As for psychiatry: A relative of mine had a very bad problem with OCD. I found a shrink for that person, and I will never apologize to anyone for that. The shrink was in no shape or form an evil sp. He was an expert in the field and did wonders for my relative. And yeah, he prescribed some prozac for my relative! And they WORKED!!

So my thought is if $cientology says it's bad, it's good. If $cientology says it's good, it's bad.

I had several Social Workers before Scn. And one truly saved my life on more than one occasion. No, psychs are not necessarily any more evil than others on this planet. I think each profession comes with it's own number of evil doers. But to rank all psychs as evil is a GENERALITY.

ImOut, right, it is a generality. I'm glad you had some good Social Workers. Since I left the cult I have been much more willing to trust the REAL professionals such as doctors, shrinks, social workers and the like.

Emma has shown herself to be admirably pan determined, and not a freezoner, or especially sympathetic to such.

Div 6 is clearly an FZer. I mildly rebuked him from posting Pierre's comments from a private board. He PMed and said he posted it from an anon related board and gave details.

So, question for a moderator. " Are you now, or have you ever been a Freezoner."

That should sort it.

I for one, do not want to see at least one aspect of this issue dropped. I asked what I thought was a fundamental question on the Someones L's Got Fixed thread. That question was and is, how do we know that what this Pierre, (with the butt ugly website), is alleged to have said is true? I didn't see the quoted source because it was taken down too quickly. Before we get our panties in a bunch shouldn't we at least try and determine if in fact it is <name deleted> he is supposed to be talking about and if it is, why isn't <> talking about it?

And don't give me privacy auditors code bullshit. I wouldn't expect for <> to reveal any details about his case. I'm just curious about whether or not the alleged repair of his L's, M & M's, Q's or whatever actually occurred. I'm less curious about the purported result. In case you haven't noticed he's not really shy about speaking up about his "case".

What I've heard of the incident doesn't pass my smell test.

Just my 12 cents worth.

I think it is a valid question to ask. But that goes back to the definition of an ex-Scientologist. I don't think you can call a Freezoner an ex-Scientologist. So yes, I wouldn't want an Freezoner to have the authority to limit what is said on this board. But I take Emma at her word if she says there isn't one. I don't need to investigate it any farther.

By the way, if the question is "Are you now, or have you ever been a Scientologist?" then we're all guilty.
