tonto went off into the sunset her mission at CC completed in her usual Kha Khan fashion. .

Tonto and Yvonne connected again in the beginning of 1976 for for one last period together Tonto got to see Yvonne almost everyday for a short period someimes sharing lunch up in Yvonne's office. The two shared a nice comm line as equals. You see, it was Yvonne's daughters, Janice and Terr iwho brought Yvonne to Tonto's cabin when Tonto was setting up getting ready to leave on a mission to set up the AO in Edinburgh. Tonto had been crew tutor to all the children without any troubles for the entire month, with Mary Sue as the Captain but that is another story. At this point Tonto exits the CC story permanently and Yvonne carries on without her co Founder.
Fortunately, for you my reader, I was on the scene as public when these events occurred and Tonto left, so there are no gaps in the story.

CHAPTER 5 - THE OLD MANSION IN THE HILLS
Scientology Int Management and City Building Codes and Regulations mix like oil and water. Scientology Int managment, at least at that time read only LRH. Nothing else was deemed worth reading and was labled as False Data. Tell that to the officials who wrote the Los Angeles City Building and Zoning Codes. They couldn't tell a Secondary from a Second Mortgage, a GPM from an IBM, or an auditing assessment from the tax assessment. An E meter was something affixed to one's house to register the amount of electricity being used. In fact if someone told them an auditor was going into session, they would think that a bookkeeper was going to examine the accounting ledgers of the catering done at session during City Council Meetings.

The mansion was a grand old estate home in an area of luxurty estates in the hills just south of Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
To get there from the Celebrity Center, one would have to take Vermont Blvd. north about 3 miles to Los Feliz Blvd., drive a good mile or more East and then turn left at Hillhurst Ave.and head up into the hills. If one went straight up he would pass the Greek Theaterin about 1 mile and then another mile would find him at the L.A. observatory. To get to the Org mansion, one would have to turn left about half way to the Greek theater and then wind around the streets for 4 or 5 blocks and wind up at the mansion. The mansion was situated on about 1 1/2 acres of land. The problem was that this land was zoned R1 which meant that it was for single family residences. LRH did not write that in policy so no one knew or suspected that such a thing existed. The mansion consisted of a large house, perhaps 4,500 square feet plus a basement and an attic built probably in the late 1920's. Scientologists have a habit of quickly gobbling up every square inch of usable space and shortly the attic and basement were claimed as berthing by various staff members. This brought the square footage up to about 6,000 plus there was a garage and some other out buildings. Total usable space was perhaps 7,000 usable square feet. Into this footage were shoe horned berthing for about 65 staff, several course rooms, a galley and archives for all the pc folders plus the HGC with its large waiting room and lots individual auditingrooms. There was a an entry room or parlor when you first walked in a a large living room where I believe a piano was placed. There was a formal dining room as well These 3 front rooms were furnished nicely and kept at low traffic volume to make the place appear more like a home than an Org.

The flaw in all this was that the neighborhood was zoned single family residences and the neighbors, old staid, wealthy families of tradition objected vehemently to us being there running an operation that seemed like some sort of business enterprise. The neighbors complained to L.A. City Council that their peaceful neighborhood was being invaded by some group of flamboyant people not the family people typical of the neighborhood and that further more all parking spots on the adjoinings streets were being taken up all day by visitors of this strange goup which had moved in next door.

CHAPTER 6 - TOO LITTLE TOO LATE
Either through Flag Management or the brain trust at CCLA a plot was hatched to try and keep us in the building. It was a typical Sea Org shore story. We were to pretend to be some kind of discussion group that met regularly and discussed art. The most conventional looking people were picked, those who were a little older and wore suits and ties and had shorter hair, etc. I was not staff then but public but I was picked to serve, another person chosen was my good friend Beverly Carter, the actress, also staff. Our Chaplain Andrik Schappers, was chosen (he is still in the Church and leads crusades in Europe to expand Scn.), Dick Hubbard had that All American look and may have been choosen, I believe Ellen Jones was chosen and perhaps her husband Mark plus we had Irene Howey and also Henry Baumgard and others for a total of 12 or so "Art Critics". The day the official from the City of L.A. was scheduled to come over, we were ready for him. The bust of LRH was removed, all Scientology books and Paraphernalia were removed and replaced by a vast number of art books. All the men wore suits and ties and the women all wore nice dresses. We picked an artist such as Monet or Picasso or van Gogh and all read up on his bio and drilled it a little. When the guy from L.A. showed up, Yvonne acted as the host and showed him in. We were all discussing art and this fellow was well groomed, quite charming and very cordial to us. He stuck around for 20 or 30 minutes obseving us and then shook hands with everyone and left smiling. We thought we had done very well but it really did not matter. Even if we were an art discussion group, visiting Yvonne, the amount of traffic going in and out on a day to day basis and the amount of parking taking place in a residential neighborhood ruled out any chance we had to stay. We were ordered to move out within some prescribed time such as 30 days or 60 days. A new house on 9th Street and Lake St. about 3 blocks from the Centre was chosen and the Mansion was vacated on schedule and the move to 9th and Lake went smoothly. That completes this phase of the story. Other things may be added from time to time as they become available to me to do so.

Is there any place for a smart guy like me in this writing venture you are investigating? Besides being smart I try to be totally honest and ethical and as you know I have excellent writing skills. I am coming to a place in life where I need to make a career change and want to close down my home remodeling business. I'm just asking, you know, people with my qualifications and experience do not grow on trees.

It's a day too early for this question. But one thing I can say: it is NOT a writing venture. It is basically business coaching. What I have to write now is the introductory presentation, and then I'll have to spend some months on writing "sanitized" training and coaching materials, but the product we want to sell is the coaching of company personnel.

Explanation: I seem to have found the person whom I was always missing most, a salesman with an ego as big as a mountain and excellent business connections. If we have any "chemistry" (which we will find out tomorrow), then the emerging org board is 1. me doing mailings (I am a software developer and have also learned all relevant business admin and graphics software), 2. he making appointments, visiting clients and selling services, 3. me delivering the actual coaching.

Everything else on this org board is yet unmanned (needs more people, or has to be held from above). Plenty of work to do: admin, cleaning, creating materials, training more people (if this venture takes off, we'll be undermanned in a few weeks).

Investors would be nice, then I could stop working myself to death by doing both, earning "secular" money to feed the family, and doing all the work to get the new activity off the ground.

BTW I thought this isn't really something to discuss on the forum, but somehow my PM's don't seem to arrive?

I had a group now and I was determined to make it in this group and thought I would never leave it.
After a happy and wonderful childhood, I became lonely at puberty and lost my way, I became wrapped up in trying to make money, have a job, and have a woman, sex and a family. Most of the people I was meeting were phoney's and only cared about themselves. Except for my parents, brother and some close family members and a couple of friends, no one cared about me or whether I lived or died. When I received this tumultous applause from 150 staff and public at CCLA I felt that I had a group who loved me and I was no longer alone. That moment was the most touching moment in my life and I'll never forget it.

Thank you so much for duplicating what I was conveying there. Its all true, all the gospel truth. I searched for how to best say it and succeeded. Everytime I read it myself, I tear up. When someone questions why I stayed so long I should refer to page 7 of my story and tell them, read that and you will Know.

Oh, on the business venture, I'm interested, please send more. I've received a couple of PM's from you and answered them I believe.

Thanks for picking that thought up Carmelo, you are so right! I meant to write that to Heidrun and forgot to write it in but that is exactly what's happening here. I can see so much difference and growth. In 1971 I was still young, 31 and had my life ahead of me, now nearly 39 years later I am 70 but I am so changed from who I was then, that I wouldn't trade places with that guy from 1971 despite his much younger body.

It really seems as if there is a plan and meaning to life. For me to change and mature as much as I have is a miracle. The thing is I am still learning and evolving and in the last month or two at an accelerated pace.

This will be helpful to many who are researching/writing about Scientology and it's true history.

I do need some serious help.
There has been appointed an impartial investigations team that will investigate aspects of the Sea Organization and Scientology.
They are having trouble though searching through the huge amounts of data that is available on the web.
The consequence of their investigation is paramount. It has ramifications everywhere. Thus, they must be provided with good information.
The trouble the team is having is with the information that is available. They need our help to pin down locations of valuable information.
There is in some instances, too much opinion. And in other instances, the stance taken is too contrary to the Church of Scn. Moreover, the information is scattered in news groups, blogs, and clippings here and there, on threads etc.
Example: CofS states Ron was a brilliant naval officer in intelligence. The other source says he was a total failure and did this or that.
The information is not impartial all the time. Thus, it is hard to investigate because it is too one sided.
What is needed is raw information. Where are his service records? Where is he proof of what he really got up to?

Example:
Church says: We have CCHR and Science fiction of the future front groups. These help people with Human Rights Abuses and the other program gets people writing science fiction.
What is really needed is this:
CCHR has an office located at bla blah street address. It is headed by blah blah. He has been a Scn for 3 years, was on staff and Blah Blah Org for 6 years, was in the SO in the 80’s for 3 years. They get their funds from IAS. They also receive funds from the local council which subsidize their rents. They report statistics to the Blah Blah Organization at so and so address. They have 5 staff. They use trademarks of Scn and pay royalties to use them. Unknown how much money is paid to CSI or IAS or Church of Spiritual Technology.
This is impartial. From here it could be investigated successfully.
There are many areas I need help with to provide good raw data or appropriate precise links that can be followed up by a purer investigator with no knowledge of Scientology. The areas are huge. If you can assist, then please let me know. These areas are as follows:

1. Who has any compiled copies of HCO Pls or Flag Orders, or any policies of any kind - hard copy or softcopy? Yes, there is a specific desire for the following references: RPF Policy. Fairgame policy or HCOBs on PTS/SP handling.
Can a link be provided? Or can the entire lot be scanned in or data transmitted? We have to provide the fundamentals of the most flagrant policy that violates common human rights.
2. Can anyone provide precise details of any persons who are Scientologists in positions of influence, such as a complete list of celebrities, politicians, council members and artists. A complete list, with their field, and location by city. Worldwide if possible?
3. Does anyone have access to the letters L Ron Hubbard sent to JFK?
4. Can someone provide an entire list of ALL Scientology front groups, by name, and by city and by country? This includes all Scn schools, all Narconon programs etc. Their addresses, who the directors are?
5. Can anyone provide copies of the Code of a Sea Org member?
6. Can anyone locate the 1950’s information on the facts surrounding the attempted selling of the movie script “Revolt in the sky” by L Ron Hubbard to Hollywood?
7. Can anyone provide the lecture in the 1950’s where in LRH talks about Xenu?
8. Can anyone provide Ron’s Journal 67?
9. Can anyone provide copies of all known SP declares/Ethics Orders of all kinds or search through the internet to find them?
10. Can anyone provide copies of the Guardian Orders or programs?
11. The OT Levels 1-8
12. Copies of any letters sent by the Church anywhere in the world that have attempted to black list a person.
13. Copies of any letters issued by the Church of Scn warning persons not to communicate with a known SP or other person.
14. A location where someone can find all the results of court cases against Scn.
15. Can anyone provide the corporate structure of CST, RTC, CSI and all other Church organizations and list their directors or trustees?
16. LRHs list of family members, where they are now, dead or alive, current stance in relation to the Church.
17. LRHs Naval History.
18. LRHs history post navy and prior to 1967.
19. List of all LRH boats purchased for the SO, when, how big etc. If known.
20. Any information regarding projects funded by the IAS.
21. Size of known SO reserves, and IAS funds.
22. Information on the tithes, and amounts payable to CST by BPI, CSI, RTC, NEP etc, for use of the trademarks?

If anyone can assist, please send me one email per point above so I can file the references, links or attachments. This will make it easy to compile the information and provide it to the investigators.
The investigators are impartial. They need good information. They are not interested in opinion, assumption or dramatization.
If anyone could take up one point and run it for the entire world, it would be excellent.
