Re: Perpetual Motion Engine!?

:eyeroll: More b#llsh!t from lakey.

First: a google search readily reports attempts at marketing this device as a scam to glean money from the gullible.

Secondly: the description you offered of a 'working perpetual motion machine' which 'defies the conservation of energy' (actually the conservation of mass & energy, since neither alone is necessarily conserved) conflicts with the inventor's own description of the device as deriving it's energy from the permanent magnets in the device which in turn lose their effectiveness with time (in accordance with the law of conservation). :eyeroll:

Stick to topics you know something about, lakey. Admittedly that would prove limiting.

Thank you. Your post was enlightening !

I just heard about the topic for the first time at the party yesterday. I made that clear in my post. BH told me about it and I was skeptical. He suggested that I Googol it to check it out and I did.

Admitting that I know nothing about it, I put it up here for discussion and feed back from "experts" such as yourself. The information contained in the video is not my own but is a demonstration of the principles which are being claimed for the motor.

As I understand it, a generator can be plugged in and attached to the hojo motor and power from the generator gets the hojo motor going. The hojo motor can operate comfortably at 3000 rpm but additional magnets can be place in the collar fitted around the motor to get the rpm up to 15,000 and even 30.000 rpm - however, the motor is not designed to run at such speeds will burn quickly if after a short time when operated at such high rpm. My understanding is that the motor draws only one amp of current when run at 3,000 rpm and still draws only 1 amp when run at 30,000 rpm. This seems to suggest that more power is achieved without any additional usage of current.

I did not read anything stating that the inventor admitted that the qualities of the magnets deteriorated over time. This would explain, at least in part, how such a motor would be possible. It would be enlightening to get the stats on what qualities of the magnets deteriorate and how long they take to deteriorate and how much effort, cost and time would be required to restore them to their original condition.

Even more interesting is that once the generator is unplugged and turned off, the hojo motor will continue to run indefinitely unless it is switched off. Sure, there are magnets involved but simply placing additional magnets on a collar around the motor would not be expected to cause a motor to spin 5 or 10 times faster than it was previously spinning and if it did so, one would expect that more current would be generated by the motor to get the drill to spin 10 times faster and yet the meter reveals that the motor still draws only 1 amp at both speeds.

Also amaizing is that the generator is connected directly to the motor and none of the current put out by the generator is being stored in a battery. Since there is no battery, one would expect the motor to immediately come to a stop when the plug is pulled on the generator but instead, the motor keeps on spinning indefinitely. it is this characteristic which simulates the characteristics of a perpetual motion machine and also which is so pertinent when it comes to
using this type of motor in powering a home or an automobile.

The magnets deteriorating offer a way out of calling the motor a perpetual motion machine but very much leave the door open to the possibility that the invention of the hojo motor may lead to an enormous energy breakthrough for this planet.

I believe these two points stink. They are trite and convey no information. Why would someone bother going to the trouble of posting these two "posts"?

Mark A. Baker

Also, I believe that only an extreme blowhard and arrogant and pedantic person as MAB would admonish my post as he did in the phrase above which I highlighted in blue.

I come across interesting topics, mention where I got them and put them up for discussion on the board and if I just heard about a topic or don't know much about it, I mention that fact. I am looking for an actual discussion and exchange of ideas and readily admit that I am hoping to learn something.

MAB falls into the class of a know-it-all who lectures down to others. He is EXTREMELY pedantic and I can't recall a time when he ever thanked anyone for one of their posts or ever admitted that he learned something new or ever changed one of his opinions.

Another brilliant utterance by MAB was that the last Conservative politician who was not completely insane was the late William F. Buckley. Here he wrote off 50% of the population of the USA as being insane as well as about 50% of Congress.

People such as MAB make some very good posts and also a lot of duds like the three which I mentioned above. Their main impetus seems to be to act pompous and be pedantic and assert their beliefs and theories as being truths.

Actually, if I wrote a lot of bullshit and had a very limited range of topics on which I was qualified to write about, no one would bother to read the threads which I started. The stats reveal the truth of the matter. Carmelo and I are the co- creators of this thread. Early this morning we passed 800,000 hits.

There are a lot of lurkers reading the thread at night. My stats as an OP are out the roof. No other thread on ESMB has come anywhere close to doing what Carmelo and I have achieved with this thread.

My natural tendency is to be modest and low key but I am sick and tired of being attacked by pompous blowhards such as MAB. There are a lot of excellent threads on ESMB and a lot of very intelligent and gifted people posting and starting threads here. ESMB offers lots of choices of fine materials to read and discuss. If I was a bullshit artist and had few subjects to write about, as MAB suggests, nobody would stay with this thread and new people would not be coming aboard continuously. :eyeroll: Those are just the facts.

Seems the main "facts" of the post were a long winded ad hom attack on MAB.
I hope you manage to get away with that !

While your "stats as an OP are out the roof " ESMB while very important in taking up the topic of $cn is a very small slice of life on this planet. There are other chatboxes where threads long ago exceeded ONE QUARTER OF A MILLION POSTS.

But, you see yourself as the BIG FROG however you need to consider that although ESMB is an important pond by 'net standards it is - by nature - rather small.

And in the post I quoted it seems that as the OP by attacking posters you might be driving off your best posters & thereby killing your thread. ( Look how many have already left here vowing to never post again[ well except to correct your altered view of events])

Figure out why this thread has s - l - o - w - e - d down yet ?

Do you derive some sort of pleasure out of putting others down?

'tis a reply in kind & yes I will absolutely go tit for tat in posts particularly those who think they have oderless poo-poo.

I several times said I was ready to leave this thread & Lakey had to take his parting shot after that. After 3 tries I decided to stick around & have fun every once in awhile.

Surely you can see what MAB accurately pointed out is a long standing habit of the poster he called out on that sillyness?

Old age ? Ya missed on that one, too.
I assure you I'm one of the older aged posters ( not the oldest but older than Lakey ) on ESMB. Just like everybody else I deal with short term memory loss - I just don't take a few paragraphs explaining it in self defense of a truely laughable post of my own on ESMB .

You may not see this thread has slowed down & is getting some CPR. OK. Let's check the pulse in a month. I could be wrong.

Re: Another Stolen Article

Hi Ed,

What are you doing here with this post? You quote it with no reason why and also violate the confidence of a private list.

Not only are you betraying Ant but also those who subscribe to that list. I take this as another example of your breakdown in honesty and integrity that I have personally witnessed in the past two years.

What is going on Ed?

I had a session today (Prepcheck, as there has been considerable randomity recently in my own little universe).

Afterwards I came to say to my auditor that I did not feel I had any subjective reality on GPMs or entities.

Dear ESMB reader,

The above quoted article was published here from a private list without permission of the author (me). The poster has been suspended from said private list, until the matter is sorted out.

The quality of the private list is dependent to some degree on its members trusting that material will not be indiscriminately copied.

I'd appreciate it if you would show a little respect to a fellow "FreeScientolgist" (or ExScn if you like) and ask the originator, me, for permission before you send further. My email address is [email protected]

There is more to the thread, which has not come out yet.

All best wishes,

Thanks, Ant,

Getting to ESMB and other email traffic sparsely due to the Olympics, I was rather confused on Carmelo's post as it had no date reference to it and I was left wondering who exactly was the author and when was it in reference to . . . . ???

Like, it was a monster generality of omitted time and source.

I think Mike Hunsaker's comments regarding recent behavior are on the mark . . .

Thanks for your outstanding post and your support FoTi. I believe each of your replies to Toady is spot on!! Its funny that when people manufacture unfounded attacks on others, they are usually describing themselves. Toady talking about senility is a perfect example!!! If he thinks the thread is dying out why does he read it and contribute to it frequently?

I was posting positively about a new type of motor I had just heard about and out of the blue was attacked with cuss words and extremely derogatory remarks against me personally, not the material in my post, by Mark Baker.

If I say something to defend myself, I am accused of having major case phenomena as regards, "making self right". You talk about bullshit, this is really sick stuff. Just think about it, an attack is manufactured out of thin air against the OP of a thread and if he says something in his defense, he is accused of dramatizing his case. This is a set up to trap someone and/or sway opinion against him. If the attacked person just lets it go, he can be presumed guilty for not defending himself and if he defends himself, he is accused of excessive "make self right" and is written off as being senile and dramatizing his case!

I LIKE TO POST NEW AND INTERESTING THINGS WHICH I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT ON THIS THREAD. I'M TRYING TO GET PEOPLE'S OPINIONS SO AS TO GAIN MORE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. There is no harm in putting up a new topic such as the hojo motor for discussion; ditto for the 432 hz musical scale!!! If someone else doesn't like those topics, they should just not respond to them but instead some people, such as Toad and Baker will launch personal attacks! Go figure!

There are those on this thread who don't think a person should post on a subject unless he is an absolute expert on it. TO ME THAT IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT! TO JUST SIT THERE AND PONTIFICATE TO A GROUP OF PEOPLE, ATTEMPTING TO ASSUME A POSITION OF TOTAL AUTHORITY AND TALK DOWN TO OTHERS HAS LIMITED WORKABILITY.

Some would be Savants do know what they are talking about in many areas and listening to them, one is able to pick up some very good information. However, we have all heard it said that the first step in knowing anything is to know that we don't know. When you run into a "know-it-all" who acts as if he knows all there is to know, you have a decision to make. Is what he/she is saying worth enduring their pompous, arrogant and pedantic attitudes. Each of us has to make our own personal decision on that topic.

If one is being attacked personally on a regular basis, a seemingly tough decision becomes very obvious, especially when the alleged "savant" criticizes you if you stand up for your own rights against his/her attacks.

Re: Comment onAttacks by Mark A Baker

... out of the blue was attacked with cuss words and extremely derogatory remarks against me personally, not the material in my post, by Mark Baker. ...

Quite the contrary Lakey. My blue language was directed at the b#llsh!t that you posted. I used no such language about you personally. If you could read and comprehend the english language, you would have understood that. Instead you prefer to make other people's posts 'all about you'. :eyeroll:

What I find offensive are the idiotic & foolish remarks I see you routinely posting on the board. These I regard legitimately as fair game.

On the other hand, I practice considerable restraint in those remarks which I directly address of you.

Here's a simple suggestion: if you don't like being called out for b#llsh!t then don't post b#llsh!t.

As it is, your history is against you. You've been warned on numerous occasions by a variety of individuals since you began posting. Think about it.
