You don't have to preach to me Face, I'm already in the choir!

Your very kind, Lakey.

I began writing this specifically to encourage you to go forward but, as usual, I got carried away.

Great news on your “Breakout” Session.

Carmelo speaks great sooth re: fees. Focusing on the money isn’t what got you to where you are.

Gifts are not there to be cash cows and instruments of wealth creation…although that can happen as a by-product…they are there to light your path and the paths of others that cross your path. Exchange, synergy and sustenance in many forms, types, flavors and colors is the “juice” that helps your light shine brighter but is not the light itself.

Unfortunately, when focus (context) is lost, the “Mirror Effect” can also happen with gifts and you become the moth that flies into your own flame (like El Ron and Mary Sue).

What gifts I have, have brought me many blessing and my abuse of others and self with them many heartaches.

Face:)

Face, what do you mean in your above comment that I need a keeper? You mean like a woman to keep me and support me or like an animal keeper down at the zoo, who feeds animals, hoses out their cages and tends to them in general. Are you refering to those kinds of keepers or are you telling me that I am "Certifiable" and need to be kept in a local sanitarium for observation.

Nurse Crotchett in the Jack Nicholson film, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" would be a good keeper for me. She is big enough and tough enough to choke me if I don't toe the line. Then if I really misstep, she can use the ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy) machine to break my stubborn streak and make me more tractable. Its nice to know you always have my best interests at heart Face.

ON YOUR QUOTED POST
I always try and exchange in abundance and consider outflowing help much more valuable than inflowing money. However, there is nothing wrong with having an affluence of money! I have two women in my life now, one leaving and one newly coming in. Their names are very similar, both starting with "E" and ending in 'y". I lost Evy partly because of money. Money wasn't the biggest issue but it was big enough that if I had made us rich, I am pretty sure she would not be leaving now. With Edey, I am trying to promote to her and she wants money, she wants to be rich. Just turning 60, she does not want to tie in with a guy with poor money prospects. It is only natural for a woman to place a man's monetary success high on her list of requirements of what she is looking for. I know I would do that if I was a single woman.

Though money is MEST oriented, there is nothing intrinsicly wrong with the concept of money per se that I can see. Certainly, it is not healthy to view it as an end all or ultimate goal but why not be able to have it flowing in in abundance. Many less able and less aware beings are able to do it. Having money is not sacrosanct, it is very useful to have it so why not have it in abundance. We know that if we want it and do not have it then we ourselves are causing this condition to learn some sort of lesson. We have the ability to change our own universes with our God like intention so why not do so so as to increase the amount of money we have. It is a test of a thetan to do this as in "The true test of thetan is to make things go right." I want to have money for various rational reasons so I should be able to make things go right where I get a lot of it in an ethical manner. To do less is not acceptable.

The way I see pricing, whether we are talking wallpaper hanging, painting, or spiritual coaching is: get started for free if necessary. work for any price, without feeling that you are being taken advantage of. When more people (word of mouth) comes to your door, jack up the prices incrementally. Keep jacking the prices up. Eventually you get paid what you're worth.

Yep, Carmelo's got it right. Everything will just flow into a bigger and bigger income. When you have too many people to work on, raise your rates and keep raising them as long as you have way too many to work on. It will eventually balance out. I'm so excited for you Lakey. :happydance:

Wow FoTi, thanks for that encouragement!!!

For sure, Lakey.....you were way underpaid. Look at all that you helped the guy with. Where else could he get that much in one session? Your services are worth a whole lot more than what you received or what you will get paid for your next session. I would suggest that along with the group that you are working with there, check around your area and look for other groups that are into kind of far out thinking or spiritual healing....hook up with them and show them what you can do. Once the word gets out of what you can do, people will be talking about you and you will be getting lots of referrals and people will be beating down your door for your services. I bet that as your reputation with this grows it will bring you more wealth than you have known this lifetime as well as the freedom to work when you want, do what you want.....woo hoo!!!!! Wow! This is too cool!!!! Go Lakey!!!!

How kind of you FoTi. You know FoTi, I hope you have an outstanding record as a seer because I am really liking what your are seeing in your encouraging post.

OTHER GROUPS WHO DEAL IN THIS AREA?
I am not aware of any such groups. The C of S is supposed to be qualified to do this but they could not possibly take anyone off the street cold and do what I did. Freezone Assoc., not a chance, Independent Field, I doubt it very much and if one of them, say Trey Lotz or Diana Class 8 were to attempt it, an entire program would have to be done and several intensives would have to be purchased before they would take this on. I think Pierre Ethier could have handled this guy as a walk in if he wanted to but he could have just as easily sold the guy an expensive program.

Aside from some of our top tech people on ESMB in general and on this thread in particular I have my doubts if anyone else in the world could have given this man an assist type action right off the street which handled so much for him in only 70 minutes. Perhaps there are some practioners in Eastern Religions who could do it or perhaps a few psychics. The Tech comes from Scientology alone as far as I know. It is the brain child of both Hubbard and Mayo as far as I know. In C of S there may not be anyone who could have done what I did and if there is, they would be prohibited by policiy from doing it without proper setups and C/Sing.

I am sure thare are probably some past life healers such as myself who wander the world with these types of gifts, certainly a few much more gifted than me but I doubt if any of them are well known or well promoted or belong to a group of like individuals. I have no slightest idea of how many people in the world could have handled that guy last night. If asked to give a wild assed guess, I would say that the breakdown might be as follows:

On ESMB 50 to 100 people, at least half of them on our thread.
Active in the C of S - maybe 30 to 40 people but none would be allowed to do it.
Freezone - Maybe 50 people but there again maybe only 5 -10 would actually do it.
Outside without any Scientology connectioin - maybe 500 worldwide, but all done indiviually in a local area.

Those are just guesses, does anyone have any comments.

"Life vests are mandatory" he says. I don't think so. Half of all the guys who died on Omaha beach that day died of drowning.

For an infantryman weighted down with 50 pounds of gear, a life vest would not have done a damn bit of good.

I also doubt that it's true. Still, I've never seen a breakdown and I doubt the coroner could keep up.

I think you’re just fine, Lakey…I was jest messin’ with you…there wasn’t any innuendo to it.

I wasn’t trying to preach to you or anyone about money. I guess I was just talkin’ to myself mostly. Everyone is free to look at money as they wish. Of course it’s always good to have some dough. Having dough just doesn’t rule my life.

As long as I wasn’t tryin’ to mooch off her, I wouldn’t want to be with a woman if I felt or knew that me having dough was of importance to her…that simple. How I feel about people and what my opinion of them has not a flippin’ thing to do with whether or not they got dough. Everybody is free to decide what they think is important in another…I just don’t think havin’ or not havin’ dough means that one being is superior, better or more worth interactin’ or bein’ with than the other.

Three and a half years ago I had a wife decide her life would be better if she didn’t spend the rest of it with a brain damaged, useless and invalid husband…all the dough in the world wouldn’t have kept her there but I’m confident she would have stayed a little longer if she knew I’d be croaking soon. I paid for her college, set her up in career, bought her “dream house”, provided an affluent life with lots of first class trips, designer cloths and goodies, on and on, but in the end, it wasn’t the money…or, maybe it was and the fact that I sure wasn’t lookin’ like I’d ever be makin’ any more dough and sure looked like I was gonna be “high maintenance” and needin’ “attention”. I dunno, couldn’t get a straight answer out of her.

Anyway, guess I’m preachin’ again. All I know is, me and the richest person in the world will have the same amount of dough the moment each one of us drops the bod, and that dough ain’t gonna do them no good where ever wee’s goin’ next.

There's merit in what you say in so far as supply of raw materials to germany goes. But industrial output was not harmed nearly as much as the allies had hoped. Aircraft production for example never slacked off at all.

Your second para is spot though as far as the western front goes. But bear in mind that for Germany four-fifths of the war effort was directed against Russia. The allies were only 20% of their war. Russian industrial output is what drowned the Wehrmacht.

Not so much Russia's industrial output, but Stalin's willingness to drown Germany in Russian blood.

The Soviet Union lost close to 24 million people (military and civilian) in WW2, compared to Germany's losses of 6 to 9 million.

Let's not forget that the US was supplying the USSR with material during the war as well.

I've had girl friends and one wife (no divorces so far, it looks like that stat is going to remain a flatline) who were much richer than me and much poorer.

What has been true for me, was that I / we moved in together almost instantly. That we were, and remain, today, friends. I don't have any bad things to say about any of my exes. I love them. My girlfriend from 9th grade is still my friend. We keep in touch constantly.

Knowing my wife and myself as I do, we'd both do the Dorian Gray thing if we could keep holding little people's hands for the next thousand years. We love kids. We like kids. They are part of us.

As to the clinical tests, that would be so nice and so extremely valuable if such tests could occur. The place where they should occur is in Med Schools or in studies of Psychology and Psychoanalysis but it is doubtful if they will ever appear there. For one thing, the Drug Companies are big financial contributors to these institutions and certainly do not want to lose business to some mental or spiritual practice which does very well on double blind with placebo type of testting procedures. What do you think about that? It would be interesting to hear your opinion.
Lakey

These kinds of tests are extremely expensive to conduct, what with the record keeping and all the test. A clinical trial like you're describing could wind up costing a million or two. Med schools don't do these things for free. In academic research, hardly anything happens which is not funded by a grant from somebody.

This is what I was doing when I had my own business. When I had enough work to keep me busy for 30 hours per week, a new project would need to pay more than my existing projects for me to be interested. Either way I'd win: I get got more money, or maintained some leisure.

I don't know any way of saying this without making Standard Tech people wrong, so apologies.

Auditors from the 50s and 60s mindset, Ant Phillips, Phil Spickler, my wife, my daughter, wife's ex step daught, etc, myself, anybody who was ex scio having been at ACW's would have done a handling (each different and distinctively their own) would have handled it in one session. No question.

Because the Scientology Standard Tech culture has so pervaded the mindsets of the ex sci culture, we don't pierce others' envelopes, but what you did was perfect from the OLD VIEWPOINT of auditing the person in front of you. I never lost that viewpoint. Many of us didn't. We stay pretty much under the radar.

In NO WAY, should you consider this an inval. You have joined a club that requires knowingness rather than rote. That is a pretty high ability.

Keep it up. Nothing makes me happier than people using knowingness, as opposed to staying within the rules.

Very cool, Carmelo.

I agree with you re: floatin' boats. I was speeking about how I see things for me and I suppose I sometimes sound preachy. I'm still on friendly terms with my exes but I wouldn't call them friends. I wish her and her well, I will always love her and her...kinda like the Dolly Parton song she wrote for Porter Wagoner, "I Will Always Love You". I wouldn't trade anything about my life for what it was before.:coolwink:

I've had 5 "committed" relationships with women in m life...all of the women were similar (artists or teachers, good lookin' and very cute (I like cute), intelligent, siritual and a little "wacky" in a very cool way) and yet very different (rich, poor, middle class, older than me, younger than me, country, city, suburbia).
:confused2:

Viva la difference.:happydance:

Kind of depends on an individual's opinion of exactly what constitutes "standard tech". :whistling:

Although there are many who claim the name of "standard tech" who would take offense, there are others who have a more "pragmatic" viewpoint.
