For a moment I thought you meant beans and rice. That's what I was eating 30 years ago at almost precisely this date.

The sea ogre diet is rice and beans, true enough. But then there is the outer org staff diet. That consists of free coffee when available, mooched cigarettes, gas station hot dogs, and nuclear noodles ... that is, those disgusting tasting dried noodles that are made from styrofoam and cardboard, add water and toss in the microwave. Finally, there is the Scientology public diet, once you have been all redged out. That consists of free dougnuts at work, free coffee at work, gas station hot dogs, and lots of happy hour fare ... that is, you go to a bar at happy hour, order a glass of high end mineral water (have to be studentable, you know) and then all the happy hour food you can mooch. Or, you can go to the mall, and walk around in circles in the food court and get fed free samples passed out with toothpicks. The trick is to get there at the right time, just before a shift change. That way you can mooch all the free samples from the offgoing shift and then catch the free samples from the oncoming shift.

Of course, in order to be a true Scientologist, you must maintain a two pack a day cigarette habit without ever buying a pack of your own.

Scientology's public members rarely know about the rice and beans diet of Sea Org members. Even org staff are not always in on that knowledge.

If they knew, they would blow sooner.
