I am very mindful of this!
Roger, I am really mindful of your well intended admonition to me. After Face complained, I did find a clause where I attributed something to him which he did not really say. I immediately apologized and rewrote the clause as my own statement and posted it on the Shooting Stars thread with a link to my apology posted on this thread.
Yes, your last paragraph says it all, "evaluation, wrong item, etc.". I really try hard to avoid doing this to posters. I assure you that it was not done intentionally.
I misinterpreted something in his recent post and either never got or no longer remembered things on this topic which he has said repeatedly in earlier posts. That is the how and why of my faux pas. I am really going to make sure something like this does not happen again.

Yes, it's best to give one's own view and opinion . . . not to try and "explain" or restate what another's view or opinion is "in your view" . . . .It gets very spinny when that last thing is attempted
And it's easy to piss friends off by trying to say what they are saying/thinking when it is not what they're saying/thinking.
It comes under the heading of: (mis)evaluation, wrong item, wrong indication, and even invalidation of the truth of the earlier statement.
