Re: The old days - Aboard the Apollo - 1973

This 'circle' is probably where all the weird pagan stuff Ron did comes from...the magic circle and Crowley and all that.

I often do this to myself. Here I am on my blog criticizing the Crowleyian stuff yet I was enjoying the cyclical Greek view.
Without seeing the trace of their connection.

Of course the pagan Greek view of the cycle which the circle represents is not ritualized and not the same thing
as what the circle later became in alchemical circles a part of magical procedures. These two at most are historically
daisy-chained...but not identical.

I guess I just did the full loop. :omg:

That's five laps 'round the mind....

I'm going out for a few hours, will respond later this afternoon.

Re: The old days - Aboard the Apollo - 1973

I found this article that explains how the cyclical time worked according to myth.

http://kaykeys.net/spirit/egypt/houstonegypt.html

The article explains that there was durative time, in addition to cyclical time and to linear (mundane) time. Now I had been speaking of the Greeks...but really the myths of the Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks are all the same pantheon, just different names and other variations. For all intents and purposes, all I said before is still holds true whether we we talking Greek or Egyptian; for all of them there is no time since in cyclical time everything happens at the same time, and repeats. Anyway....now I feel a bit ill thinking that I was saying there is no time. No desire to go Egyptian here. Sigh. Well the moderns certainly hated this inescapable circle....because, if I am not mistaken, the Medieval Christians adopted it (even though it is pagan).

In the article is this one funny section which reveals the trait of 'cyclical time' in a bit of a comedy way.

"One can imagine what would happen in America if each year around July 4, in addition to hot dogs and firecrackers, we suddenly dropped our boundaries of space and time and received Thomas Jefferson into our midst, declaring our independence over again with the same fervor as in 1776."

Now how does this apply to Scientology processing? You could say that CoS is attempting to teach that those who step into their magic circle can step out of the ancient magic circle. Just funning...but sort of yes.

And just remember what happened to poor Icarus in the myth when he tried to 'fly like an eagle'....[escape time].

I don't want to be difficult Lakey
in relation to all I wrote here.

But I was unaware until just now actually, just how
much all that form of time (cyclical) was in
my thinking still.

What I would like is to
get rid of all the forms of time.
Get rid of the durative, the cyclical, the linear, the inner.
All forms of it. The whole thing. Sick of it.

So I guess I will continue the blind assertion
there is no time. Or is that assertion just a continuation
of the same Egyptian myth? Even if it seems ridiculous to say.
I don't know now.
And even though it conflicts with
my last half dozen posts on cyclical time.
Sigh. And now maybe I don't know
if it does conflict. Need to rest my
brain.

Ok. I've put myself into a logical pretzel.

Since I have no way to defend my argument then,
and maybe no argument to make at all,
not even sure what they are now [my arguments],
then no need for us to argue about it again....

Interesting concepts of time. Maria, you are so smart.

In auditing, it seemed I honed myself to perceive impressions in their pictorial or image form. I became a sensitive for a while and could 'see' my own impressions in the local ethers as well as those of another. Oftentimes, the most indelibly impressed were seemingly not of our 'linear' time stream....BUT, the incidents seemed to occur somewheres between regular life cycles. I would hesitate to say these perceived recordings were from another universe...they were of existence in a different matrix of things. Especially things like the mythic Inc One incidents where a person is ganged up on and smashed into a timeline or 'system'. There are hence given innumerable problems to keep him solving...over and over.

I was always curious as to how I could run memory from one realm to another and then end up back in Earth time. Once or twice I got a last time around Earth development...though the setups for advancement weren't exactly a copy of the old.

I had always seemed to have a problem with archetypes who put themselves above as controllers and influencers. Illuminated Ones who knew the rules of the game that others had somehow agreed to Not Know as a matter of divine contract...or not so divine. I have been in a condition trying to KNOW the mysteries while the other team intended NOT to be known. I've experienced two or three unwanted flushes into our current Earth cycle and reality. 2 had very much a feeling of Greek gods mocked up in presence.

Keeping people in or keeping people out or keeping them busy enough not to bother you might be one use of inflicting time on another. Maybe it is a punishing act as well as a havingness. Magic is surely present....like at the racetrack... if one can best the system without getting punished. And since I sense that being made to be bound by time has often been a punisher, I suspect there are repercussions for going against the system and breaking the rules. I think the Gnostics tried to shortcut them as Peratae. Those who know how to break through. Its funny reading between the lines of early Christian doctrine the subjects they brought up in secret like: going against the archons and established gods, the awareness of many kingdoms, the defiance of death being final. It's like these were trying to break through a system of things that suppressed the spirit into ignorance. There was a desire to KNOW. This world of our Time was not considered the 'real' world.

I probably shouldn't follow suit with what I found as it is more of a Catholic agenda and not part of the other as much. But I will cause it interested me. It criticizes those who play the role of influencing from 'outside'. One has to appreciate the difference between Farce and Force.

Doggone it...now the app says my free trial sharing is over and if wants $. Will go around it ....

It's a 2 pager called The Gatekeepers. Gotta get charger too at the moment.

Nevva mind. The copy and paste view is messed up so it cannot be shared without a bunch of editing. The formatting is deliberately eskewed to prevent it. Not important except that when I inspect when I first got the idea that time, as a confinement, was used as a reprimand...I get a LOT of stuff. And beings who pass along the idea that they're in a different universe and therefore cannot be reached by us...although these can reach in 'to' us...are presenting a deception. Any attempt at not-thereness when 2 way live communication is attempted is suspect from my pov. They are in the 'same' universe.

Why don't you take the batteries out of your wrist watch and unplug your clocks and throw them out. Just don't complain to me if you didn't show on time to a high paying job interview where they were planning to hire you but hired someone else because you didn't show up. Hey Maria, have you had a chance to read any more of Martin Gardner's book on relativity. The day the book arrived, you were thrilled with page 1 but have never said anything else about the book.

On the no time topic, how do you plan to insure that your body gets enough sleep. Probably just rely on some sort of internal clock or just take frequent naps? I'm just wndering.

Some one mentioned that one day I post "A" & the next day I post "B".
For the record : Yes, I did - and do - that.

Was also said something to the effect - not in these words - of I maybe ought to work on remembering what I've posted.
Yes, I frequently have no clue what I have previously posted - that is true.

One, I try to work on my life moving forward & tend to not particularly try to remember much of anything in the past - particularly things that are not deemed of much if any importance to me or anyone else.

So, yeah, I frequently have no clue what I posted soon after I post it. I'm just another poster among a crowd of posters & my opinions are just that : an opinion that is only an opinion.

To the I say "A" then say "B" or even "Not A" very soon after. That's me. When I have a belief ( to me a belief being a thought that is kept on being thought ) sometimes I think about it later, blend in some other thoughts from myself or others & change my belief.
That can be anywhere from subtle for me to a life changing paradigm shift.

So, do I change my mind ? Yes. Can or does that change my previous position? I sure hope so. Does that mean I am absolutely not locked in ANY position ? Yes, absolutely true.

This is to somewhat answer another's observation of my posting & again, I'm not trying to assign a rightness/wrongness kind of thing but point of a difference.

This is bring up for me posting in general. This isn't my last post. I'm reaching the point of not seeing the point of this for me anymore.
ESMB for me has been a wonderful experience yet I realize that I have lost patience with listening to those who support this thing most of us have called scientology.

Scientolgy for me has become " Been there. Done that. Moved on to somewhere else ".

Nothing to do with any thread or poster just me feeling like I'm quickly running out of gas 'round these parts.

I do sincerely wish everyone Love, Blessings, & their dreams come true !

Well I am a bit worn out from rebuilding the computer, replacing all the software etc. It's grueling...so I got a bit spacey. Sorry. Yes I got the Gardner book and read a little...but not ready to comment yet. And due to the computer I didn't finish the book and got busy doing the repair instead.

I am overachieving. So I have a problem napping and usually am trying to do infinite things....Lots. I usually do a good job of getting a lot done too. :)

Well more on Gardner later. And as for the computer, it's now at 90%. I am downloading some software now that allows me to work on web development projects. The Adobe installed fine. Of course if I upgrade to Win 10 I'll have to repeat and rinse all this at the end of July. Sigh.

Interesting Hats. I can see that, holding different time paradigms going at once. Very good juggling to you. I do tend to believe, as Plato taught, that we already know everything. If that is true, then I don't need to worry about Illuminators. Just follow the theta trail. LOL. When the student is ready the teacher appears is a saying I've heard before....

I have no idea what the rules are exactly. I have come to the conclusion that direct experience is the only way....and that systems of knowledge are ok, as long as they are examples. Not the truth itself, except for whoever wrote it. Each system was written by someone based on their own experience. There is nothing wrong with having some sort of guide or system, as long as the person realizes it's not made of stone and that their own 'case' or reality may have uniqueness which is not covered by the guide. If the guide were enforced on anyone, then it would become a rule...but the problem there is that there are endless systems of rules in the trash heaps of history...so why would Scn or some other rule book be the 'one'? Sort of like a weird issue that I suppose men can have with women and love; why is this particular girl the one? I have that due to philosophy. I can be fascinated by an idea but it's hard for me to just drop everything for it philosophically...I just ask myself why is this train of thought the one? And then I sort of blink and see it is not the one. LOL. Endless truths I have studied...and so I had to walk away from all of them all although I still read up about them and understand....Problem is that I can too easily see how their variations are linked historically and that just is like seeing the wizard of Oz behind his little curtain.....sort of kills it all.... Which is why 'philosophy' and systems are not my go to. I prefer to focus on the heart and authentic experience....now that I can line up with....

Re: The old days - Aboard the Apollo - 1973

Time is interesting.

Linear time is, as you say, what we are aware of here on earth.

I see cyclic time as being the loops and resets that occur at regular or infrequent intervals. (I as going to say "that occur from time to time" but that doesn't sound quite right at the moment.) Cyclic time - Pilot talks about resets of time that he encountered in auditing. He says they happen every 5 years or so as needed. I think at the end of Feb in years with a 2 or a 7 as the last digit.

CBR has on the Ron's Org bridge a level at OT-14 called LTA which stands for Last Time Around and refers to something LRH talked about on the PDC lectures. That there have been previous Earths with the game we have here being played over and over again, each time with variations - like one time the west wins the war and anther time the nazis win the war and then France has the big empire on which the sun never sets and then Britain has its turn and maybe Spain on another loop gets its turn. That sort of thing.

This concept is real to me - I have run quite a bit on it including the R.O. level and got good gains from it.

No-time exists outside this universe. This is very real to me too. I done been there - quite an experience. Blew my socks off. This was not in Scio though, it was in an offshoot of The Forum - what was that guy's name that started it? Anyway they have a process there run as the last action on one of their courses. Everything prior to this on the course was just actions to set the case up to run this process. With all my scio background I was pretty set up already. Anyway we ran this process - the entire class together - and I blew out of my skull after two commands. Utterly beyond anything I had ever encountered in scio.

Have been there a few times since but not as dramatically.

Marvelous stuff. The real big barrier though - the trap of all traps - is believing that you are the person you think you are. Just having an identity - which you need anyway just to get into participation in this universe - that's the ultimate trap. That's where you sign up into Space and Time and all the bullshit.

In the no-time universes as I began to see them in shamanism, the time universes are just projections, games, scenarios, versions, eternal recurrences, etc. Virtual....

Which is why I thought your last sentence about buying into Space and Time was seriously fascinating stuff. But I won't say more about that. I've taken a vow of chastity, or should I say silence, when it comes to discussions of the no-time universe. Plus I'll get in trouble with Lakey.

I noticed that is true. ( the bolded part above.)

I never heard of The Forum. What is it?

I read what the Pilot said about resets but it did not ring any bells. But I did notice when folks straightened out their misconceptions about time a lot of alignment occured. Like realizing one is anchoring another's harmful act prior to his own mischief. Or that he was continuing life from someone else's destroyed viewpoint back in time.. Or he remembered himself 'before time' or when he was his own Self and not 100% identified with something.

If you want a ticket to the Show, you need to provide an Identity. :)

("adopt" would be a better word than "provide" but that doesn't work as well with the ticket metaphor.)

Anything one says about it is, of necessity, false. It cannot be itsa'd because there is nothing there to itsa. It is, it "exists", yet there is only nothing. One can only describe it by saying what isn't - never by saying what is. There is a word for this in Christian theology but I forget what it is now.
