I have a new opinion about Freezoners

No doubt this will polarize ESMB and I'll be struck from the Christmas card lists of the few FZers who "like" me, but at this point in time I couldn't care less.

I have a new opinion of FreeZoners. This is based on years of observation, interaction and one or two recent incidents that have pushed me over the edge.
And here it is.....

If you have the left the official church of Scientology, have had a chance to read all the information about Hubbard, the formation of the tech, the abuses, the history, the lies and betrayals Scientology delivers AND you have flittered around the FZ, had a chance to experience Scientology tech "outside" the official church and interacted with the key people in the Freezone and seen how these people behave and how the insanity perpetuates, and you still consider yourself a Scientologist THEN YOU ARE FUCKING STUPID.

There is no other explanation.

You are just fucking stupid.

I am referring to the active FZers who are Rons Org members, Pierre's group, Terrils yahoo group etc. I am NOT referring to the likes of Mike Goldstein, Roger, Paul etc who do their own thing and do great stuff.
 
I agree Em. If the body had been healthy to begin with, the DM virus would not have thrived in it. Therefore the FZ'ers are still drinking the cool-aid.
 
I agree with Emma.

Just because taking Scientology in (as one's own guiding light to Total Freedom) includes being able to see what it, implemented, DOES to people.

If one doesn't see, and doesn't want to see what it does to people, he's fucking stupid.

Not just stupid himself, but keeps forwarding its stupidity.

I should say here about CLAIMS (by Hubbard) and EXPECTATIONS (planted into followers).
Scientology is all about CLAIMS. Hubbard made claims upon claims upon claims.
It's hard to see through those claims. It's even harder to see that those claims were nothing but Sci-Fi ideas of a person who was just running for fame, money and power.

EXPECTATIONS (of becoming better, doing better, being better, ...) were planted in our hearts.
What one would expect from someone who had no clue what he was talking about?
What one would expect from someone who was paranoid himself?
What one would expect from a crazy man?

Well, that's what Scientology is all about. - It's about one man who claimed he found "answers" (misleading and confusing "answers" to questions we were concerned about in our youth).

I've always kind thought "hmmmm....I wonder what holds them to this mindset?" or "Their ok, they just haven't woken up yet".

But not anymore.

I've been over on Terril's Yahoo list and this has changed my mind.

Stupid.

T went down a little notch in my esteem when he responded as he did to my simple statement on the Apollo thread that Hubbard was a proven liar and fraud and superficially dishonest in his work and research.

Like um . . . don't you then very carefully check out every bloody thing such an arse-hole says or has put out?

Man, it is only after doing such a tooth and nail investigation of each and every little bit of the stuff do you see how so much of it is irresponsible, incomplete, misleading error.

And make no mistake about it . . . he also lied with his tech! Even it is not the pure truth of what he "found," but instead with instances of deception to suit his ends! :angry: . . . and there is nothing worse than that. :no::no:

I think that looking at the factual infomation (confirmed by many sources) and seeing it as "natter" and "denigration" is stupid.

"Stupidity is the ability to view the only things you want, bypassing any evidence contrary to seeing what you want". (My own definition. Just made it up)
 
In my opinion, scientology breeds stupidity.
If you blindly follow the "tech" then you simply cease thinking, observing and working things out for yourself.

Until those thought stopping automaticities are realised, it's a never ending squirrel cage of round and round.

I'm all for each to his own, but have also observed over the last years that there is little or no change of awareness for those who follow blindly.

Not that I was on the Xmas card list anyway. :D

Actually, Emma, I think you are wholly justified. Not all of FZorg is stupid, but BB has been acting very stupidly over there lately and, largely due to his own personal bias, has been allowing things to become out of control on his board.

Nor am I the only freezoner who shares your opinion.

As I posted on FZorg in response to you, there is no serfac like a scientology serfac. :duh:

p.s. I doubt if you get struck from any FZ'ers xmas lists. For the most part I suspect that the one's that like you will agree with your views and the reasons for them. :blush:

Mike Goldstein, Roger, Paul, etc. are not Scientology FZoners, and often they post under the "Independent Field" section. The meaning of Independent Field has changed, and is now sometimes confused with "Independent Scientology," thus the suggestion to rename the "Independent Field" section something like, "Human Potential, Self-help, etc. beyond and outside Scientology," or some such.

The FZ section could become "FZ Scientology, Ron's Orgs, and Indie Scientology" consolidated.

This might help avoid confusion and, ultimately, invite Indie Scientologists and Scientology Zoners to take the next step up to "Human Potential etc. beyond Scientology."

P.S. I feel a disturbance in the force: Here comes PR damage control, and ("acceptable truth"& faux "ARC") attempted "handling" from FZ PR spokesmen. (I guess that's to be expected.)
 
I don't see the FreZoners so much a stupid but view them more as Scientology's walking-wounded. The fact that they continue to masquerade their religion as a therapy to a gullible public makes them dangerous.

I think stupid is "can't tell things apart". And from that perspective I can't find fault with the use of the term stupid.

Round and round and round it goes.

Hubbard baked a lot of crazy ass shit into his pie, and the said don't anybody change the recipe. That in itself is stupid, or maybe a really mean joke.
