Okay, I'm back. Now, speaking of Jim Morrison as we were a few days ago, here's the latest news from the Sunshine State:

Fla. Gov: Jim Morrison Pardon "The Right Thing to Do"

Charlie confirms he'll seek state pardon for dead Doors rocker's Miami "exposure"

Dade County Public Safety Department

The music's nearly over for Charlie Crist's term as Florida's governor, but before he leaves he plans on letting dead rocker Jim Morrison off the hook for allegedly exposing himself during a wild 1969 concert in Miami.
Crist confirmed Tuesday that he'll submit Morrison's name to the state's clemency board, hoping to score a pardon for the Lizard King nearly 40 years after The Doors lead singer's death.

"The more I looked into it, the more I felt the right thing to do would be to try to bring about a pardon," Crist told the St. Petersburg Times. "And I've reached that conclusion now, that's what I'm going to do."

Crist's deputy press secretary said last week that the Governor was mulling the decision to pardon Morrison. Crist leaves office in January and must submit requests for clemency by Dec. 9.

Morrison was allegedly drunk when he supposedly displayed his penis and began yelling at the crowd during the March 1, 1969 show at the Dinner Key Auditorium in Coconut Grove.

Four days later, a warrant was issued for his arrest and after Morrison was convicted in 1970, he appealed. He died in 1971 in Paris at the age of 27, while he was out on bail and the convictions were still in the process of appeal.

Crist said he reviewed the case and wasn't convinced Morrison showed Little Jim to the crowd.

"We really don't know if the alleged act occurred," Crist told the Times. "He was a young guy who maybe, or maybe not, made a mistake. It strikes me that everyone deserves a second chance. You have to have the capacity for forgiveness."

Sand Can---I'm so sorry, if it's true you were "uninvited". You know I'm big on not excluding people, and this wasn't my party. (I do also recognize that people often have groups they're familiar with, thus --not intentionally to leave people out---but by the nature of that, people, self included, do get left out, sometimes). I started having *my* parties----(not this one) for that reason.

Also, I don't know you---so I was never told you (whomever you are) are a "plant". Trust me, I've lived with *that* label since I left Scientology. OSA has spread it for 10 years...and yes, I know it sucks. All I can say is move on, find friends, and connect with people who you love and they love you.♥ Call me and we'll talk: #

Hi Tory,

Thanks for your splendid reply. :):happydance:

I was told by Gary Hart [CC Treasury] that you were the switchboard operator at CC at the time I was Yvonne's Celebrity Auditor.

Since I was always in session, and never even knew there was a mess hall nor was I ever invited to dinner with the staff [as Dean Stokes was, according to Dean a couple of days ago by phone] I guess we never met.

I'd love to see some pics of you from that era, posted here on your Facebook if you have any. I'll try to find one of me and post it here on my Photos page.:p

It's very possible we never met.

But we may have seen each other in passing. My boyfriend at the time who lived with me in my house at the top of Echo Park, was Frank Dunn, the blond 6'6" hunk. He had a band which played at Celebrity Center, called Gemini, named in honor of both our birth signs, along with 6'6" Frank Blumer, who's still in CoS I'm told by his ex wife ex Scientologist and still my friend, Lee Blumer [who was Tech Sec in the early days at CC] and Jim Fleming.

We all blew in 1973 after Yvonne had had me comm ev'd and Heber physically blocked and refused Frank access to Yvonne. Frank Dunn, who had originally found her the wood building on 8th street, was heart broken and I felt extreme hatred for Heber, who had gotten Frank into Scn while they were on the set of PAINT YOUR WAGON, and had been our dearest friend at the start of CCLA.

We all moved to Sausalito where I rented a house boat for us, and the rest is another story.:D

Spanky had invited me to dinner with Ellen Jones, etc, when I first got to California about 5 years ago.

I was running my retro Horn of Plenty Cafe in Torrance at the time [very far from doing any kind of legitimate auditing for money].

In fact, I call it LIFE SESSIONS: working things out in real life by helping another face one's problems and completing cycles of action. It's completely FREE OF CHARGE. It's PRICELESS, and, putting any price tag on it, devaluates its worth.

LIFE SESSIONS is what I've done for 28 years while HOME IN HAWAII, developing my own TOOL BOOKS comprised of concepts from the I Ching, Carlos Castaneda books, Jung, etc, etc = whatever works.

The person themselves does the work. "No need to believe in a hammer for it to work for you." quoting myself. "You just need to know the proper way to handle it as to make it useful and work for you. No BELIEVING IN IT required here. RESULTS are the proof. etc"

In Scn's eyes, I would be labeled a MASTER SQUIRREL, and, proud of it, mind you.:omg:

After I sold the cafe and my children had moved on into their own independent lives, leaving me to flounder in my empty nest, Spanky then invited me to a party at her house where about 30 exscns showed up.

I brought all my photo albums from the old days and shared them with everyone, while we all waited for my ex husband, Ira Chaleff, to show up. [Aida Thomas knows of these photo albums as I brought them to a party at her house when I first met her about 3 years ago].

I guess you now know more about me, Tory, than you ever wanted to know, so I'll end it for now.:melodramatic:

I guess it's best that I set it all down in written form, so there can be no misunderstandings, as we all get to know each other.

I do respect you tremendously and all you've done for the independent field, whatever the persuasion. I'm sure it runs the gauntlet, from those totally against even the mention of any of the Scn jargon to those like Pierre, completely practicing the tech in full gear and regalia, in full view of all to see.

My hope is that we can all co-exist and help each other out, regarding the fight with the usurped Church of Scientology.

Personally, I'm not interested in reforming the Church in any way, as I mentioned in my earlier rant.

HAPPY DAY, OH HAPPY DAY, WHEN.........

Just keep those cards and letter with ideas coming.

My vision is open to modification.

So far:

Good Twin will show her good twins.

Purple Haze is in.

My thought is that wherever you are on the globe (pun), take a friend to your local org or mission to photograph. Flash your tits (and more if you want) in front of a large Scientology sign, in the reception lobby where there are books or in an auditing room with an e meter. the more scientologists in the picture the better. The more gals flashing the better.

Take lots of pictures. When our kids did modeling, we found that photographers easily take fifty pictures and get one they like, but in a short shoot (back in the days of film) they'd go through dozens of rolls of 36 exposure film to get one picture for an ad.

my wife and I do photo calendars of our family every year. We use i photo on the Mac. It is really fun and easy. Before calendars, we used too do yearbooks for her school.

I think we get photos from across the world. gals of all ages and sizes. Make a whimsical FUN calendar that features EX Scientologists with their Scio experience as part of the caption.

for instance "Candy Swanson, former Sea Org, Class Vlll, OT, Original Auditor, C/S Celebrity Centre"

the idea is "in your face"

The ladies in the calendar in the UK some years back did it to raise funds for cancer research because one of their husbands was dying of cancer and died.

We'll be doing it for a legal defense fund for Emma and rescue activities of damaged souls leaving the sea Org and other Scientology missions and orgs.

The idea is two fold. get publicity for the EX movement and fund help for those exes who need it.

It would be nice to get news coverage of this, Jay Leno, Conan, Today, etc. and and a movie deal.

Please feel free to contribute to the vision, improve it, etc. We should have fun. Target would be for the 2012 calendar sales. Taking pictures with red Christmasy hats and articles in front of Big Blue on a warm California winter day would be entirely appropriate. Doing photos with a surf board and stripping bathing suits for summer. Thanksgiving, easter, and Halloween themes would be good too.

anyone feel free to PM me

I'm in favor of pretty, colorful, BIG fun hats, too...to help celebrate the seasons or the holidays for each month of the calendar.

:happydance: BLESS YOU, such a lovely post and blew most of my charge. :omg:

:goodposting:

The reason I keep it going is to uncover the real why laying deep at the bottom of it, in order to get all the way through it and leave it behind in the dust!:coolwink: comprende?

And I'm having fun with these emotion thingies and am enjoying the hell out of what's flowing through me, and the wonderful responses I'm getting on Facebook!:cheerleader:

You know, as hard as my life has been lately, I am still so grateful to be alive! :happydance: I agree with Carmelo, it's better to be playing...:happydance:

Ha! Never having seen any of the series I thought the connection was
the similarity to this thread of random people arriving and staying coz they liked it here.

This is a BRILLIANT example of lateral thinking on your part, Terrill! :happydance:

Sharone, you are welcome here. I'm glad that you have joined us.

I was just jesting myself.

Absolutely!

Wasn't trying to say you're chopped liver, just having a bit of fun
in a totally unserious un KSW way.

I never felt you were saying I was chopped liver, I was just making a little fun of myself also in an unserious way.

Somewhere I've written: next week I take my gorgeous gay daughter with me and fly to where my saintly son and his wonderful wife with their two little sons will celebrate with us: Thanksgiving, my first grandson's 3rd birthday, and Christmas and New Years...all in a five day period!:happydance:

This past May, for 3 weeks, I loved my number one grandson, as his mommy gave natural child birth to my second grandson, a ten-pounder.

I am IN LOVE with my grandsons. The feeling is indescribable.

The joy of motherhood transformed from one dimension to a gazillion dimensions of love, radiating out in all directions. It's so intense, that I calmly sit before them in quiet amazement, just beaming and glowing with love simply emanating from the core of my being to someplace quite eternal...

it is the Circle of Life and I am so very happy to be caught up in it.

It anchors me.

I am the one who is always chasing rainbows, running through raindrops without an umbrella, laughing at the world.

I am thoroughly enjoying life itself in every endless moment; cruising on giant shoulders of all those who have gone before us.

I am so very very grateful to be alive in this very instant; yet, so very ready to greet death with a smile.

:D I just got interrupted from my lovely rant and told someone, who was worrying so deeply about "living in the moment" that we all aim for it, but really, only saints arrive. Ghandi was in that Zone, Martin Luther King Jr, Mother Teresa and Father Damian, for example.

I said, we are aiming for the eternal moment, where time stops and you just BE, DO, & HAVE effortlessly. Don't worry about being in the moment, dear. Just BE HERE NOW.

I think my "job" is saving my life. Coming from boredom, I'm now appreciating both the challenges and sanity that I do create about me; meeting and greeting all souls I come in touch with during each morning's trip to the local Coffee Bean, to the evening's outdoor sit-around-and-chew-the-fat, with gays and handsome dudes and celebrities mixed in with the wannabes in the spot now nicknamed: SANDYLAND.

HEY! nuff of that!:omg:
