That bad, eh? Well I'm neither Michael, nor Roy. Just Mark A. Baker. Roy is something of a Sea Org loyalist to this day and he has sought to cross swords with me upon occasion, mostly due to my less than laudatory attitude concerning LRH & the Sea Org.

I don't have any particular 'need to know', just a mildly human curiosity about Roy. I've no real interest in any dirt on Roy, or anyone else come to that. So, under the circumstance, I'll pass on your kind offer of a bit of personal history.

1. I don't understand how you know what Mayo can't and can say as a result of his gag order. Have you read it?

2. Am I to understand that he answers the XENU & BT stuff on the misconceptions thread? If so, great - and thanks for the heads up!

3. Could you tell me from your understanding roughly what percentage of the FZ sells & delivers (believes in?) OT3 & NOTS pretty much as CofS. I won't do some rip-snorting response about where were the Hawaii volcanos 75M years ago. I'm just curious.

Yeah I don't get why the man can't just be allowed to answer these questions himself without people jumping in to act like his self appointed internet bodyguards and answering them for him.

He's not an emotionally fragile basket case like Hubbard who needs to be sheltered, I'm sure he can speak for himself.
 
One of the problems with Message Boards is that everyone can read the questions and 5 minutes can seem like a looooong time to some people! :D

I don't as I've never read the settlement. However, David has indicated he is not in a position to discuss the subject. He is evidently even limited to the degree he can discuss what he can discuss. :)

Fewer demands for 'answers about scientology' and a bit more thoughtful attention to what he does feel comfortable saying in public is apt to prove revelatory.

I certainly hope that may be one of his intentions. It is a work in process. I very much doubt that he will be able to address the subject directly, especially in the language of the Co$. Nonetheless, David is almost certainly able to discuss his current thinking about human potential in terms which don't relate to 'The Old School'. :)

Simple answer: No clue as to total numbers.

Quite a few do. Quite a few don't. Freezoners are pretty much wherever you happen to find them. Since Freezoners don't all hang out in the same place, much less all hold to the same ideas. It's not possible to make intelligent statements accurately reflecting a 'common consensus'. I doubt one exists. Those who claim to be able to make such statements are speaking from their own bias, not certain knowledge.


Correction to an Inaccurate Assumption Implicit in Your Question: Not all who deliver or audit on ot iii believe it to be true. Some do. Many don't. Those who don't accept Hubbard's interpretation of the events as outlined in the 'official materials'. They may well regard it as nonetheless useful to address the phenomena as auditing case.

The process of auditing does not require belief or acceptance in Hubbard's narrative or his theory. Whether that is the best way to proceed is unclear. It is certainly one possible way to proceed, and one not without its benefits.

This conclusion is of course predicated on the extensive work that, V, has done in personally surveying all Freezone members everywhere, attending Freezone conferences, actively participating on Freezone Boards, and meeting with Freezoners in their homes, offices, and social gatherings. V's results are absolutely definitive for all freezoners everywhere in the world where they may be, despite any protests by malefactors to the contrary.

Any disregard for V's conclusions are clearly nothing but base PR attempts to discredit V and spread misinformation about V's attempts to spread the complete & unbiased truth despite attempts by others aimed at demonstrating that V, with regard to the Freezone, simply doesn't know what he's talking about, and that he makes stuff up out of his own personal antipathy towards any aspect of the free & independent use of scientology tech.
