Comments on Marlene's look and space.

Oh to be YOU
Tell Johnny Hi.

at 21 still with those 'no eyebrows' which are still no eyebrows..This was amongst the garage sale paintings and frames. I thought about my love for Marlene when I saw it... put the memory stick in the drive and here you go.

Looking at Marlene's space, she is exactly the opposite of the big toothy grin and wide eyed look where you can look deep into a young girls eye's and supposedly see her soul. Marlene starts her space radiating outwards and then just seems to truncate the space and it ends. This creates mystery and mystique in her space, sort of a feminine guile. Usually, when this look is projected the person, usually a woman, is hiding something (i.e. has a withhold). In Marlene's case this not the case! She has no real withholds apparent, she is extremely comfortable in her own skin and has nothing to hide. She just wants not to be transparent and wants to keep you guessing and perhaps that is what gives her such mystique.

Who else has this trait, Maybe Ingrid Bergman or Lauren Bacall, Audrey Hepburn?, Barbara Stanwyck?

Here's Ingrid Bergman

Hats, the woman in the garage sale painting in incredibly beautiful. Are you trying to sneak one by us? Is that you in your youth?

I've never hung up about whether they "blow" or not. If the action results in GIs, LFBD F/N etc, then it can't have been bad. If they need to "blow" - or there is more to handle in any way - well there is always tomorrow to run another session.

Maybe when tomorrow comes and there appears to be more to handle - well maybe there is - or maybe someone else that seems to be same got restimulated. Whatever - who cares - just run what needs to be run on whoever needs it run now.

It is very easy to get stuck in the significance - but that is just a bunch of Q&A.

Nick

This week I had some sticky reservations and could not see my way clear to getting off of a maybe. So, I thought maybe I'm just being intuitive and there's a reason why I cannot visualize said outcome clearly on my future track and this is an omen. I looked around in my space and found another's postulate regarding the same exact item. The other person wasn't connected to me. Its just that their postulate in the ethers and MY postulate countering it caused a mass. So now one of the things I can do is ask Is there someone different who also has a postulate about that? Did you ever go shopping and see someone at the checkout counter next to you who had the very item you wanted so bad but somehow it slipped your vision. Someone decided it was going to be theirs and no one else would get to it.

The united states is becoming like one of those middle eastern 'tells' where we just have a culture flooding in to build another city right over the top of the previous one which gets buried.

Drawing the line is the issue. Agendas exist to make sure there arent any any more. I think this absolutely will result in right makes right again when it over and done with.
My friend moved into a 55 and older mobile home community which was really pretty, safe and comfortable. They needed housing for people relocating to the community from Puerto Rico. So first they changed the rules so that only 60 percent had to be over 55. Then the county bought the mobile home community with newer models next door. The businesses there did not want all the kids coming thru to get to the main highway. Sooo they rerouted the new families to drive thru the entire 55 and older community and out past the security gate there. I would sue. The line in the sand has been scuffed over everywhere you go. I pointed out that to mgmt that residence pay a fee to have someone check guest I.D.s when entering the property so why let everyone come thru the back gate to get out towards the front? Their policy is to deny everything. Orlando has the unique distinction of being given away as part of the reparation act. Like the Panama Canal. What happened to respecting the culture that's already living there.
The govt wouldn't displace the hotel and casino workers in Vegas by bringing in crews who worked in the tourist industry in Jamaica or the Virgin Islands just because it was time to help that culture be more progressive. The nice tete a tetes over tea at the U.N. may end all warm and fuzzy, but somebody's being screwed.
Its gonna come back to haunt us, this not having any boundaries, in more ways than one.

It's the best in us that lasts the longest, Terril :D :happydance:

But really, you didn't do my internationally famous PE/Intro Lecture?

If not, how in heaven's name did you get to my FSM course as your first action? (this would have been the second half of 1967 or early '68.)

I also ran the weekend Comm Course in those days . . . and there was a guy on it that I facilitated a HUGE gain and win for that looks a little like he could have matured into the photo we see of you in your avatar. :D

Rog

I could well have attended your PE lecture. The FSM course was my first course. As I recall. Its possible I could have done the comm course at london,
but if I did I don't recall it at all. I did do a weekend comm course at St Hill
which I think was my first.

I remember hearing a talk by Mark Jones, and another by I believe the first OT 5 Bill Deutz or a similar name and a lady whose name I can't recall, both
at the same event.

The words "at 21" were next to Marlene & not you!

Of course its me. I typed in 'me at 21' but for some reason the Me did not get in there next to the photo of my Olan Mills faux oil painting. circa 1978 :p I was trying to show you that you were right about reaching me with this Hollywood lady. I went back and edited the post as to be clear.

I initially saw the words "at 21" and figured that must be you, illustrating the similarity of your space to Marlene's but then the words "at 21" were next to Marlene's picture and not yours and seemed to connect to the comments about Marlene's "no eyebrows". This threw me for a loop and I figured the picture of Marlene was taken when she was 21. Finally, I decided the picture was not just some random picture which you encountered at a garage sale but you were showing YOUR picture and not telling us it was you on purpose to see if someone would figure out it was you.

A TRIBUTE TO HATS
You were born in 1957, the year I graduated high school. You are only 53, just a kid as far as I'm concerned.

Here's my capsule summary of you. You had tremendous physical beauty (and I am sure you still do) but you were no bimbo but actually had an extremely keen intellect. All sorts of men were swarming all over you; at first life looked interesting and full of promise but then you were hurt badly in your first, or one of your first relationships. At the time, you had no workable spiritual technology to undo the hurt. Newer men were now throwing themselves at you, trying all sorts of "lines" to make themselves different. Most of them were idiots whom you would reject and you took delight in rejecting them "hard" so as to cause them pain and deflate their haughty egos.

I perceive that a few (two or three but probably three) of the men who threw themselves at you were decent men, good men of character and one of those would have been especially suitable for you but "something in you" didn't care and you trashed them all the same as the many jerks whom you rejected.

Something inside of you revelled in trashing male egos, especially of those men who were accustomed to always getting their way with beautiful women. Though you delighted in hurting their egos, you would sometimes go out of your way to do so. Upon reflection, you knew that what you were doing was wrong, trashing men's egos just for the pleasure of it. You began to not like yourself and started to become eccentric. Word got out that you were a "bitch" or you were "messed up" and that despite your beauty, men should stay away.

You were in this state when you first encountered Scientology. It offered a glimmer of hope that you could find yourself, correct yourself and create the kind of life which you felt you were destined for. A life not that different from Vivian Leigh's, Marelene Dietrich's and a few others great stars.

As with so many of us, your initial successes in Scientology came crashing down due to the inherent evil built into the management tech and the spiritual tech beyond the introductory levels. Your hopes for spiritual recovery and achieving the type of life commensurate with your great beauty and your keen mind and free spirit were once again dashed and you became somewhat cynical and withdrawing.

It was in such a condition that you stumbled onto the Apollo 1973 thread. Right off the bat you saw people posting here who you could relate to. As you began making your posts, you got answers which made sense to you. The Apollo 1973 thread began to be the safe space which you had once longed for in your early halcyon days in the C of S.

So it is, we are here for you and have given you not just a "soul mate" but dozens of soul mates whom you can relate to. You have picked up tech, mainly from Roger which has empowered you and unstuck your case. With case resurgence and a host of new friends whom you can actually communicate your feelings and emotions to, you have returned our assistance to you in abundance and have shared your life and your incites with us and have greatly enriched our thread!

As Purple Haze pointed out, such is the Power of panel discussion groups, they can help former group mates run out the third dynamic engram. With that dynamic handled, the other dynamics start picking up as well.

Hats, many fine people have benefitted from posting here including me. In your case, however, you are special, you are an artist and a very aesthetic being, You exemplify beauty, style art, aesthetics, deep complicated emotions. You live life with a flair, a "joie de vivre" as the French say. Yes, you are very special! We are very fortunate to have you among us.

Go back far enough, and the concept of "legitimate ownership" becomes meaningless. Look at England, where the Germanic Angles and the Saxons invaded Britain in the 5th Century, and in turn were conquered by the Normans in 1066.

People occupy lands, generally intermarry with the prior inhabitants, and it becomes hard to tell who's who after a few generations.

Yeh, this is good and correct, Nick.

Good, honest processing to do it that way. The Hubbard straight-jacket screwed so many people up with its "musts," it's tragic.

I am way behind on responses I'd have liked to have made on this thread, and topic.

One one point, along the lines of Nick above, that I wanted to make to Lakey on his note that a spiritual connection "blew" or left when he didn't prefer that it do so, I would make this point.

Lakey, it might or might not have "blown." Don't sweat it. Nick above is correct.

The deal is this . . . what "blew" and undid was the hung up condition between you and the spiritual Being connection . . . . and that is the important point. The "trouble" the Being and you had, is vanished.

Now, it might just be that the Being is able to be in harmony with you, and you with it, and what is vanished is the mass and sensations by which you used to recognize the presence of the Being. And if you looked for such, and couldn't detect the familiar feeling . . . . :D

You might, quite likely become aware of the Being later as you each progress and raise your awareness further and at a higher emotional/ability level.

That's why those final two actions are important in dealing with the Being: find something you can appreciate about the Being and convey that appreciation to the Being :D

By the way, those two questions "What" and "Who" are used in Alan's spiritual teammate handling, but they are used differently and as part of the overall sequence of his R/D . . . for it is important the Being recovers its certainty of who and what it is :D

Also, a troublesome spiritual connection can be run on "Dones and Restraints" (O/W) to clean them up so they are then processable on a full handling.

Hats,

You are correct on your perception that "postulates/intentions" can be coming in from other Beings who are not "spiritual Teammates" etc.

Alan created an entire R/D called the "Hidden Who Handling" that deals with this type of traffic. They sometimes are what's behind why our actual spiritual teammates get screwy with us . . . it's rather like the 3P phenomena . . . but at a spiritual level. Another Being separate to you and your teammate is doing or has done something to get the strife going between you :grouch:

This is my exact take on it.

I'm in lock step with you on this! I know citizens of Mexican heritage resent the land grab the use did on Mexico, taking nearly half their territory away. If I were Mexican heritage, I know that I would reel resentment.

But inspite of the crime which was perpetrated, there are some significant mitigating factors to consider. Mexico was a new country and its capital was in a whole different part of the contintent down in Mexico City. There was not even a railroad line yet between Mexico City and say Colorado or California or really to anywhere in the 1820's when Mexico began existence as an independent country. Mexico is still a large country, bigger than France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Poland combined. The Mexican Government had limited resources and they were much more needed deep in central Mexico than they were in distant and barren outposts of their new country where essentailly no Mexicans were living.

Second, the USA was not Nazi like in dealing with the Mexican's who were living in the former Mexican territories which the USA stoled. Full US citizenship and rights were offered all Mexicans as far as I now. I do not know the details as to land ownership but I cannot see the US just ignoring land rights of the Mexicans living there. Maybe Mark Baker can comment and enter more details about the take over.

Anyway, the seized territory has been fully developed and now Mexican citizens are mobing back in and starting to become the dominant culture in most of this extremely large land area including, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California and to a lesser extent Colorado. Probably about 40% of the populatiion in these areas is Mexican and based on birth rates and this will exceed 50% in another 20 years or so.

Mexican culture is just thriving in South L.A. County and Orange County wherever I go. Downtown Santa Ana, the county seat of Orange County is virtually 100% Mexican. All the signs are in Spanish, everyone on the street is speaking Spanish, the vendors are all Mexicans or other Latinos, they have the vendors pushing ice cream cars with Mexican brand ice creams, it is just like being in Tijuana. I went in to a store with this crook from Austria who I was friends with last year and I did not expect the sales people to know any English and was prepared to use my non fluent Spanish but every sales person we talked to knew perfect English.

Drive around in the Southeastern suburbs of L.A. Take Huntington Park, Monterrey Park, Pico Rivera, Sante Fe Springs.... In Huntington Park, and Monterrey Park, as you drive the downtown, it is 100% Latino. ALL signage is in Spanish, all the people are Latino, the kids waiting for school busses are all Latino, the vast majority are Mexican.

It is poetic justice, the USA stole this territory from Mexico and now the territory is virtually 100% Mexican in many very large pockets of Southern California. Racial relations are good, no one particularly cares if a person is Latino or Gringo. We are all very courteous to one another, we are one big happy family. Many Gringo's now know Spanish and are using it in their daily lives.

You know, it doesn't make the USA land theft right but things may have worked out better the way they are. If Mexico had kept the land, it probably would be very sparsely populated now and what little population there was would probably be almost completely Mexican with just a few Gringo tourists.

With the USA takeover, the Mexicans, the Gringos, the Blacks, the Asians, the Europeans are all living here in pretty good harmony. The culture is very varied, diversity pervades throughout and everybody seems to enjoy the diversity and get along well. When you look for food, foods of all cultures are represented and the same for clothing, art work, entertainment, etc. Had this remained Mexican territory, I don't think this would have happened. While it does not excuse the theft of land, it makes it easy for people like me to put it out of their mind and just enjoy our vast and diversified culture which we are all sharing and enjoying together.

I didn't understand her either. I'm not sure who she's addressing either. I did not know what her issue was either.

Sharone was one of the original messengers on the Apollo. She was locked in a ships hold when around 11 years old for no good reason. She was only in
the SO because she wanted to stay with her father. Her father was sent to Denmark. She later had permission to go there to be with him but he wasn't
there anymore . In fact she only just found him again recently. He has never worked since the SO and is in a questionable state of mental health.
Sharone was brought up in care.

The title of this thread does not bring fond memories to her.

One big important point is that the number of Mexicans living there before American settlers came was fairly small. This was due to two reasons: (1) it's arid and hard to grow crops in the SouthWest unless you have wells, pumps, and irrgation facilities, and (2) the Native American plains tribes (Comanches, Apaches, Navajos, etc).

The second is the bigger reason why Mexican settlement was so sparse there. The major reason WHY American settlers were invited into Texas was so they could serve as a buffer between Mexico and the Plains Indians, who tended to go on raids into Mexico and attack settlers. They didn't like farmers disturbing their buffalo hunting patterns.

That's all well and fine.

If you were of Inca, Aztec, or Mayan heritage would you be equally resentful?

Precisely. Indeed the whole notion of "blow" with respect to a being (as opposed to a mass) is really quite weird. A being has location only by consideration - thus ultimately there is no such thing as "blow" for a being - what there is is a change of consideration - and to do that it may have been necessary to address some energy/mass - and the things that hold that in place

Ted, I'm confused so I will respond.

That's all well and fine.

If you were of Inca, Aztec, or Mayan heritage would you be equally resentful?

No need to answer.

I am an American so I am concerned with the USA creating a war with Mexico in 1845 and taking almost half the land away from their country. I know that if I was of Mexican heritage and especially if I was living here I would feel some resentment.

The Inca, Aztec and Mayan cultures were destroyed by the Spaniards not the USA. The Spaniards completely wiped out those Indian cultures and erased them from the Earth. The USA stole Mexican land but tried to treat the Mexican's who lived on that land as fairly after the fact of their crime. They put the land to good use and now millions of Mexicans co-occupy it and are doing well here. Mexican culture is thriving in Southern California and throughout the Southwest and is celebrated and greatly admired by non Mexican's as well.

To answer your question, I resent what the Spaniards did to those three great Indian Cultures even though I am not an Inca, Mayan or Aztec. If the Americans had treated the Mexicans the way the Spaniards treated those three great Indian tribes, as soon as I was old enough, I would have renounced my US citizenship and moved somewhere else, probably to Mexico.

Mexico rocks and the Mexican people are fantastic. As a group they tend to be spiritual, kind, warm, industrious and hard working people. They always make you feel welcome and comfortable in their homes. They are more themselves ("in valence") than your average Gringo. Their culture has warmth in its colorful murals and art works and has a lively music and dance tradition as well as very tasty cuisine. If I were Mexican, I would be very proud of my heritage.
