unbelievable....:D:D:D:D

Jezzuzz, Mate, I'd probably lose a leg trying that!

Is unbelievable to speed with which it is all done.

I find it very interesting, though, to be looking at stuff like that and also the clip by Panda of Gene Kelly, also the clips of Fred Astaire.

Reminds me of a guy I used to race against in (indoor) ice speed skating 1959-60, in Sydney).

A good example of what I'm going to relate is in the clip of Gene K, Donald O and Debbie.

Looking at Gene, I see this super Being out and about his body, putting it about as though a puppeteer . . . he has an amazing "presence" all about and exterior to the body. Compare this to many other dancers, or athletes, and you see them in their bodies trying to make the body go. Donald O in the clip is good, but observe closely and you'll see how he shifts his center of gravity differently to Gene, he often has to bend his body to get his legs about in a different position. Gene does everything as though his body is hung from below him, and he simply repositions it.

Quite fantastic, actually. My old friend in the ice-skating days was like this. It was as though he defied gravity! It was my first appreciation and understanding of the phenomena of "thetan exterior body control." It taught me a whole new level of spiritual operating capacity.

Wiki: The Lindy Hop is a dance based on the popular Charleston and named for Charles Lindbergh's Atlantic crossing in 1927. It evolved in Harlem, New York City in the 1920s and '30s and originally evolved with the jazz music of that time. Lindy was a fusion of many dances that preceded it or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway and Charleston. It is frequently described as a jazz dance and is a member of the swing dance family.

In its development, the Lindy Hop combined both partnered and solo dancing by using the movements and improvisation of black dances along with the formal eight-count structure of European partner dances. This is most clearly illustrated in the Lindy's basic step, the swingout. In this step's open position, each dancer is generally connected hand-to-hand; in its closed position, men and women are connected as though in an embrace.

Revived in the 1980s by American, Swedish, and British dancers, the Lindy Hop is now represented by dancers and loosely affiliated grass roots organizations founded in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

One might assume that a dance that came out of the '20s and '30s would move a bit slower than the same dance being performed today. But, oh, no...

Wow! Dex and Face!

Hey, Dex and Face,

Great, great, nice wins in those sessions.

To me, what you guys wrote actually reveals a lot.

Certainly there was the integrity to the tech and its workability and correctly, dedicatedly applying it so that the correct result was obtained . . . . Face I love that "keeping your TRs in" touch while you gave the lady without her pants the touch assist! Man, that's in-ethics!

What your stories revealed to me and confirmed, is how long it takes to get the result with the "body" handling type processes, including objectives and CCHs type stuff.

These processes are not "take a magic pill and instantly cognite and feel better" type affairs. They take time, lots of it.

This is why a lot of the occasions such processes appear not to work . . . . not run long enough!

You know, I've never run a touch assist so long enough to get the outcome you guys got!? I think, maybe, once I got such an outcome 50 years ago after maybe 20 minutes or so . . . but a touch assist for hours!? Not ever done it. I'd usually done it to a "win," and feeling some relief, then allowing the "healing process to occur" . . . but to totally blowing the physical condition!

So, truth is, I didn't do it right as in, long enough!

CCH's, Opy-Dupe and such I've run long enough, and they are wondrous when run for the time needed to get the result. Most recently was a three-and-a-half hour straight non-stop session of Alan W's equivalent of Opy-Dupe (book & bottle) on Virginia . . . and what a wondrous result! She hit the full EP and glowed like a hot ember!

As a comparative in the vein of physical body handling type processing, I remember an incident told me by an old-time auditor (her sons' family name is Ecklesbury, but her second marriage name I forget).

In any event, the happening she related was that one of her sons at age 5 or so had been run over by a car, and had his skull crushed. An ambulance was called, and a Dianetics session was begun by the mother (my old auditor friend) . . . she related to me how she simply, in desperation, continued to run the child through the engramic incident, she said about 20 or 30 times . . . and eventually, before her very eyes the boy's skull simply restored its shape from bent/crushed to reform itself correctly! And the kid opens eyes and is present again!

At the hospital X-rays showed all again normal, no residual injury, though degrees of scar tissue and residual healing present.

This all reminds me of the time it actually can take to get the full result when dealing with the physical body conditions

More tales you stars!

Thank you, Rog. I was curious what your take would be as you are much more experienced and well versed than I am as a processor.

Maybe Dex can elaborate on his story, but in my case I think it was the combination of immediate Contact Assist, the Aloe Vera, alternating Touch Assists to a win with Locational Assists, and taking up the unexpected Itsa Line re: her case and auditing that, together, produced the result. Therefore, I wouldn't necessarily say you've been doing Touch Assists wrongly.:coolwink:

The Itsa Line was about how she thought something was wrong with her as she had been “grinding” in her auditing (which was Paid HGC auditing) with lots of BER’s. Going ES on the Itsa Line lead to a huge item that Line Charged and the “Say or Ask” prompt, with the processor completely willing for whatever she wanted to originate, lead to a second Itsa Line that Line Charged as the PC was allowed to completely have their item and “own it”.

Although I did not use any Dianetics in this session, back in the early days of XDN many sessions began with a Touch Assist. My personal opinion is that in some situations this may be the most important “Rudiment” to getting the person truly “In Session”, regardless of what “technique” is being used for the processing. Again, I’m not an experienced cracker jack like you, Dex, Carmelo, Leon and others on this board so I’d be interested in y’alls take on that.

Swing Dancing and the Lindy Hop

Hey Roger, this will keep us all in shape!!!!

unbelievable....:D:D:D:D

Their dancing skills are unbelievable. I always enjoyed watching swing dancing ever since being a little boy and seeing it n the movies in the 1940's. This type of dancing stayed in vogue throughout the 1950's. It was Chubby Checkers hit "The Twist", around 1960 which seemed to change dancing for ever from being a partner thing to two individuals dancing apart and not touching, each expressing their own emothions and reactions to the music and the beat independently of one another.

I always preferred the Swing type of dancing and was glad to see that it made a comeback of sorts in the late 1990's with the Cherry Poppin Daddy's group and others.

Here is "Zoot Suit Riiot", the Cherry Poppin Daddy's biggest hit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IqH3uliwJY

To me excellent Swing dancing, as in Hat's video is a meeting ground of Gymnastics, acrobatics and dance. Those people are talented, the amount of shear athleticism is enormous! Viewed as thetans manipulating their bodies, it is amazing what can be achieved. I like when the women dancers wear the short skirt, as in couple number two of Hat's video. It seems as if she is wearing a black leotard and then the short red wrap skirt is just added on to create an effect.

Standing there shaking your body independent of your partner as in most of today's dancing requires less talent and skill. If a person can pick up the beat, they can just move with it and voila!, they are dancing without any special talent or training. Of course there are exceptions, the real pros can take free dancing without touching your partner to great heights as well. Here again, when they do acrobatics and gymnastics also come into play.

In the mid 1970s, a lady named Maggie Wesley in Santa Clara, CA. in her late 40s, was stuck in bed with systemic arthritis. She had good insurance, and had tried every medical solution.

My wife gave her a touch assist. Each touch was painful.

I took over and started (what became) an eighteen month course of R3R. She couldn't get out of bed to go to the bathroom without help.

After 18 months of R3R, she was slowly jogging a par course near her apartment.

These are all fantastic stories - makes ny hair stand on end. I know they happen and work though I have never done such a long touch assist nor Op by Dup myself. I have had a face change completely but that was with L&N and getting the right item. I've also had some miracle cures on children - I thnk I have told that story before on this thread.

But SUPERB work guys!

Not terribly surprisingly the ONE american dancer who I've heard universally acclaimed by classically trained dancers, both from the kirov & bolshoi as well as dancers from the English National, is ... Fred Astaire. Over the years I've had occasion to meet several professional dancers from these and similar companies and they are all in awe of the man.

Well, Face,

This part in Red above:
The Itsa Line was about how she thought something was wrong with her as she had been “grinding” in her auditing (which was Paid HGC auditing) with lots of BER’s. Going ES on the Itsa Line lead to a huge item that Line Charged and the “Say or Ask” prompt, with the processor completely willing for whatever she wanted to originate, lead to a second Itsa Line that Line Charged as the PC was allowed to completely have their item and “own it”.

That's the magic of a true auditor and caring master at the job.

My Pro training was from way long ago . . . lots of action 1957-'60 and the old HPA in 1960, then living the tech as it developed as staffer. Of course, the bitch was, it all kept bloody changing :duh::duh: Then by '66-'68 I was handling Div 6 and Public Div lines.

I did not do the "standard tech" training line up :D (thank God)

My most beneficial tech has been the intense training and delivery of processing of Alan W's Kn stuff since 1994.

As we all know, the way the tech "was delivered" has changed over the years . . . hell, you've only got to read the red vols on the subject of "how to run CCHs" to see that!!!

So Face, I'm cool on my delivery of touch assists . . . the point I'm highlighting is the fact that your session, and Dex's was continued on for so long to get the correct EP. (In your first iteration you hadn't mention the extent of the rest of the brilliance and handlings you employed:D) The continuing to process to a full magical outcome . . . . that's the point and the mastery I'm observing here.

I see Leon mentions the time on Opy-Dupe . . .

In "my day" :D when objectives were first a part of the HPA/HCA (beginning in 1959, and the new course was called the HPA/HCA Validated [Val, for short]) an actual requirement of the course was to give and receive 8 hours of Opy-Dupe (if I recall correctly we were allowed to take a meal and piss break . . . but that was all). But it was 8 straight hours of "book and bottle." (Well, Hubbard did want us to be able to duplicate the materials we were studying:D)

Those were the days when before we dealt with FNs, and simply ran processes till the TA was "run out of the process" . . . . which actually meant running the bloody thing past the true EP into a high TA!!! :duh:

So, Face and Dex, I say it again as Leon says . . . . bloody good show, gentlemen!

just jumping into unknown territory here:

from what I've seen, there is more to auditing than just the words.

there are some auditors, who could get a result with "Do birds fly?" and there are some, who couldn't get a result with any process.

some of the elements include a safe space (as the auditor - not the environment), non judgmental, really present, loves the PC, sees the PC as a god, has no case that will hit the PC then or later, isn't auditing for $ or Well Done Auditing Hours or stat push or...., but for the betterment of the PC as defined by the PC -- in other words not enforcing a reality or having a hidden agenda.

Would anyone care to add to the list?

The auditor one should have would unconditionally love you and want the best for you, with no "yes, but.."

VWD, Facey!

That's my take.

Was the session Standard? Some fool of a C/S would have spanked you hard for that one.

BUT!

You did exactly what a good auditor is supposed to do in getting a result on his pc. And what a fine result it was!

My rule in working with new auditors is to get them to run those processes on their pc's that they have a degree of certainty they can use to get a result. As long as the pc is willing, I feel I can't go wrong with that.

As for opening the itsa line, hey, that's about half of what auditing is all about. Look/feel, itsa. Look/feel, itsa. If the itsa line is already opened the auditor doesn't even have to do anything but be there and listen and let the pc know he/she is being recognized and listened to.

So, that's my take. Once again, VWD.

Hi Hat:)

One place this came up was on goals processing in the early 1960's at Saint Hill, when rows of paired co-auditors were lined up next to each other, listing for goals and identities (terminals). It could and did occur that while one was PC having a goal or terminal found on them, it rang true for another or other PC's within hearing range. The bystanding PC would then have their own charge bypassed unless or until they were given that item. By extension, you can see how this could happen in life, one person cross-flowing a conversation in which another was told "You were meant to be a dancer", or whatever, and bypassing charge because nobody indicated or acknowledged the same for them.

Love, Dex

Hey Face,

Thanks for the for the ack (and thanks Rog and Leon too:) ). As to the correctness of your course of action, I think that a primary basis for a good session of any kind, any practice always was and always will be getting the person's viewpoint- perceiving, and understanding, along with successfully conveying that understanding to the person, and then acting in accordance with that understanding. Carmello is one person who understands how important this is, rather than a "one size fits all" "cookie-cutter" approach. If your PC is too distracted by a body sensation they are experiencing to give the auditing comm cycle their attention, then if you attempt to first address anything else, you're spinning your wheels. Its part of what makes you a natural auditor that you acted effectively rather than rotely.

Well done.

Love, Dex
