I mean the equation is easy: Buy a Karmann in whatever shape it is, buy an old VW, buy 3 m³ of sheet metal and get to work. Used Porsche replacement parts, no matter what shape they're in, will cost you at least 3 times as much. One doesn't have to be a math genius to figure that equation out.

I have to admit that if I could swing the new Ford mustang, and I suspect it is pricey, and if it was available in stick....I'd be a sucker. But I never rode in a capri so I don't know what I am missing.

Weren't most European Fords German made in those day? Mercury used to a sell a Capri over here that was made in Germany. You could get a 2 liter 4 or a 2.8 liter straight 6. My brother had the 6. It was a damn good car.

I don't either - or why pretty much every interior now comes in shades of grey and black, when the colours used to be much more varied.

The Capri he's talking about was from the 70s. And I agree with the new Mustang. They have a 4 cylinder engine that has over 300 hp and gets close to 40 mpg. And it comes in a convertible with a manual transmission. Maybe 20K brand new give or take. Then there's the v8s. Easy 150 mph off the showroom floor and an 11 sec 1/4 mile. Pretty good.

I gave up tobacco years ago. But Small Faces have there moments. As far as the ordering error goes: I think I hear yer guitar humming. You might want to ground that old Bassman you are playing through.

Can't be arsed to check on country of manufacture, but yes, if you were going to have a Ford Capri, the 2.8i was the business. A real collector's item these days. Actually, the photo of the Capri I have posted is actually a 2.8i I have realised after close inspection.
I don't know what any of this has got to do with 'The old days - Aboard the Apollo' but old Lakey's STATS are going through the f'ing roof lately.

Even the pricey cars aren't necesarily attractive though. I saw one of these recently (the top of the range Lamborghini), and IMO it's more brutal looking than pretty;

I was told by a man who owns parts of Florida that today ugly is pretty, at least in art.

Get the best quality you can.
Usually sausage meat is made from the remnants of good meat.
Germany and poland may do better. You have local free range butchers
who make sausages?
Mash is mashed potatoes. A good gravy helps.
Most supermarket sausages are awful.
Perhaps a helpful URL.
