But, a shared bottle of wine ( as I see in that image ) makes many things smoother and brighter.

Did I tell you that once ' The room seemed brighter ' ?

Most scns have not resolved the " clear " thingie. They try so hard to figure on something that was never there, never will be there, but, they'll spend some serious bucks chasing until they " get it " so they can then spend a fortune " fixing " what " clear " had already promised.

Damn, we were funny..............back then.


Some still are ............................ funny.
 
Is Bugtussle a real place then?

I thought it was going to go:

I know a lady from Bugtussle
who got her tits in a hustle
............etc...

(No offence to any Ladies, or Bugtusslelites, or is that Buggtusslonians, or just Buggtusslers? )

I have to find some way to get the word "Bugtussle" into my occassional vocabulary.

I could call Body Thetan auditors "Bugtusslers"

I suppose OT's could use it as a shore story when they have to take time off
from their job to go to Flag for more mind scrambling.

Boss: "So you want 2 months leave of absence to do what?"
Scientologist employee: "Oh I just have to go to Bugtussle for religious reasons."

Bug Tussle is as real a place as clear is a real state.
So in other words I lifted it, in classic L. Ron style, from the 60's sitcoms - Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction and Green Acres.
Seems to describe the little town we settled in...
But the Clampett's Beverly Hills mansion is a real place, just that it sits on a postage stamp sized lot and is not part of a sprawling estate.

Bugtussle is a real little town located in TN. Check your map. It is a real place and you can go there.

On the other hand, the " state " of clear exists only in the imagination of the severly deluded.

There is a Bugtussle, TN. But, " clear ", nah... it was just a joke.

I'm actually right down the pike from one of those, no one would recognize the name of our closest town, Gum Tree - hence Dagwood Gum, so I always say Bugtussle though we're closer to Flippin. We own property and spend part of the year in Banner Elk, NC but few people have heard of that either.

I once went to East Bumfuck, Egypt. It is on the other side of nowhere.

Here and there are some odd names :)

You mention Egypt. My Colombian wife thought she and her family were from pure Castilian Spanish stock, a common delusion amongst Hispanics. I told her that the odds are that she's of mostly middle eastern stock from the Ottoman Empire and the Moorish invasions when they took over the Mediterranean region of Europe for a thousand or so years so I bought her a DNA test kit from DNA Tribes.com and she discovered that her family is mostly Egyptian with adjunct Pakistani, Kurk, Turk, Ethiopian etc. Her ancestors apparently converted to Catholicism during the Spanish Inquisition and are now as fervent of Catholics as they formerly were fervent Muslims. I can't think of Egypt without being reminded of this now. Her family was so pissed at me for finding this out, but only now are they getting over it and beginning to embrace and reference Allah from time to time. A growing number of Hispanics have reverted to Islam in recent years.
