(turning off the fun flirting) I had a girl friend once, who had been a kept woman. She had compartmentalized things. We had a lot fun shaking the bed. You might just look at the idea that you can change your mind. The people (male and female) who come to this thread aren't the same people who dance or ogle or go to the back rooms. There may be some cross over, but ** from my experience** there is nothing so cool as someone to share joys and sorrows with, someone to travel with, someone who shares non routine values - like auditing; Not a hanger on, but a separate individual, not needy, but capable of empathy. Depending on each person's own sex drive, the sex can be great or non existent, but the feeling of "my wife" "my husband" "my gf / bf" is really quite empowering. Don't sell yourself short on what you can create. It is "create." It is not "take."

The Dinner Event is set for next Wednesday, the 29th
We confirmed today that the dinner will take place on Wednesday, the 29th in downtown Fullerton. I drove by the place tonight on my way home. It is a raucaus, hole in the wall type of place. I had pictured a classy piano bar. Joan confirmed that She and Johnny would be attending and possibly her Sister Laura and her husband, and Edey confirmed. My ex Evy also confirmed but had to back out because she realized that Wednesday's is her night to go Salsa dancing with her boyfriend.
I think this engagement will be one of the most interesting encounters of my entire life. I will try and take some pictures and post them here if nobody objects.
I am relying on Joan's taste. She is saying the music is good, sort of jazz and Easy Listening. I don't know about the food. Edey is a Vegan, I'll have to make sure they have something on the menu for her. Tonight it was more like Heavy Metal. A lot of loud music was coming out of there as I drove by.
ON DOWNTOWN FULLERTON- It was ranked by the local newspaper as the second best downtown in Orange Country, ranked only behind the City of Orange. To me it looks like something from the late 30's and the 40's because that is when most of the building were built. They have it all spiffed up for a lot of foot traffic. There are something like 65 Restaurants and bars in an area about 1 miles north to south and 1/2 mile east to west. There are plenty of art galleries and antique stores as well. It attracts mostly a young crowd, perhaps many people from Cal State Fullerton, the women dressed fit to kill.

I do for one. Pretty close to the same strength it was when I was 16. No joke. But this isn't about me. It is about hooking up with someone guy or gal to share some of your life.
Also, you could cruise any number of porn sites (voyeurweb.com comes to mind) and find plenty of 50 and older women showing they have interest.
Around 1996, my wife and I were thinking we were going to get divorced. I hooked up with my friend and off again on again lover.
She told me the same thing that you just said. she didn't expect to be having sex again. Nevertheless, before she even realized what she was doing, she went out and bought new underwear. And before a week had passed I was helping her take it off. As it turned out, my wife and I got back together, and have lived happily ever after.
Whether you ( I mean you, not me) are interested in sex with some specific special guy, still doesn't mitigate the idea that you might like a fellow to co audit with, to sleep spoon style with, to make you pancakes on Sunday. It is more of matching each others' needs and wants, than it is in the details.

I have nothing to add to the above statement which, I believe, is true.
The balancing act in which I am constantly involved is one of applying the above in the context of a dog-eat-dog world.
In the dog-eat-dog world of organized scientology, auditors might survive better than non-auditors, but did anyone ever tell you that they do not survive well? In the long run, they do not. The ethics and admin pukes will chew you up and cast you aside the moment they smell blood in the water. The modus operandi of admin is propitiation to hubbard and senior management and CYA (Cover Your Ass).
This is what happened to my friend Claudia Petchek Ballard, Flag trained HSST under David Mayo. She got caught up in the dog-eat-dog world of scio admin. She was a very fine auditor. I stress that. She was a very fine auditor. Her worksheets were impeccable. FESers would fight to get the folders of her pc's when they came in for FESing.
You would want her as your auditor.
In 1984 I invited her to San Francisco as Sterling was looking for a staff staff auditor. Apparently that stated desire was a pipe dream. She ended up working for the SF Mission. The SF Mission was making big money at the time off of clients coming from Sterling and Latch Management. In other words, pulling in the Mission Class 8s under the pretext of getting tech and ethics in would be a source of income for Flag.
By 1987/88 Claudia was writing to me from Flag, terrified of losing her certs and thus her most desired activity and livelihood. She had been caught up in some group ethics action on the mission tech people.
I do not know for certain but she was likely declared an illegal pc even though she was original OT-7 and L-10 completion.
Now she is dead, technically, by her own hand. But scientology admin and ethics personnel are there in the background like the silent SPs that hubbard wrote about.
Define power as reputation and influence. Claudia lost hers. Considering the yapping dogs at your heels or sharks in the water, how much power is enough?
Considering the erosion of one's hard-earned cash (inflation), always under the influence of outside forces, how much money is enough?

Well, yesterday, I followed Face’s advice (who I trust) and went and read FOTi’s “Ups and Down” thread . . . and couldn’t help recognizing how suppressive the orgs and their “tech,” “eth” and “admin” application have become. Bloody scandalous!
I was going to complete FoTi’s thread today, I’m currently only on page 19, and write something of my observations there.
FoTi’s thread was active just before I came on ESMB and, in essence, I originally missed it in my early days. And yesterday, as I read post #130 by her on the thread, I was shaking my head at the insanity of what the orgs and their practices have become. They blame everyone else as being “SP” . . . but THEY ARE IT! The orgs and their conduct are the suppressive.
Yes, there are some wonderful individuals there, and they are typically the auditors, but the tech now is so screwed up, and dictated to by other agendas than correct tech to honor and help the person paying for service it has become a very dangerous and suppressive, destructive environment!
I read of FoTi’s colossal wins and states of Being ascensions, and how they were KO’ed and invalidated and not honored by those dunces and the cookie-cutter “tech.”
There was FoTi having the win of her life, and the dunces couldn’t let her have it . . . . and the more tragic and colossal flaw of the tech, is that they could not let her have HER win and have her state it to be what SHE said it was . . . . Nooooo, they had to invalidate her actually accomplished state and try and make fit into THEIR stupid little system!
THEY WOULD NOT LET HER HAVE HER WIN! How screwy is that! That, actually is as evil and suppressive as you can get . . . and that is the product of Hubbard’s “tech.”
As a comparison, had FoTi been on Kn lines and she articulated the win, the first responses from we Kn processors would have been: a) “wonderful, let’s write up all the regained abilities, states and wins.” b) then, the clever question: “Connected to (regained ability, state or win) what powers have you recovered?”
You see, the win is what SHE states it is . . . not what some stupid rote “Bridge” or grade chart restricts you to! And we HONOR that stated win for we recognize that the client actually knows more about their case than the system!
Reading FoTi’s posts, I would not restrict her by trying to label her state . . . hell no! But she certainly at that time accomplished a state of being able to operate as a spiritual Being, and we have a descriptive for it as being an Operating Spiritual Being. But the truth is you cannot limit such a Being with a label; the fact is the state of Being will continue to expand and become more powerful and more fully under the knowing control of the person as it is further honored and correctly addressed . . . . for it is here that two vitally important actions must be taken.
A) you now process “from the top down” . . . you process the person from and in that ascended to state using and addressing the recovered abilities and powers. Helloooo, is that a good idea? or is that a good idea . . .
B) you honor the state achieved and recognize the Being now processes very differently to the way they processed before their ascension. In this ascended to state they will process holographically . . . . FoTi actually described this as an occurrence in her everyday life. Her perceptions and spiritual awareness was 3DH, and she could affect her environment with her powers. You have to process the client based on this! The bloody church simply just does not understand this . . . it is omitted tech for them! They try and make you fit their stupid, limited little system!
And what do they get from this stupid, limiting system? Caved in people, “OTs” who crash and burn!!
I am appalled. The tech in the CofS was always deficient, that wasn’t “bad,” just unfortunate that it was incomplete . . . but since I’ve left, it has become robotically evil in its application.
I am fortunate that I got my wins and professional processor training in the early days before the cookie-cutter, “this is the only way you can progress” bullshit was put in place. All I had to suffer through was doing the stupid and (for me) unnecessary new “OT levels” because I did not know what they were unless I did them, and I was fortunate to be stable and well enough educated on what was what to make it through that shit without any drama.
But now, I fear for anyone newly going on lines at the CofS. They are running a spirit killing system. Be warned.
