I did not appreciate his evaluation of my case and he was very irritated with me that I would not go to the seminar and he would eat the full $750 for the unused ticket. He attended the seminar in November and never posted on ESMB again plus he dropped me as a friend completely.

I wish Blue good luck in his venture to become rich through flipping condos and also in his auditing with Johnny which apparently has continue uninterrupted these many months.

It is good to bring things out in the air, particularly if it is true what you are saying here...I am sure that John will not mind...since he was a guest speaker at the last convention...so yes, tell everything about it...there are too many psychos out there gossiping behind people's backs slandering and libelling. And they there is no way to stop them..they do because they are evil and they can...:coolwink:

It is all well and good to express an opinion.

By what basic prime thoughts or experiences did you work to form that opinion?

The people spoken about may not like these comments aired publically.
May even disagree.

Opinions about politics, religion, and scientific or other knowledge
are valid if often controversial.

Opinions about other people come under the heading of gossip.

Not that gossip is always bad or even bad intentioned. It can be well
intentioned and good news.

The line may be fine but I think it was stepped over.

Thanks a lot for letting us know your position Terril. I pretty well align with your points of view on all of this.

[Note: the first two sentences are rhetorical. No need to answer.:)]

Do you really think that Scientology tech, which is the collected instructions and know-how of Hubbard to Scientologists, is benign in nature ?

Do you really think that Hubbard made a "continual search for better results and ideas re. the (supposedly benign) tech that lasted at least 30 years" ?

Scientology has been placing on display the "nice" (sanitized and air-brushed) pieces of itself to be admired as the "tech" for many years.

But the "tech" is not just the "nice" part. (Which of course you know.)

Note to any Scientology PRs: The "Hubbard, the flawed genius who spent a half century (counting from 1938ish) [for "wogs," insert best wording for a beneficent or Humanitarian endeavor; for some Scientologists and for some Ex-Scientologists, this can be shortened to 'tech'] ", may be the best fall-back LRH PR line.

The "flawed genius" is an extension of the oft used "LRH was just a man, and said so," etc. line, and elevates Hubbard to "genius." This leaves the "wogs" to argue over whether or not Hubbard was a genius, and places the "flaws" in the background, while the "at least 30 years" - or [alternate] "half a century," pursuing humanitarian work [or suitable replacement word or description], makes dwelling (or seeming to dwell) on the "flaws" appear petty and churlish.

Further note: Some additional dwelling on "flaws of LRH," etc. may be necessary, for ex-Scientology "public," to be "acceptable."

It's a sobering thought that, as some have suggested, Scientology's main problem (after Miscavige) is incompetent marketing.

Is it really a PR world?

I hope not.

There will be no follow up post. This is just a one time comment.

I prefer to call him "Part madman, part genius. He was never a Scientologist himself but always a Crowleyite. And don't ever discount the "genius" bit, for there is much of value that he did in that state."

Dunno why you have problems about that.

You stated you delivered LRH tech to good results.

You denying this now?

Yes, Facey. Life is grand.

It's that zone right above Death that really sucks. Fortunately, it's the little things like friends, good conversation, cinnamon coffee, and a beautiful day that keeps most of us chuggin' right along.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Its my opinion that such a discussion of other peoples life on a public forum
is an invasion of privacy. Less they gave permission

I went ahead and posted it because it was a discussion of my life just as much as his but I had doubts about posting it.

Reading your comment and reflecting on this further, I believe you are correct about it being a private matter. I will erase my original post commenting on Blue's life. Will you please erase your copy of it since I am powerless to erase that.

I will erase only the part on how and why our friendship broke up but not my comments about channeling. Blue was very open about his channeling experiences and posted about them often when he was posting on this thread. This was never a private issue with him but the disagreements and break up with me probably was something he would like to keep private.

Fine post. I have only one slight disagreement with you.

Just to clarify some points here:
Aida stopped me several times when I said anything the slightest bit negative about LRH and told me to phrase my comment in a more positive way. She has a very positive view of LRH, MSH and all the Hubbard family.

***No, I did not, I actually ask you to tell your impressions...if you watch at 4:35 I believe I ask you...I reviewed the interview and I didn't stop you at all.

My one disagreement. I cite below that there were 3 stoppages. It is possible that on the one you mention, I was at a loss for words and you stopped me only to tell me to give my impressions. On the other two, I believe I used some phrasing that you found in poor taste and you stopped me and asked me to alter my phrasing. I had no problem complying with your request. You did not in any way stifle my freedom to speak my mind!

I heard her story of why she left the C of S and basically it concerns the fact that C of S was not following standard Hubbard management tech.

*****Yes, that is the reason, what is so wrong with that? I was not kicked out I LEFT...unlike other Class VIIIs or XIIs who waited until the Church dispensed with them. I lost A LOT for personal integrity because I moved to this country to be an auditor as a profession, which I had been for the last 20 years. I did not like the way the SO was set up and how the staff treated each other like cannibals. I finally had enough and left, loud and clear with a bang! Not quietly trying to "save my field practice" or "afraid to lose my friends" my integrity was first. Nothing really bad happened to me while I was in.

Who said there is anything wrong with that? Certainly not me! I greatly admire you for leaving on your own. I don't know who said that you were kicked out, not me! I say right above that I heard the story of why you left, not why you were kicked out. Your integrity in leaving the way you did was exemplary. I admire you greatly for both your integrity plus the courage which you showed.

Also, there is her attractive set of videos comparing the older LRH books with the newer altered books of the DM regime and she treats the LRH books as the Gospel so to speak.

***I studied 5 years of Law before Scientology...I did the approach as if I was in a court of law that this organization was deceiving people thinking that they were getting one thing when they were getting something else. When I studied law I was taught that the Constitution was a Gospel sort of speak and that in order to resolve a legal case you have to apply the law, I saw Scientology with the same approach.

I was presenting the videos with facts, for those who were still in to look for themselves.

Yes, you did an exemplary job presenting those videos. I complimented you strongly at the start of the interview and have always admired you for the professional manner in which you created and presented those videos.

If "Aida is standard in her approach to auditing tech", and she left C of S because management tech was not being followed per LRH policy then she fits into the category which I described and you referred to as an "LRH loyalist".

****Yes, in a way I am LRH loyalist, but not blidnfolded...that doesn't take away that he was a human being who lied and did a lot of incorrect things...and here is my more inner thoughts...it took me a lot to fogive him for the lies...thanks critics of ESMB for telling it as it is...but again...I always used common sense before being a blindfolded "loyalist". Maybe that is why nothing happened to me while I was in...actually I have been more offended while in the FZ.

I share your sentiments about the tech very closely. I know you use common sense and are not a blind "loyalist" In your above sentence do you mean critics of ESMB or critics on ESMB? I believe you mean the second choice.

I like some of the tech and I still used it...as always with a lot of common sense and personal ethics....

Diana - I like some of the tech too and I also still use it...as always with a lot of common sense and personal ethics. You are more highly trained in the tech than I and I respect you for your approach in applying the tech. I made some comments in blue print to various statements of yours.

I agree with everything you say except one minor point. That point concerns the video recording being halted 3 times to ask me to rephrase what I said. I just watched the video again closely and noted the 3 times when there is a break in it and a restart.

Break #1 was at 2:19. I had just finished telling you where the ship was located. Next I talk about the Flag Case Completions receiving auditing onboard the Apollo. Between those 2 points you asked me a question and I began answering it and you stopped the recording. You hatted me in a very pleasant way just to tell me what was needed and wanted from you.

Break #2 was at 4:29 - I had just finished talking about my trip to the Mateus winery and you asked me "What was Ron like?" I began to answer and you stopped the recording to point out something. Maybe I was tongue tied or at a loss for words. Maybe you just told me to give my impressions, I really do not remember. We restarted and I continued talking.

Break #3 was at 5:08 - I said something about us lugging sides of beef right past Ron's office and made a comment of some sort that was a bit objectionable to you and you stopped the recording. We restarted and I left off whatever it was you found objectionable.

I WAS TOTALLY OK WITH ALL THREE STOPPAGES. IT WAS YOUR HOUSE AND YOUR EVENT. I HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT SORTS OF THINGS COULD BE SAID OR COULD NOT BE SAID IN THIS FORUM. You stopped me in a courteous manner and explained to me either to just give my impressions or to point out something that I said was not appropriate to the interview and suggested that I rephrase it. You did not prevent me from speaking my mind in any way but just wanted things rephrased. I was happy to comply. Based on these 3 stoppages, I got the concept that you were very fond of LRH and his family and only wanted to present the positive side of them in this particular interview meant for a certain particular public. I was happy to comply. I never felt you were censoring me or inhibiting what I could say!

Earlier, on this thread, I made an innocent statement that some people on this thread agreed with all of LRH's tech and attempted to apply it standardly. Mark Baker attacked my claim and challenged me to name even one such person. From those practitioners which I knew of that were quite loyal to LRH I selected you and a couple of others. This does not mean that you blindly followed LRH or consider he never told any lies or made any mistakes. I never intended to imply that. I stand by my choice to consider you an LRH loyalist. You have said that yourself in your quoted post. I never suggested that you were a "blind" LRH loyalist.

Hi Gary. I saw the old pictures of you and Candy on facebook but I did not see the last night you mentioned. I must have to request friendship to see the recent exes gathering. Often only some of the photos are marked for public view. I will send a friend request. :D

Right on, Hats. I had assumed that you had made friends with Candy on Facebook. My God, she has over 1,400 friends but if you haven't, you can't view the most recent albums.

HATS AND FELLOW THREAD MEMBERS - COGNITION ON WHY I CURRENTLY HAVE SO MANY PLATONIC FEMALE FRIENDS.

I was just talking to Candy a couple of days ago and she was saying that she believes that everyone we marry or have a serious affair with in this life was someone we knew in past lives. This was not in session but we were just talking.

Suddenly I had a cognition on why it was that I have so many Platonic women friends. I am up to 5 such friends and may have met a 6th! I have Edey, LH, Candy, my ex wife (now a very close Platonic friend), my old opera singing waitress whom I dated in the late 70's and that makes 5. In addition, I had a date with someone who is part of our new seminars group which we are forming and she would be number 6.

The cognition is that I am proceeding to clean up my lines with all these women, get off all withholds, help them in any way I can and have very clean communication lines with all of them. I believe that I once had marriages or serious affairs with all of these people in past lives, except Candy, and that either I or my body or a combination of both is cleaning up my affairs with them so that if and when I meet them in future lives, my flows with them will be very clean and have no bad residual from my current life so that further affairs and/or marriages will be possible.

How's that for a cognition?

For those interested in soul relationships across lives:

Description by a channelling friend:
"Timothy Hutton dies while rescuing some drowning children, and is greeted in Heaven by familiar faces of his past. As he acclimates to Heaven, and learns about the way things work, including how reincarnation works, he meets Kelly McGillis who has never been born before. They fall in love and start to build a life there, but then it comes time for Kelly to be born. She is gone before Tim realizes it.
Tim makes a plea to the representative of god, a gruff androgynous character, to be born again, too so he can be with her. The representative explains that that's not how it works. He can't just put them together. So he begrudgingly arranges for Tim to be born, but it's up to Tim to grow up, remember, and find Kelly again on his own. And he only has until he is 30 years old to do so.
It sounds like a cheesy, silly set up, but the execution of it, the epic character development, and the aching, painful sense of knowing, but not remembering, that is compelling the characters are just mesmerizing, moving, and familiar. It even includes the concept of a Life Task that we choose, and then try to remember, and see how it shows up in our lives."

It may or may not have a basis in fact, but as a thesis on relationships it is very workable.
