Anyone have any idea the percentage still in the Church from 1970?

Of all those I knew, or had personally come in contact with at the time, including Ron and Mary Sue, about 98% are either dead, blown or hiding out, too afraid of the consequences CoS might do to them, if they dared breath and speak their mind.

I was one of those hiding out, since 1977.

I went underground when I got back to LA in 2005: as Purple Haze on ESMB up until the Fourth of July Party, when Aida was able to corner me and have Tatiana video tape her interview with me. WHEW! I HATE BEING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA! thousands of folks in a live audience bring me to life I found out in 1968... I was fine until Aida then posted my name and info on WHY WE PROTEST with the video for all to see. YIKES!

Yep, it appears, that in a short 3 months time, I STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE and began hitting home runs, with the help of all my new friends.

We are all WINNERS HERE: surviving CoS and the tech is no small thing. The stuff rubs off on you, even when you resist it, as I did = "we're all still brainwashed, stupid."

How one deals with their own CoS extrication experience and its aftershocks is a truly unique statement of one's own genetic/mental/physical/consciousness state.

I'd say your figure above might be very close to the mark. I think the stat for those still in might be a bit higher in the UK than in Oz or the US though.

Terril P would have a clue on the UK scene . . . it is likely the CofS was a little gentler on its minions there that in the US and certainly so than in Oz.

I know of 17 out of 150 staff from CCLA days!

When I did the bc there was probably a hair under 200 on the course. Of those I remember, I know 2 to still be "in" but not active in the Co$.

I don't know of anyone from ASHO at that time still in.

I think most have wandered away, without fear, just not relevant to their lives.

Nobody, unless they have some need for abuse or status stays for the long haul.

Celebrity Centre circa 1973 had about 150 staff members. Of those, I know of two who are still on staff, nearly 40 years later, Pam Lancaster and Cathy Garcia.

I know several more who are still in Scientology but are not at CCLA. These would be Heber Jentzsch, Val Garcia, Geoff Levin, Charley Rush, Al Ribisi, Ray Mithoff, Bob Mithoff, Ty Dillard, Sam Loria, former Deputy Commanding Officer Joyce Myers (now with a different last name), Urban Roman, and Curtis Jones. Also I belleive Ray Mithoff's wife, Gelda Kitchen, is still in and Chick Correa was honorary staff at that time and he is still in.

Some of these date from 1999, Joyce Myers, and 2001 Urban Roman and Curtis Jones. I don't know if those three are still in. Also, though he was not CC Staff, Peter Gillham Sr. put on many events at CCLA and he is still in.
Henry Baumgard might also be in, he was driving a cab in 1999-2000 and I talked to him several times and he was in at that time as were Larry and Shiela Gluck who were CCLA public but were not on staff The same is true for Geoffrey Lewis, Jeff Pomerantz and Robert F, Lyons. Singer Amanda Ambrose and Director Milton Katselas, stayed in their entire lives and both just died recently. Also, I believe pianist Mario Feninger, now approaching his 100th birthday, may still be in. He was public and not staff. My original FSM, Harry Frisch is still in, living in the Clearwater area.

SUMMARY Not counting Peter Gillham, there are 17 staff members still in the church that I know about or about 11.6%. CCLA staff were all Sea Org members. Maybe celebrities are more apt to stay because they are not subject to abuse the way normal staff and public are.

Back then I was a lowly div 6 public. Didn't interact with Paul Spencer Smith much at all. Found him personable enough, but I think he was the head Honcho for the GO. I last saw him in very approx 1990 when he visited a friends house who'd gone type 3 and escaped from baby watch at St, Hill.
He was then an OSA volunteer. As an AGO I expect he got involved with some nasty stuff but I wasn't in any loop to know about it.

His wife Mikayla, an israeli with long blond hair was very pleasant, and
had the reputation of being an excellent auditor.

I knew a Tim who was also and I think it must have been later was the AGO, he was tall thin and dark haired. Don't know his surname. He left
staff and I belief COS best I recall some time in the seventies. I believe he suffered some injustice and left because of that but again I wasn't in any loop to know. The name Sue Litler rings a bell but not sure if I ever met her.
Didn't know any of these in Fitzroy st, and I think the move to TCR was around 1968.

Great post Candy!! Roger described it perfectly with the one word "Sane".

In spite of being brainwashed and made stupid in C of S, there were some incredible talents, inate in me, which my C of S experience brought forward and honed.

Here on ESMB, I am just one of the "guys" among you incredibly brilliant and able writers and posters. However, in the new circles which I move in, I am a major opinion leader of extremely high repute. I found the third dynamic which I have been looking for since my Vienna music days in the 1780's and 1790's.

I have tremendous new friends who simply adore me, several of them extremely beautiful women (both spiritually and physically). These friends are spiritually aware and most believe that we have worked together in past lives and that our group is now reuniting.

I have attempted to merge my friends from my new group, with my ex Scientology friends. You know this Candy because you have come to several functions where my knew friends were present. Johnny has also met many of my new friends as have Joan, Laura and George, all ex Scios.

I did not know what would happen when people from these two diverse groups met but over and over, the people from the two groups immediately take to one another and strike up major new friendships. Bringing these groups together and seeing new friendships form has been an incredibly empowering experience for me.

I am throwing a little birthday gathering in two weeks and people from both groups are attending and now I am introducing my family into the mix. All my friends want to meet my ex wife, who will be there with her new boyfriend as will my lovely 23 year old daughter and two of my first cousins. Also, I am inviting my tile subcontractor from my construction business and my friend from high school Ken R. who is a first cousin of Harry, the guy who originally got me into Scientology. I first met Ken in gym class in 7th grade in 1953!!

None of this would now be taking place had I not gone through Scientology. Had I never been involved with it, I see myself as now being an old man, turning 71, with a large retirement nest egg of at least 1 million dollars, if not more, who would be puttering around on a golf course with no goals in life.

Instead, I am still vibrant and appear to be young both physically and mentally. I have psychic abilities of a very high order and can see people's pictures and often read their minds. I can get a girlfriend much younger than me and I am not only attending parties and events but am hosting my own parties.

Some of you, Candy, are naturals such as yourself and Carmelo. With or without Scientology, you were movers and shakers and you were natural opinion leaders in your lives at all times. You had a large array of lovers as well.

Poor old Lakey arrived on Earth all introverted and filled with implants keeping him boring, conservative and robotic to the society. I needed to get lots of processing and training to just live a life as an upper middle class Earthling who could function normally in society.

At age 70, I feel and act 40 and am having the time of my life and I expect many more years of healthy and pleasureable living. I am giving others sessions nearly everyday and have completely rescued some very lovely people from the depths of despair. They are telling me that had I not entered their lives in the last 4 months, they think they might now be dead! I now have the 3rd Dynamic which I once thought the Sea Org would provide me. We are working on lifting the 4th Dynamic from this 3rd Dynamic platform of which this thread on ESMB is a major part.

Sue, his wife was HCO Exec Sec in '67-'69 or so. Very long blond headed girl, also a mutton-head who didn't have the balls to actually follow policy, but only wanted to look good. It was these two who killed our working Pub Divs . . . with the help of Paul SS who was Eth Officer Fdn in '67-'68.

This is important. Be quite specific . . . this way when you fully articulate them and define them you can truly optimize them and empower them to the highest level.

The CofS's failure to do this for its people is the why of the "loss of gains" so often experienced . . . and has been stated on another thread today, I see.

Your option then is to run Responsibility on each recovered ability/power recovered, also "Have you ever used (ability/power) to impress anyone?" (look up the full meaning of that word impress) and "Have you ever used (ability/power) to prevent another impressing you?"

Also you can run quad flows help on each ability/power . . . but run it as a future: "How could you use (ability/power) to help another? etc., 4 flows"

That will really put you in power on the area or subject.

Thank you very much Roger, I will undertake all of this processing on myself immediately.

Just for an example, when I start to massage someone, I always seem to zero in on the exact spot on the person's neck and shoulders on which to press with my fingers and thumbs to get the optimum start to the session.

Last night, I audited Mike, who is Edey's new boyfriend. He asked in wonderment, "How do you know which spot to press?" He said further, "I have had a lot of professional massages and the masseurs technique is always good but they miss many of the sports which need attention. With you, so far you have gone precisely to every spot which I had my attention on and to no other spots. How are you able to do that?" I told him, "I don't know, I just have that ability". Looking at it in context, I think I am picking up his intentions as to where he would like to be massaged and am somehow drawn to those and only those exact spots.

Edey called me the day before. She was trying to take a nap to prepare herself for an evening out. She finds it very difficult to shut down her mind and just relax. She always feels she must make use of the time and be doing something. This state of affairs is leading her to exhaustion. She asked if I could handle this over the phone.

"I didn't really know what to do, but I told her that I would give it a try." I asked her if she could just meditate. She says that meditation helps a little but is not able to turn off the random thoughts stirring in her mind. I asked her what she would call her restless mind constantly telling her there are chores to be done. We came up with it being a "compulsion", "The compulsioin that she must stay active". I suggested to her that we had to get rid of this compulsion. She agreed and asked me to help her get rid of it.

I really had no idea how to do this but again I just imporvised. It came down to restless energy appearing whenever she tried to relax. I asked her what percentage of the time did she want to act on the energy and do chores and what percentage did she want to relax and ignore the energy. She said she wanted to do the chores 70% of the time and relax 30% of the time. I asked her if she could ignore the energy 30% of the time and just relax and she said "No, she was not capable of that." I then made up a little process. "How could ignoring the energy 30% of the time be helpful" How could ignoring the energy 30% of the time be harmful. I ran this for a while and she had a cognition.

Her cognition was that if she ignored the energy 30% of the time, she would actually get more done because she would be totally refreshed and could work at twice the efficiciency of when she was tired. Thus by only working 70% of the time, she could get 140% as many chores done as if she worked tired 100 percent of the time. Once she became aware of this cognition, she felt she was at cause over her problem and would now be able to take naps. I acknowledged her big win and told her I had to go and hung up. Most of her chores concern getting things done which she believes will help her friends and clients. Being able to do more of what she really wants to do by napping made sense to her analytically to such a degree that she was able to spot the compulsion as being based on false data and get control over it.

I don't know if this is correct tech or not. However, I was asked to help her release a compulsion on the spur of the moment over the telephone. I decided that I could improvise a patch work solution to her problem, spent about 15 to 20 minutes running her on it over the phone and she considered that her problem was solved. I was never trained in this and just improvised it. It is what it is but in her mind, I was a hero, a real savior for her and she let me know in no uncertain terms how grateful she was to me and what she thought of me as a person. To manufacture a patchwork process on someone in 15 minutes and handle a problem for them over the phone is a real "ability" in my opinion.

We all know the mortgage securitization process is complicated.

But just how complicated? The chart below from Zero Hedge shows the convoluted journey a mortgage takes as it morphs into a security.
Dan Edstrom, of DTC Systems, who performs securitization audits, spent a year putting together a diagram that traces the path of his own house's mortgage. "Just When You Thought You Knew Something About Mortgage Securitizations," says Zero Hedge, you are presented with this almost hilariously complicated chart.

The controversy over allegedly shoddy paperwork has raised doubts about the legitimacy of foreclosures nationwide (a crisis illustrated here and here), eliciting lawsuits from homeowners and investors alike.

The Congressional Oversight Panel, a bailout watchdog, released a statement Tuesday that says the scandal over alleged "robo-signers," foreclosure processors who approve documents without reading them, "may have concealed much deeper problems" in the mortgage industry, HuffPost's Shahien Nasiripour reports.

Regulators will have their hands full.

The mortgage industry screwed up. Then again, that does not mean that borrowers should be able to get away with not paying their mortgages, and keep a house they never paid for because the paperwork is screwed up, leaving the taxpayers to do another bailout.

The bottom line for most of these borrowers is:
1) They bought a house and took out a mortgage.
2) They understood at the time that failure to keep up payments meant they lose the house.
3) They failed to make payments, sometimes because they had grandiose ideas of flipping the house for more money, and it didn't work out.
4) They want to screw the lender and keep the house.

Scientology benefits when Miami dentist runs up patient bills

Rosa Hernandez remembers this about her dentist: He sure could close a deal.
She and her husband, Mauricio, had gone to Dr. Rene Piedra with a host of concerns. She had sensitive gums and a paralyzing fear of dentists. He needed bonding.
Piedra, dressed in a business suit instead of a dental coat, showed them computerized models of how he would fix their teeth. He offered them a discount because they came in together, and helped them with a loan application.
"He made you feel like he was part of your family," recalled Mrs. Hernandez, 52, a schoolteacher. "It was like, 'Oh my God, you're going to be okay. Don't worry about it. We are going to take care of you with love.' "
The couple walked out with a "treatment plan" covering several months.
Cost: $17,189 charged to the Capital One account the doctor set up for them. They had no idea, going in, that they would spend that kind of money.
Piedra closed hundreds of patients this way, signing them up for extensive treatment packages that generated millions. When patients wanted out and asked for a refund, many got the runaround.
But Piedra always seemed to have money for his favorite cause: the Church of Scientology.
From 2005 to 2008, court records show, Piedra's practice transferred $715,364 to several Scientology entities, including the church's spiritual headquarters in Clearwater.
A partial tally:
• Nearly $150,000 to the Scientology church in Kansas City.
• $121,500 to the International Association of Scientologists, which funds the church's social campaigns and legal actions.
• $55,000 to the Scientology entity raising money to complete the mammoth "Super Power" building in downtown Clearwater.
• $83,000 to the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises, a nonprofit corporation that helps businesses put Scientology principles to work.
Piedra's contributions helped land him in bankruptcy, owing $3.9 million to a long list of creditors. A lawsuit in Miami alleges that Scientology groups played a key role in his downfall.
Bankruptcy trustee Barry Mukamal contends Piedra schemed "to defraud patients in order to transfer large sums of money" to the Church of Scientology and related groups.
Involved, Mukamal alleges, were nine Scientology-related entities, three church members and a Pinellas County management training firm run by Scientologists. He sued them all, seeking to recover the thousands they got from Piedra.
Scientology denies any involvement.
The Scientology defendants "are innocent third parties drawn into a controversy they did not create," church spokesman Tommy Davis said. He said the church didn't manage Piedra's practice and isn't responsible for how he handled his creditors.
Piedra, 41, declined to be interviewed or answer written questions, citing advice from his lawyer.
In a hard-fought settlement expected to be approved this month, the church will pay $350,000 to make the case go away for the Scientology defendants. It has agreed to do so on the condition that the judge bar Piedra's creditors or other parties to the suit from suing the Scientology entities.

Church of Scientology spokesman Tommy Davis said neither the church nor any of its related entities were involved in any way in the management of Dr. Rene Piedra's former dental practice.

Scientology also denies the bankruptcy trustee's allegations that Piedra and various church entities schemed to defraud patients while transferring $715,364 in patient payments to the church.

The Times asked the church to comment on the actions of Piedra and his staff. Spokesman Davis responded:

"The Church had nothing to do with the conduct of his financial matters. The Church of course does not condone any deceptive financial practices and such practices are considered by the Church to be unethical behavior. The Church is not privy to the facts of Dr. Piedra's matter.

''It is not the practice of Scientologists, and is anathema to Church teachings, for anyone to defraud another individual or engage in unethical personal or business activities.

"Such behavior is frowned upon by the Church and if known about would affect an individual's standing in the Church if no action was taken to remedy the matter and correct any wrongs committed.

"If an individual Scientologist were discovered to have done anything illegal the individual would be encouraged to report the matter to the proper authorities and if he/she failed to do so the Church would bring the matter to the attention of said authorities. This is Church policy.''

In the last few months, I have perfected several surefire ways to get staff off of the Int Base. I have distilled all of these actions into one complete list.

So far I have managed to get 3 people from the Int base from outside the Int Base using these methods.

The best thing about the Int base is that they are VERY predictable and they have an INSANE AMOUNT OF INFORMATION LEAKS. All items I have tried, I have been able to get feedback from the Base and tweak until perfect.

The other thing is that most of the government or city offices you will contact are relatively small and multiple cases of missing persons at one facility strikes a chord there. They will be more willing to assist you knowing that there are similar cases and that you are not related to the other callers in anyway.

Considering all these points, we can get people out one by one. Here is what you can do:

1. Call the Int Base and ask for the person you are trying to reach.

2. Write to the person and ask them to phone you and tell you where they are. Ensure to ask about whether or not they are happy or being held against their will. Keep a copy of the letter.

3. Call the Int Base again and ask for the person you are trying to reach.

6. If after all of the above, you have not spoken with the person and still intend to get a hold of them, go to Step 7

14. Call the Int Base again and inform them that you have done all of the above steps. Take the time to explain in detail that you have done all of the above steps and you will continue to write to people and contact the local authorities until they produce your relative or family member. Make sure that you tell them that you have filed verbal and written reports with several law enforcement agencies, federal authorities and that you intend to find your relative or friend. Explain to them that you have written to them multiple times as well as phoned and even though you know the person is there, you cannot get a hold of them. Let them know that you are aware that their mail is being opened & read and that their phone calls out are being limited and when they are able to call out someone is on the other end listening in.

Here is the best part, due to all of the attention that you have drawn to this staff member, they are now a “threat” to the Int Base AND THE CHURCH ITSELF!!!! Believe it or not, by your above actions, you have now caused them to NOT BE QUALIFIED TO BE AT THE INT BASE! They have to be gotten rid of – and quickly. They WILL BE OFFLOADED FROM THE INT BASE and sent to live somewhere well away from the Int base.

If you have created enough of a stir, they will also NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER A LOCAL SCIENTOLOGY CHURCH or attend Church services in any way. They are not only PTS now, but a legal threat to have at a Church.

This same exact process can be used at any level of the Church and you will be able to get any staff member you want expelled from the Church and back into your family again!

“How will they get a hold of me?” you ask.

Buy a domain name that is their name. Example: www.marcyager.com
Simply list your email or contact info on the site and once they are out and get on the Internet, they will do the thing that every church staff member does once they get out and get on the Internet, they will Google themselves and end up on a site that is their name.

Make sure that every member of your family anywhere has all of your latest contact info. Make sure that you let all of them know that if they get any calls from the person you are trying to get a hold of that you need to know.

If you have other family that are also trying to get this person out, have them do all of the above steps as well. Multiple people doing the same thing will make the process go faster, much faster.

Or you can post their name on Operation Clambake and tell them to email you, or, or, or. One way or another, the person is going to know that you have been trying to get a hold of them and once they are out, chances are that they will contact you in some way.

As people leave or blow from the Int Base, the list will be updated with the latest blows or offloads.
If you see your family member on the list and see that they are out, you can start trying to track them down outside of the Church. In most cases they will at least contact some family members with their new freedom and you will be able to get in touch with them.

This works every time. It takes persistence and dedication. If you want to save this person from additional years of “musical chairs” you will take the time to let people know you think they are being held there against their will.

With more and more reports being filed and local law enforcement being contacted regarding these people, they will have no choice but to let these people go and get them off of the premises.

Look at it this way, once they are offloaded from the church, you will have saved them from years of pain and heartache and gotten them worlds closer to living their life without the fear, torture and constant stress. They will have you to thank for getting them there and THEY WILL THANK YOU!

Try it, it works.

MICHEL - CANCER AND SUICIDE ON SOLO NOTS
Hello! This thread is to answer Tommy Davis’s glibness.

I met Tommy during my second EPF in the Sea Org (actually a 2 months Boot Camp type of EPF), he was eating beans and rice every day, washing our clothes, doing the worst MEST work you can imagine, doing pumps up for hours...because he fucked up a "VIP" cycle.

At that time he wasn’t so proud to be a Sea Org Member, I can tell you.

Now, let’s talk about cancer and suicide on Solo Nots. Here are some data for you guys.

There is a tag status for each Solo Nots auditor:

Green tag: audit 4 to 6 sessions daily and comes on time for his 6 months check.

Grey tag: audit less than 4 sessions daily and doesn't come on time for his 6 month check.

Orange tag: Not allowed to solo audit because of out ethics situation.

Purple tag: Not allowed to audit because of illness or sickness.

Black tag: Disaffected with the church.

See the way it works? One starts the level with a Green tag then, depending on his "ability to be Cause over Life" one keeps his Green tag or, follow the dwindling spiral to Black tag.

There are about 5,300 Solo Nots Auditors worldwide and about(depending on their current status):

1,000 Green tags
1,100 Grey tags
900 Orange tags
800 Purple tags
1,500 Black tags

The 10,000 on Solo Nots is just a dream. There is only 1,000 of them auditing regularly.

I was Solo Nots D of P Europe and i personally met the following Solo Nots Auditors. They were all with advanced cancer:

Before I blew the Sea Org in November 2006,two of them died of committed suicide; Jo R. and Beppe G.

I don’t know if the other ones are still alive.

The majority of the 800 Purple tags and 1,500 Black tags are with cancer, HIV, diabetes and non optimum physical conditions.

The majority of the 900 Orange tags committed financial irregularities to be able to “pay for services and/or donations” to the Cult.

Rex Fowler is a typical Orange tag product of the Cult.

You all know the PTS/SP tech “theory”, right?

How many of them had to disconnect from their family and friends because they where the ”SP”?

Why, after an entire bridge people are still sick, ill, criminal, commit suicide, etc..?

Maybe they didn’t find the real SP yet..... or, if they did, they invalidated the read.

At one point every body on Solo Nots had to do or re do the PTS/SP Course GAT.

And the SNR C/S FSO Richard Reiss (pushed by RTC, of course) was constantly harrassing the Solo Nots C/S "because they didn't apply the PTS tech at 100%" during their C/Sing.

Well, a cancerous tumor is not detectable by a SN C/S as far as i know!

I can attest! Beppe G. had a cancerous tumor the size of an egg in his brain while at Flag to "Attest to OT7"! I went with him to the Clearwater Hospital. He was sent back to Italy right away by RTC....

Imagine the Flap if Beppe died in the middle of the Solo Nots HGC!

These data should be widely disseminated. It’ s not a joke. These guys are really in danger.

PS: the medical associations should be aware of this data. Scientology technology doesn't cure cancer....when a cancer isn't detected on time, it's too late. Unfortunalely, from a Scientologist view point, a doctor is considered a charlatan.

Thank you very much Roger, I will undertake all of this processing on myself immediately.

Just for an example, when I start to massage someone, I always seem to zero in on the exact spot on the person's neck and shoulders on which to press with my fingers and thumbs to get the optimum start to the session.

Last night, I audited Mike, who is Edey's new boyfriend. He asked in wonderment, "How do you know which spot to press?" He said further, "I have had a lot of professional massages and the masseurs technique is always good but they miss many of the sports which need attention. With you, so far you have gone precisely to every spot which I had my attention on and to no other spots. How are you able to do that?" I told him, "I don't know, I just have that ability". Looking at it in context, I think I am picking up his intentions as to where he would like to be massaged and am somehow drawn to those and only those exact spots.

Edey called me the day before. She was trying to take a nap to prepare herself for an evening out. She finds it very difficult to shut down her mind and just relax. She always feels she must make use of the time and be doing something. This state of affairs is leading her to exhaustion. She asked if I could handle this over the phone.

"I didn't really know what to do, but I told her that I would give it a try." I asked her if she could just meditate. She says that meditation helps a little but is not able to turn off the random thoughts stirring in her mind. I asked her what she would call her restless mind constantly telling her there are chores to be done. We came up with it being a "compulsion", "The compulsioin that she must stay active". I suggested to her that we had to get rid of this compulsion. She agreed and asked me to help her get rid of it.

I really had no idea how to do this but again I just imporvised. It came down to restless energy appearing whenever she tried to relax. I asked her what percentage of the time did she want to act on the energy and do chores and what percentage did she want to relax and ignore the energy. She said she wanted to do the chores 70% of the time and relax 30% of the time. I asked her if she could ignore the energy 30% of the time and just relax and she said "No, she was not capable of that." I then made up a little process. "How could ignoring the energy 30% of the time be helpful" How could ignoring the energy 30% of the time be harmful. I ran this for a while and she had a cognition.

Her cognition was that if she ignored the energy 30% of the time, she would actually get more done because she would be totally refreshed and could work at twice the efficiciency of when she was tired. Thus by only working 70% of the time, she could get 140% as many chores done as if she worked tired 100 percent of the time. Once she became aware of this cognition, she felt she was at cause over her problem and would now be able to take naps. I acknowledged her big win and told her I had to go and hung up. Most of her chores concern getting things done which she believes will help her friends and clients. Being able to do more of what she really wants to do by napping made sense to her analytically to such a degree that she was able to spot the compulsion as being based on false data and get control over it.

I don't know if this is correct tech or not. However, I was asked to help her release a compulsion on the spur of the moment over the telephone. I decided that I could improvise a patch work solution to her problem, spent about 15 to 20 minutes running her on it over the phone and she considered that her problem was solved. I was never trained in this and just improvised it. It is what it is but in her mind, I was a hero, a real savior for her and she let me know in no uncertain terms how grateful she was to me and what she thought of me as a person. To manufacture a patchwork process on someone in 15 minutes and handle a problem for them over the phone is a real "ability" in my opinion.
