Thanks Zhent, you're a legend, we don't get TT in the bush.

Well, all I can say is doesn't Carmel speak well!:whistling: She came across very nicely.

Well done to Bryan Seymour, great celebratory piece!

Wow! Amazing! It's better than I thought it could possibly be!

I hope Carmel and the other Aussie exes who contributed feel a huge amount of accomplishment.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :happydance::happydance::happydance:

Well....

I finally got home, ate dinner, got onto the net and saw the segment. :D:D:D

This is the result of a whole bunch of people working incredibly hard to get a stellar result against a multi-billion dollar organization - it is just incredible what's been done here and I'm still stunned by the scope of it.:omg:

I've had phone calls and text messages (while on the train for over two hours) all the way home from people who saw it long before I got home and they're all saying the same thing - and it's not looking good for OSA.:whistling:

Thanks to all those who helped achieve this - you know who you are. :coolwink:

My friends.:yes:

It was a privilege to have somehow been the spokesperson this afternoon for so many great people who've worked for this moment.:thumbsup:

I salute you:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

I know all you Aussies are congratulating yourselves - and so you should - yet can I just mention one Kiwi who had a minor yet sgnificant role to play in this: Mike Ferris. His testimoney before the Senate enquiry confirmed without a doubt that a public benefit test is not detrimental to the charitable works of bona fide organisations and, further, that other, dodgy organisations have been able to disappear millions of dollars and, thus, highlight their own malfeasance. Thanks Mike - you winrar. ; )

Nah - but seriously: thank you, thank you, thank you

Great work to all the Team who worked so hard for such a great result, :happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:

Many thanks :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Just thinking.....

wouldn't it be great if there was a Government Department who would see to it you got a refund ........after being ripped off for many thousands of dollars by a cult...........

What a brilliant report. Succinct, factual and to the point.

But more important in my book is what this accomplishment by our Ozzie hero exies and Senator Xenophon and the whole Ozzie conduct of this affair demonstrated . . . . it shows honest government can work when honest and decent citizens get active and speak up.

This is true "government for the people by the people" with a responsive, open and honest system that allows for self correction . . . not like what I see here in the USA where "behind the doors deals" are the system to allow loopholes and connivance in favor of those who spend the biggest $$$'s.

Well done the Ozzies!

This victory is Carmel's, she was the dog with the bone.

Without her determination, fighting spirit and her single mindedness this inquiry would not have happened, ever.

Well done Carmy, enjoy it.

Great report, Bryan!

And thanks for capturing it and Vimeoing it, Zhent.

I'm going to bed happy tonight.

Lest we forget - to keep the karma bitch barking after Mike.....

Mike Ferris, as you say, was Kha Khan once again in putting The Church of Scientology squarely into the dung heap of PTSness to those who will remove the tax-free status from the cult. And in making the culties look like fucking idiots instead of the truly OT beings (cough cough) they truly are.

And being the true SP that he is, Mike has ensured there is no one who can replace him in NZ, thereby allowing him to continue the destruction.

I wonder ....

... does the "tek" on motivators apply when the cofs pulls one in ... especially when it is a sodding great big one like this?

Carmel, Cherished, Feral and Scoots ... Liz and James and all who helped, you are brilliant!

OH MY GOSH! I can't tell you the emotional reaction I had to that clip. That is so incredibly validating! I am in awe of you Aussie heroes who had the courage and the fortitude to make this happen!

They didn't even hedge, they didn't qualify, they didn't do anything to appease the CofS. The media is no longer afraid of them!! This is a very very good day!!!

Thank you thank you thank you exes of Oz!!

Kudos

What a great and brave job accomplished by the Aussies. Tough bunch you all are, HFU to confront and tackle the cult! They're down for the count! Great job! :thumbsup:

Now, to spread this northward! Any Canadian here who wants to tackle the clams can pm me. I'm ready. After recent personal family events (not much to lose, everything to gain by doing the right thing) I'm ready to do the right thing and help close the criminal cult here in the Great White North. :yes:

I think I'm going to see a lawyer about back pay. Let's see... 2 tears of 90 hours a week for an average of a penny an hour, 35 years ago, plus interest... hmmmm. I should have left back them but I couldn't: they controlled my life, my friends and me with the criminally indoctrinating policies of hubbard. :no:

If the Aussies can do it, we can do it. :yes: :thumbsup:

What a wonderful day! A huge pat on the back to everyone involved - and that includes all our internationals who sent in submissions and those who actually travelled to Canberra to speak or, in Larry's case, made themselves available in the early hours. Thanks so much. It was terrific to see all the 'old' faces (lol) - Paul's beard is slightly longer and wilder - :D

Good job today, Scoots.

Nice of you to say it, Kev. And it's true that Carmel was the engine that got everyone moving. She'd be the first to acknowledge that she couldn't have done it alone. So, kudos to you and Scooter and James and Janette and, well, all round. In fact, the next round of drinks is on me, bartender!

I almost wanted to celebrate with alcohol too - but settled for a large block of chocolate with my wife in front of the tv.:D

Yep, Carmel was the "dog with the bone" who organized the herd of cats into some sort of group and did all the "networking" that set it all up. She deserves a lot of credit for all this today.:yes:

It's been a huge team effort with so many people doing their bit, large or small, noticed or un-noticed, that it would be almost impossible to thank everyone involved.

How's the floor under your desk tonight, OSAspawn?:whistling:

Gonna be sleeping a few nights there while you're trying to get the stats up again, I fear. Or you could just join the "winning team" and come party with us.:happydance:

We're the "real OTs." :hysterical:
