Marty Rathbun raises his head, and starts squawking PART 2

Re: Marty Rathbun raises his head, and starts squawking

Both were heavyweights imo, and both reached certain individuals that the other never would have.

Emma though was the last one standing when Marty yelled "No Mas!"
not even close to being a contest. Marty maybe a "heavyweight" in his own mind but he could not outpunch a vestal virgin. Emma's creation has been responsible for reconnecting a lot of people, it has also been an incredible resource for anyone wanting to find out what exes really think and we really went through. Marty spent a lot of time and other people's money pontificating about how he had arrived to correct the masses.

If I seem a tad cycnical it is because I thought when Rathbun arrived he was a jerk and I think he has progressed from that to being a twat, loser and an arsehole.

He has done NOTHING for the ex communityexcept write meaningless drivel and peddle it, sponge off people and then turn round and leave a trail of slime behind him as he slithers off back to the head mollusk.

The proof of the pudding is that we are here on this great site discussing Loser Rathbun, not on "moving on up a Little Lower" and discussing what a great job The Fatuous One has done.

I told you I was trouble

He was treated like a pariah by a few people from the moment he stepped through the door of ESMB (about 8 years ago) and I remember being shocked (and very annoyed). I kept thinking "this isn't going to end well" ... and it didn't. I have wondered if things would have gone very differently if we had treated him with a bit of respect (just as we treat any newbie, I certainly don't mean in deference to his past cult post) but in retrospect I realise that he was always going to try and lord it over the plebs (ie everyone else on the board) so he would have been justifiably told to get lost eventually anyway.

About the only thing he wanted to hear from any of us when he lobbed here as an indie auditor was "shuddup and take my money" and that was never going to happen.

Something I came across...

Monique has apparently given up her job in healthcare and has started a bakery/catering business. Got a business license a few months ago.

Did the same question(s) pop into your mind that popped into mine? :hmm:
Yes it did (nice to see you BTW @Lulu Belle).

If I had suddenly come into money but needed/wanted to appear not to have done I would probably buy an existing business and maybe put a manager in to demonstrate my need for regular income ... and justify any sudden spending.

If they she has started a new business it could be one of those franchise ones where you are taught how to run it and given training (like how to throw the pre mixed cheesecake into a vat, add water and mix) which is really much the same as buying an existing business and putting a manager in would be really easy to do in that case too.

Either way, unless they she is in there and seriously working or has genuinely started a new business from scratch herself and is working it, it I doubt it's more than a cunning ruse to fool the world (lol) and (more to the point) to fool Ray Jeffrey (good luck with that).

I'm such a cynic these days.

Rathbun fared exactly the same and reaped exactly the identical rewards as every other self-appointed guru that braved the difficult journey to earth and the internet, to save sinful and un-illuminated souls.

Just imagine the indignities suffered by advanced spiritual masters who must stoop to our level at lowly ESMB in order to share divine wisdom.

There have been other such cosmic masters who, likewise, had all the answers. Should I name some of them? LOL LOL LOL

High priest of knowingness Rathbun (like Ron Hubbard) had no patience for small degraded beings who were either unable or unwilling to comply with his commands and intentions. So we can hardly blame Rathbun for hurling cosmic shit at anyone who didn't bow down to his ethics presence.

Whether intentional or not, all these wisdom spewers fly high, burn bright and navigate the same trajectory to their final destination--a humiliating crash and the revelation to one and all that they are nothing more than arrogant, narcissistic trolls.

That's all Rathbun ever was, all the rest of the spiritual posturing and humanitarian motivations were complete and utter lies. He was scamming the world until he got his hands on enough cash, then he was gone. He's so pathetic, he probably doesn't even know (yet) that he was just trolling everyone for a big payday. He likely reflects on his own Scn journey with sublime reverence and a smirk about how resistive all the little evil beings were to being saved by him.

Trolls.

They troll and stir everyone up so that nobody will pause a moment to consider what they are really after.

(phew! miracle! I got through all that without naming any of the other reprehensibly perverse trolls, LOL)

Actually, the cakes are stunning. If she does it all herself it's pretty surprising.

Not sure what the deal is...

So do you want to say that Monique is making now a lot of money by delivering bread and rolls to Clearwater and LA ? ;)

Marty did not differentiate between those who were nice to him, and those who were not. He burned everyone with equal bitterness and vengeance.

The frog and the scorpion - it is in his nature . . .

To me he's still just a guy who had a rubbish life who (while still very young) joined a cult and spent the most important and formative years of his life making things much worse ... left, tried to make sense out of it all and create something better and for whatever reason ended up screwing many others over in the process.

There are an awful lot of people around who are far worse than him, but would I trust him now ... no. Does that make me feel sad, yes.

It seems to me that scientology takes away the best from people and shows them how to replace it with the worst in themselves and some find that easier to accept than others ... and it probably all depends on the kind of life and upbringing they had prior to joining such a vile cult.

In the end it's a complete screw up and I'm just glad we are all now out and talking about it so openly.

and correctly so. He was a pariah and the proof of the pudding is in in his actions now. I excoriated him when he arrived (and departed) because he assumed that he was going to tell others what needed to be done. And I never ever subscribe to the BS concept that "oh if only we had been nicer to him" - if he had stuck around and been willing to debate his viewpoints he might have achieved the respect that mike rinder has gotten.

They look great.

Some stupid questions - where would she have gotten the money to set up a bakery store? They are not cheap, at all, to set up. How would she have obtained financing? Neither she nor Marty have jobs from what I know.

Where did she learn to bake commercially? this probably sounds like one of those "duh' questions but knocking out a family recipe for a bundt cake is majorly different from baking many different things commercially - it is why chefs and bakers do apprenticeships or work their way up. This is not something that you just start doing - well not unless you are doing something incredibly specialized - and even then it takes a LONG time to set these things up. Learning to bake well is a long process - my wife is a great baker and makes some great stuff but I doubt that she could sustain a commercial activity with it.

And back, once again - to costs. What is paying for the supplies, the professional grade ovens, the rent the advertizing?

Yup. Exactly what I was wondering.

So I went to the newly registered homepage of Wimoma.com to see what this company has to offer. Maybe some coffee for the cakes ? Or maybe butter for the rolls ?

The startpage has the title:
WIMOMA - Meaning, Message and Books
Then follows a lot of unimportant "Maaaaty's standard vomit" (which I didn't read). At the left are ads for Maaaatys worthless elaborates and at the bottom of the main page can be found this:

Wimoma_startpage.jpg

Coming soon ? .... Hmmmm, what will come soon ? Curious as I am I clicked the link and here is the answer what will come soon from WIMOMA LLC:

Wimoma_coming-soon.jpg

Scientology reloaded.... I kill myself laughing.

Marty the COB of Scientology 2.0 ? And maybe Alanzo will become the new prophet ? And "The Oracle" ?

Launder money received from David Miscavige and the COS? :whistling:
Exactly what I was thinking. She can have a little invoice/receipt book and do whatever. This would never get audited.

I saw her FB page a couple of days before it was posted here, and here were my thoughts ...

She's making them at home (not legal in my state, but okay in TX), so she'll have very little business. The cakes on her page look like they were made by a teenager; not high-end stuff. So ... maybe $20 - $40 per cake? I have no idea what her friends are willing to pay, but how many can she sell to friends? A few per month?
She has to label the products. There is software like Nutriform she'll have to use. Also pay taxes on her oven and utensils in her home.

It's a hobby-type cottage business like a retired grandmother would have, in my opinion.
