ACLC stands for Advanced Coaching & Leadership Center.

As you say there were "30 attendees" . . . . the question becomes, who of them is on this site, if any? It was a relatively restricted affair; some folk who wanted to attend were deterred. :duh: (Not the way to win friends )

Hello AmIFree. I think you might find my posts re: the Stars interesting and informative as to the creation of El Ron's Revenimus Opus Nauseous p.o.s. album "Power of Source".

They're on the Power of Source thread in the L. Ron Hubbard "Scource or Sauced" Topic, Page 8&9 post #'s 74, 78 & 84. There's also a lot of posts on this thread that show your opinion was broadly shared. Sorry, I'm new here also and a computer numbnuts so I don't know how to post the link to the posts yet.:confused2:

Here's a link to your first post in that thread.

By the way, I read all of them and they were very informative!

:thankyou:

Your posts on the Piece Of Shit (AKA Power Of Source) were a tour de force!

nice writing.

What can you say about Laurie Douglas, Charlie Rush, and anything else about Dan Auerbach? I remember Laurie as beautiful and a good singer. Charlie hasn't changed in forty years. He is always the same friendly warm Charlie. I don't think I ever knew Dan when he wasn't glum. For those times, he was an accomplished engineer, but boy was he massey.

This is Laurie's daughter

Yes . . . including "those" who think it's "us" that have the baggage! :duh:

I has interested me to see the tech not graciously applied to help folks get free from any "perceived" (or interpreted as) "baggage."

But that flaw is only a product of the nature of the case we are in the middle of getting rid of. One of the difficulties that comes up is that there is a time, when one is in the middle of handling/running a Game Matrix, that the negative side of it gets dramatized! :wink2: And it can be tough . . . shit is turning on, manifesting, and pushing you about; and you can get all sorts of weird feelings and attitudes towards others. Quite crazy conclusions and reactions towards others can occur

In my view, this explains Alan's oft noted "grumpiness."

Alan's oft noted "grumpiness" can be documented back at least 45 years. I would bet that it was the cause of the other boys trying to kill him when he was 10.

Please put a bit more detail on this.

When I talked to Ceil the last couple of times, I was told that "I" was the cause of the entire failure of Knowledgism to gain traction, that "I" had been against it and worked to wreck it. Alan was no more than ten feet away, as she told me that. He was clearly telling her what to say.

I took that with more than a grain of salt, but apparently Ceil didn't.

My take is that, at least for the last two decades, he has been in major pain. He could barely walk in 1995. Pain drives a person crazy.

Furthermore his modus operandi of 'Fake it till you make it" must have come back to haunt him over and over.

Much like Hubbard, having no one around of perceived comparable magnitude to ever give him a session, allowed him to miss things on himself that others saw. He was a sucker for a brown nose like Eric.

I was hoping for something a little more blunt and direct. :D

When I met him two years ago he could walk fine and seemed in good health. Wasn't grumpy in the couple of hours we spent together, in fact
was very jovial. I met his co-processor also. I was quite impressed that Alan
allowed her to audit him despite her being a relative newby. IIRC they had been co-processing for a decade.

Since that time, he had a major heart operation, his teeth removed because of cancer of the mouth (smoking too many stogies). Death can be a godsend over continuous pain.

I would be cranky too.

Terril,

He had had both his knees replaced by the time you saw him. The pain Carmelo speaks of was from severe arthritis in his knee joints that resulted from sports "wear and tear." He had his knees replaced probably around 1999 or 2000 . . . I could look in my archived emails and get a correct date . . . but its not that important.

Alan does mention in a couple of his tapes that "if you were to visit him at home you'd see he sits in one position all day long, as it hurts for him to move."

He actually told me he chain smoked his cigars as a method of controlling the pain . . . . he, err, umm, did not listen to my advices on that subject:no:

His rationale was that the "carbon-monoxide he inhaled with his cigar smoking reduced the oxygen level in his blood and reduced the pain."

I personally know that to be incorrect, but he was a hard man to "correct." Though it is true that the pain level will spiral up and down with the nicotine level in the blood, his rationale and application of the observed phenomena was incorrect.

Two years ago his co-processor was Ceil. He trained her from scratch. She had not been his processor for anything like a decade, though she had been in Kn since about 1997. He had another co-processor in the UK (a female).

And two years ago, by then, he was walking OK. He'd also taken off a couple of hundred pounds of weight.

Alan was always affable with potential clients and those who were/are opinion leaders . . . . he reserved his grumpies for those "close" to him . . . and there is case phenomena behind that which is something we all have. This is not a critical of Alan, but instead a tech point to be made.

Alan's accomplishments are quite astounding, and to be honored and applauded. The other side of the coin is that a deeper understanding of his foibles and the immensity of the task he set himself and the issues he had to surmount to accomplish what he did is also appropriate. It will lead to a greater understanding of and appreciation of what he accomplished . . . . grumpiness and all!

Laurie, Charlie and Dan

Thanks Carmelo…I appreciate your appreciation.

After over 35 years it’s good to be able to tell the POS story to those that can relate to it. I refrained from telling it to those that were never “in” because after my opening sentence of, “When I was working for L. Ron Hubbard on his yacht…,” the story would get derailed by, “When you were WTF!?” I refrained from telling it to those that were “in” because after my opening sentence of, “The reason POS was a pos was solely because of LRH’s utter lunacy and hubris…,” the story would get derailed by, “WTF man, that’s real 1.1 suppressive!!”

Thanks for the pic of Laurie’s daughter…gorgeous just like her mom. I was always amazed at how good Laurie looked considering the conditions we all lived with. To look that good all the time is testament to just how lovely she was. Look’s, voice, personality=true triple threat…what a tomata, huh?

Charlie’s last name says it all, “Rush”. He was the kinda feller you’d want with you on a road-trip to anywhere. He, along with Luten Taylor, Bill Potter, Neil Sefartti and maybe Craig Ferriera were the top talents, IMO. Luten was a cool cat…a Libs dinner with Alethia and Luten was as good as it gets.

Dan was massy and messy. He had the neurosis of Woody Allen sans the sense of humor. But, gotta tell ya, I know where some of his burden was coming from…he was El Ron’s A/V guy. He was getting peppered, pestered and painted--sometimes multiple times a day—with messenger runs or El Ron “hisself” about this, that and everything. The guy came up with some very clever stuff that might have made him some serious dough in the real world, but what he mostly got was ridicule and diffidence. Now, as far as the messy part goes…probably his mama. :wink2:

Good folks all…I hope all them are living well. I haven’t seen any of them in 25+ years.

This is starting to stir my heart ‘cause good people are always with you there--even if the head forgets.

Thanks again, Carmelo. Very kind and thoughtful of you.

Yes I met them both. The UK person was his co-processor IIRC for a decade. I have her business card somewhere.

That sentence in Red..... No, it was a short term thing, intense and on an area he was interested in, but she dropped off to do her other things.

She predated Ceil as a co-processing partner, though there may have been some overlap. Eric W had shown himself to be too flaky and behaved really too grossly unethically to continue with.

Alan and I both shared the view that we each found being processed by a female "better" and easier than being processed by a male . . . simple mechanics, the life-force flow and discharge is a little easier, we found. Maybe females find it "easier" and better being processed by a male?? Some may care to comment on this. There are technical mechanics involved in this that I might comment on at another occasion if I find the time.

The thing to know about Alan is that he often stayed connected to terminals and scenarios in order to study them and WTF is going on there. He was avidly into the acquisition of knowledge, and sometimes you need to stay connected to areas long enough to gain the knowledge needed to resolve such.
