I hate to tell ya', but most of the world does work this way.

They just don't brag about it.

After I left the Sea Org I got a job and they paid me a lot of money. I got married and had a son and we didn't have to abort him. I have taken many vacations to really cool places and I did not have to get a replacement before going. If I work more than forty hours a week I get paid overtime. As far as the justice system goes...I haven't had a com ev since I left. I haven't had any traffic tickets or been called to any court of ethics. I prefer it out here in the "wog" world many times over.

No kidding.

I was joking.

When I ran across

" Life is love and love is life ".

And, at that moment I got that nowhere in scientology is there love mentioned, valued, or sought after.

Some love life, some seek to destroy life - and for me it is pretty easy to see where the thrust of scn is, has been & will be.

'nuff said.

Most people on this board don't know what Udarnik means.

You've got to tell them.

I think most people will appreciate it, you hard working comrade!

Well, I was never a member of the Party, but I was (briefly) a member of Komsomol. Back before the Teabaggers took over and I was still a member of the Republican Party, I was probably the only native-born American who had belonged to both.

I was very shocked when my paycheck did not come on time, and I thought, "oh well, I will just get it tomorrow". My husband told me not to go to work!

10 years later and that concept shocked me. I would NEVER not show up for work?!?!?! Or be late for that matter.

------

I worked all the way through my first pregnancy 12 to 15 hours a day on my feet. Sometimes 6 or 7 days per week. Very exhausting, but I kept going.

Until the Dr. ordered me to total bedrest. Preeclampsia. I was in and out of the hospital three times in three weeks before my daughter was born. The whole time I was trying to tell everyone I was fine and did not need ANY rest.

I won't even get into refusing pain medication.... after CSection.

I've had a few good WTF's in the past few weeks. Lots of incomplete things completed themselves.

I got served divorce papers. OMG - FINALLY! WTF woke up my ex?! It's only taken five years for him to finish the paperwork. Must have been in one long drunk stupor, and yet he gives his mother's address (back to living at home? Did she make him do it?)

It was so nice to see the notice, I called the Sheriff's office and thanked him and asked for the earliest convenient time I could be home for him to serve me? We had a nice chat and a bit of a laugh over it over coffee. :)

Then a few days later, I get a notice - my business license has been cancelled from lack of use.

WTF?!?! You're only just doing this now even though I didn't renew? It's only been - what - six years? Okay, good, though.

Then I get the test results back from Emergency on the WTF!?! WHY HAS MY THUMB BLOWN UP ALL OF A SUDDEN AND FEELS LIKE I SPENT THE NIGHT BASHING IT WITH A HAMMER?!?

The doctor had eliminated: nail infection, allergic reaction, arthritis (thank god) and told me it was most likely bursitis caused by a spider bite that had gotten infected.

Oh KAY. Not just any spider bite. Ladies and Gentlemen! (drum roll please...)

I am officially a survivor of a redback spider bite.

WAIT! WTF?! Wasn't that supposed to kill me or something?

No, only if you're a baby or really fragile or super allergic.

I'm a real Aussie now. Do I get a medal or something?

Did you see it? Did you know you got bitten? If not, where do you think this happened?

Oh there were tiny insect bite marks. A Redback spider doesn't leave much of a mark - just a pinprick. They're small.

I was sleeping, woke up with the blown up thumb. The test results confirmed the spider venom.

My clothes hamper is near my bed and I'd been in the yard the day before. It probably got on my clothes and climbed out.

Most people get bit on the extremities, hands and such. Most people don't have a huge reaction, either, apparently.

I didn't find it, but I cleaned everywhere and used my super-duper heavy vacuum cleaner, so I'm sure it's gone.

They thought I broke my thumb - had me in a sling, it was that bad. But x-rays showed I hadn't.

A thousand people get bit by redbacks a year, but it's rare to die from them or even need the antivenom. It kind of weirds me out that there was so much hype about it being such a deadly spider. After about 3 days the pain just... stops, then the swelling starts to recede. Before that, it's excruciating. I'm still on antibiotics, but pretty much over it. Everyone says it takes a week and it's been 5 days. Hope I'm immune now - that would be cool.

1) The first time I got an unemployment check. I was in total disbelief that I would get a check even though I didn't work. I just couldn't believe it. It took me a few days to feel justified because I had been paying into the system since I was a teenager.

2) When I passed my GED test, it felt so good that I got that done without the interference of the cult.

3) If it weren't for the cult I would have had a much better upbringing. My parents might have stayed together.

4) The dishonestly level of people out here is totally different. People keep telling me to lie and I tell them no and it feels unnatural to lie. Also I have no poker face. One time I called in sick and it was a lie and I felt so bad that I got sick so it ended up being true.

5) I don't have to look up that word unless I want to. I will decide when and if I do or if the word is worth my time.

6) People have appearance issues. It is not me being superficial, it is that whatever their appearance issue is through their life they have been treated a certain way (if not just a little bit) by so many thousands of people so many times that it affects their personality. Often times it makes up atleast 40% of their motivations in life. For example, a short person will act like a super adult and will over compete with tall people and try to be their boss. Ugly guy will over compete with handsome guys and try to skew reality that they are the guy with all the girls. People will have racial chips on their shoulders and use it to justify doing wrong and dishonest things towards another race they feel is privileged. Ron was ugly.
I will fix any appearance issues I may have and not be a see through idiot.

7) Ron knew nothing about science, nutrition and anti aging. There is a whole world of knowledge out there to soak in. I will live longer than him.

8) How can you teach someone there is 8 parts to life and then make them spend all of their time, devotion, assets and energy on the cult group? I mean that is an obvious lie. Making fun of a public's personal goals because it is not contributing to the cult group personally pushed me over the edge in my doubt formula, these people are mean.

9) I am lost in life but I'd rather be lost than led by an ugly con man or the viper pit of female bosses in the cult or their stupid ignorant and suppressive opinions and evaluations. I will do what is best for me not what is best for him or a bunch of insane ball busting females.

10) The first time I made 35k a year I realized I am too happy about being above poverty level. There are so many people making 2 or 3 times as much as me and they are half my age. I am so mad at this cult that stole my years from me.

11) Hard sell by this cult is evil. Hard sell in a situation like a relative not taking no for an answer to the demand that you go to the doctor because they see you are having symptoms of something is not.

12) Ron's list of the signs of an SP is all the reactions normal people have when they are being harassed, evaluated and used and abused by Ron and his cult plus he threw in some BS. Basically he wants you to comply and worship and obey him and any negative reactions you have to that will get added to the list of signs of an SP. SP means blocking Ron from his evil goals in life to use others and take credit for their work and be worshiped as the source of knowledge.

13) When I heard the concept of BT's I remembered one time when I was a kid and I was very sick. I was laying on the living room carpet floor and I was burning up, it was agony. I can't remember if it was the flu or measles or chicken pox. I hallucinated thousands of tiny little beings surrounding me everywhere all over my body, they were all shouting saying their own opinion about what was happening and I was fading in and out. I guess I perceived it as my sending off. I'm guessing Ron ran across this happening in someone else's PC folder and that is where he decided to make up the BT's story.

14) I was not born with approach anxiety.

Mmmmmmm. Bacon...
Bacon and cookies are part of the modern age of quantum consumables, you know, spooky action at a distance.
See we bake --> cookies and cook --> bacon
If you wrap a cookie in bacon and put it inside of another cookie and wrap that in bacon and then you bake it in a cooking pan, you get thrown in to an alternate dimension.
