What is truly native to a thetan?

I've been pondering what characteristics/values are native to a thetan.
Assuming there is such a thing as a thetan. :)

Aesthetics
Curiosity
Spirit of Play

Qualities that we value, such as courage, loyalty, honour, whilst admirable wouldn't appear to be native to a thetan. Early on the track, could such things easily be conceived of?

Even the three I've listed require that static has mocked-up space and more than one viewpoint.

Any ideas?

A sense of humour

Can you get the idea of projecting from static for the very first time and getting the concept of humor? I'm struggling with that one a bit. But, I guess most here would argue I don't have a sense of humor to begin with. :D

A thetan was created by L Ron Hubbard and imbued by him with qualities he said were native to it.

Thus, what is truly native to a thetan is what L Ron Hubbard said was truly native to a thetan.

And nothing else.

He hit the nail on the head exactly.

Probably, anyone who uses the Hubbardian grim-joke-word "thetan," instead of "Human Soul," or "Spirit," does need a sense of humor, I guess.

Or, at least it helps to be kind of thilly.

Alright, smart arse! What qualities/characteristics are native to a being, then?

Well, at least when one uses the term "thetan" most here have a good idea what is being discussed. Soul and spirit are far more vague.

Knowing is not required on this thread. Speculation is acceptable. :)

I speculate that the qualities native to a being are those that are native to human beings.

Like, a social nature, for instance. The tendency to define one's self with reference to one's role in a group, or with how one is viewed by others.

To also seek companionship and interaction, and to feel emotions such as pride and shame based powerfully and primarily on those interactions, and to be guided and controlled mostly thereby.

Like Ron should have said, "Man is basically social".

Alanzo - I propose the following sig line for you:

I wish I was an Englishman! :melodramatic:

It would be a good one for Alan too. :D

I can't pay cash but I'll toast your good health when I crack open my bottle of absinthe. :eyeroll:

Since we now have two wildly diverging usages for 'crack' I think it deserves a third.

Alanzo's wise crack about not having a buttcrack ignores the mocking-uppedness of all maya, including Lunchboy's cracked bottle of vino.

That was a reasonable crack at a gag! :D

However, let's be careful not to restimulate anyone - isn't there a "big crack" in Inc I? :)

Oh, the joys of language!

We are on post 17, and this thread has already completely diverted.

Is that a record?

No this is a record:

See - now it has not only been diverted but descended into anarchy!
It's my best thread yet! :D
