Narcissism!

My friend LH who lives in Riverside is continually ill and is living with a former boyfriend who is actually supporting her and paying her medical bills. She seeks council from various psychic healers and one of them, apparently a very wise guru, told her that the guy she was living with was a Narcissist and listed out some characteristics of Narcissism.

Remembering the comments about Narcissism which appeared here on the Apollo "73 thread last year, I perked right up and said that I know all about that, having read it on ESMB last year. She perked right up and demanded to know everything which I knew about Narcissism. As I spouted off what I remembered, she grew more and more excited and wanted to know if I could forward her the article. I told her that I would find and copy the article(s) and forward it to her.

I did a search on ESMB and found that an entire thread on Narcissism had run last month. It's OP had a list of the same characteristics which had appeared last year on this thread. The thread ran only from early May, 2011 to May 18th and then died off. I was not posting much then and missed the thread and did not participate on it at all although some of the regulars on this thread did.

A BIG DIFFERENCE IN WHAT APPEARED HERE LAST YEAR AND WHAT APPEARED AS IT'S OWN THREAD LAST MONTH!

Last year, the focus was on what was motivating LRH and why he behaved the way he did. Certainly, as per his behavior, he was identified as a Narcissist.

Last Month's thread on the subject introduced another concept as follows: "The further a being gets into the Church of Scientology and the further they go up the "bridge", the more Narcissistic that being becomes!! Of course this is very, very obvious once it is called to one's attention.

This little "dipshit" B.G. who sent me a personal email last month stating that he is now living in my area and would like to get together socially has been a Narcissistic person for many years now. When I told him that I would be willing to get together socially but that I was no longer in the C of S and was no longer in agreement with their aims, he reacted just as expected. I had used the language, "It is your call if you want to meet up with me, kinowing I am no longer "in"." He replied that by taking the path which I did, I had already made "the call".

My ex wife has someone on her lines who appears Narcissistic and she happened to call me yesterday on another matter and I told her the story about LH. My ex wife then requested that I forward her the info on Narcissism as well.

It is obviously true that full acceptance of the C of S "Bridge to Total Freedom" leads a being to becomming a complete Narcissist. The key element which assures this outcome is that everyone is urged to totally duplicate 'Ron'! Staff members especially are told to approach their posts with the attitude, "What would Ron do?" One's entire goal and "raison de etre" is to do what Ron would do.

Individuality is looked upon as a huge negative. No one wants to know what anyone else is thinking and is prohibited from weighing or checking out what they say if what they say does not follow the "party line". All management principles and rules for happy living are prohibited from being applied if they are applied in a manner which might lead to disagreeing with the "church".

What good is a Doubt Formula if the results which it will yield are known in advance?. Try deciding against C of S management or tech and see how
that formula works for you!

In summary, the only "free" beings in C of S are those who have the freedom to disagree with the C of S and those indiviuals are gotten rid of quickly and in a manner calculated to destroy them.

The May 2011 thread on Narcissism had a nice description of the "OT's" who testified in the Australian hearings last year. The chief characteristics of these "OT's" was that they were ususally in poor health and that they were poorly dressed and did not seem to have much money nor much in the way of a general education. The things which they did have were a certainty that they were right and were of superior intellect and knowledge plus a disdain for the non Scientologists holding the hearings.

Reconstitute Charge, Don't Just Blow It

I had a nice win last Saturday, receiving a session from Purple Haze about problems which I have been having with interpersonal relationships.

The process run was from Knowledgism! It really bit hard and the end result was that a lot of "mass" was flowed love and admiration by me and was dissipated.

What appears at first to be large blocks of solid mass are made to break up and when that happens, the mass seems to be reconstitued as "free theta".

Reconstituting mass as "free theta" as opposed to simply discharging mass.

People have mentioned earlier on this thread about not merely running out one's charge but instead, reconstituting it into "free life force". At the time, it seemed to indicate to me but I did not have much subjective reality on it. Now I do have subjective reality!

In my long career in C of S, receiving probably 3,000 or so hours of auditing, I really only recall running out charge or as-ising charge. I do not believe that anyone ever put forth the concept of converting charge back into free life force. Certainly, I have not read or heard anything by LRH, dealing with this.

Perhaps on OT3 or NOTs, reconstituting somatics into free life force is being done but it is not promoted that way. To me, it seems that it can happen but if it does, one is not really certain that it happened. In any case, that does not seem to be the stated goal of those processes.

When I look at all the years in which I could have gotten clumps of mass to free up and be reconstituted as free life force and instead simply got the charge to blow from my case and/or my space or body it seems like a big waste of opportunity to make things saner in the overal sphere of one's surroundings.

ASSISTS AND MASSAGES
Assists and massages concentrate totally on releasing trapped energy as do things such as acupuncture and acupressure. I believe that these could also be reformatted to sometimes enable the receipient to not simply release their charge but to reconstitue it.

A person would have to be a bit advanced spiritually to do this in an assist or massage setting, both as the practitioner and the patient, but something could be designed so that it could be done.

The key to all this is to flow love and admiration to the charged area which you are trying to handle. Another component is to raise the tone level of what happened to you. Imagine someone spouting 4 letter invectives to you at a tone level of controlling bodies. Now imagine yourself relating this litany of invectives at higher and higher tone levels, such as grief, anger, boredom, strong interest, enthusiasm and finally exhillaration. As you do this, the command value of those invectives starts to fade out. At the higher tone levels, the viscious intent that was made to nullify you is revealed for what it was, just a bunch of hot air. One starts laughing about it and the masses start to dissipate. It is at this point where you flow your love and admiration to the former masses of charge which were triggered.

If Alan Walter was a leader in this type of processsing, I now see why he has so many adherents and people who swear by him.

I am somewhat amused when I see people going, "Blah, blah, #&*#&*@#8974 damn Hubbard," only to find them going, "Rah, rah, Obama. He's our man!" I wonder, did they learn nothing in their Scientology experience?

Here is an article that is about Obama. The description of the man would suit Hubbard as well:

Barack Obama is a Bad Man
By Jay Clarke

http://www.americanthinker.com/

When he first entered the national political arena, I thought Barack Obama was a sincere man, mistaken in his political beliefs, but an honest advocate of them. Today, like millions of Americans, my evaluation of Barack Obama would be quite different.

Without attempting to go over every policy, speech, and embarrassment to explain what is wrong with the man, I might just sum it up the way that many parents do when teaching their sons and daughters about right and wrong. "Obama," I would say, "is a bad man."

What people do matters. But, who they are determines their behavior. Who they are will express itself in what they do on a consistent, regular basis.

As human beings we all make mistakes. We sin. But, people who are bad make a lifelong, regular habit out of it and have very little, if any, sense of remorse. Actually, they rather enjoy it. There's a sense of autonomy, self-determination, and blazing one's own path that seems to thrive in a person who recognizes no rules but his/her own and no authority other than the desires of his/her own heart.

In his book, People of the Lie, M. Scott Peck tackles a problem that most psychiatrists and therapists avoid. The problem is bad people, or as Peck describes the issue, "evil." Peck concludes that evil people are outside the norm of healthy, human behavior, but they're not crazy or delusional. They're quite sane, which makes them all the more terrifying. They are dysfunctional members of society. In a nutshell, bad people lack two critical human characteristics that the rest of us share and admire.

#1. They lack Honesty. They lie.
Most people lie to prevent embarrassment or to cover an error. It's not a way of life. Bad people lie all the time and about almost everything. It's purposeful and automatic. It's part of who they are. It's how they live, it's how they function, and it's how they manipulate, gain advantage, and achieve success. They lie with reckless abandon and they are really good at it. Mix a little truth into a lie, add some well-contrived sincerity, and it's instantly believable.

We've all met people like this. Something about them sets off alarms in our intuitive brain. We don't know why, but we know they're lying and we're being deceived. If asked to repeat what the lie was, it would be tough to nail down. Bad people are really, really good liars. If challenged, they will back-pedal and change their story until they can find solid ground to stand on which cannot be questioned or refuted. Victory. Trained therapists have a difficult time divining truth from fiction when faced with such a person whose very identity is rooted in half-truths. A common way of referring to these bad people is that they are "like nailing jello to the wall." It's almost impossible to pin them down.

#2. They lack Empathy.
Empathy is the ability to put one's self in the shoes of another, even if only for a moment. To be a good person, empathy is required. It is the essential ingredient in humanity and is deeply embedded in our culture. Americans care. We care because we have empathy. It's in our national DNA. It's in our religious texts. We teach it to our children every day and we gladly help others when we're able because it's the right thing to do.

Bad people view empathy as a weakness to be exploited. But, they do care about themselves. A lot. Passionately. They are the "Me Generation" on steroids. Spouses, children, and friends don't matter. Not really. They're valued only to the extent that they can provide support, praise, honor, and adulation. Bad people live for that. If they cannot garner praise and adoration from their reluctant relatives, it's just as satisfying to intimidate, control, and manipulate them. The ability to instill fear in others is a powerful narcotic to their warped sensitivities. Bad people use and abuse others. They feed off of the insecurities of others and exploit their vulnerabilities. If the targets of their exploitation refuse to show fear or admiration they will be abandoned, family and friends included, with a shocking coldness. The unfortunate souls who find themselves living with these monsters will often develop significant mental, emotional, and physical symptoms. It is a horrific nightmare.

Bad people come to us as sweetness and light, charming, intelligent, confident, and often successful. But, they are chameleons who will say whatever is necessary in order to get what they want and do what they may. No truth. No empathy. No soul. Shape-shifting through life they reinvent themselves to suit their audience so as to be everything to everyone. Inside, they are soulless. Alone. Scared. Afraid of being found out and exposed as a fraud. Their fragile self-image hides behind a facade of confidence, humor, and "I'm above it all." Hence, they appear arrogant, haughty, and cannot bear scorn or reproach.

Barack Obama is one of these bad people. He's dishonest, narcissistic, and pinning him down can be like nailing jello to the wall. He's all things to all people, but he is no one -- an empty vessel. He uses people and then disposes of them when it's expedient. His grandmother, his spiritual mentor, anyone who becomes an inconvenience is thrown under the now infamous bus. He is adept at mockery and ridicule. His arrogance is legendary. His skin is decidedly thin and he cannot bear to be contradicted or challenged. He works, not for the American People but, for himself.

Obama's presidency is a lot like Obama. It's all about him. His needs. His wants. The nation's crises can't compete with his love of golf, parties, or globe-trotting vacations. After all, in his mind, he deserves these creature comforts. Despite his appearance of confidence, Obama's is an empty soul in search of fulfillment. The salve for his wounded heart is the acquisition of raw power. Power that is unimpeded, unopposed, and subject only to the capricious whims of a self-conscious, adolescent boy housed in a middle-aged man's body. Nothing less will do.

Fortunately for us, there's an election in 2012. Unfortunately, there are still Americans willing to reelect this alien that inhabits the White House. They need to know who he really is. Someone needs to tell them just like their mom and dad used to. Someone needs to help them understand.

To all Obama supporters:
America is depending on you, the electorate, to do the right thing. When you vote on November 6th, 2012, please do so carefully. Consider your country. Resist the temptation to vote the party line. America is in trouble and needs a president who believes in America and values Americans. Remember this as you choose your candidate:

Barack Obama is a bad man. A very bad man indeed.

People swear by the processing because it helped them get what they wanted or get rid of stuff they did not want. Many of such people were from Scientology. Alan, in my opinion, was a fantastic researcher, case supervisor, and auditor.

On the other hand, he managed Knowledgism much like LRH managed Scientology. People never complain about effective auditing. They mostly complain about management. In Scientology that would include ethics/justice actions. From what I have gathered in corresponding with Alan, he didn't use ethics/justice. From what I gathered in correspondence with some of his people, he would just get pissed and blow you off.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice, Lakey!

You've hit the nail on the head.

In actuality, the notion of restoring one's encysted spiritual Life-Force that has been trapped in negativity back to positive is, by and large, and omitted datum in most human tech. It's not in $cn: they only practice "get rid of."

In truth, it is a missing point in our education generally. Yet, it is an easy lesson to comprehend when given . . . any person ought be able to get the message when given. All they have to do is observe that a negative condition is changing, and that they have the option of knowingly restoring the encysted "energy" to positive, or of "wasting" it.

Though in actuality, it would not be truly "wasted" but instead would simply float off outside of one's knowing control and direction . . . . but could be recovered with the correct later address.

As a comparable, I posted over on the "Life Between Lives" thread on this theme this morning, here:

I too feel the same way about Obama. To me it seems as if his goal is to switch the USA over to a European Union type of country or welfare state. His feels that the principles stated in the U.S. Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are out of date with today's society and wants them undone.

He seems to have very little understanding of economics and how currency and finances work. He and his appointees subscribe to Keynesian economics. His strong suit is his charisma. He projects himself very well and is able to penetrate a listener's mind and make that listener feel that Obama is talking directly to them.

Everytime I hear a speech of his, I feel releived and feel that he is changing but when the pundits come on and discuss the speech, they reveal that he is up to his same old tricks.

Some of the things which I can't go along with are to give up American exceptionalism, to look at the U.S.A as an overall negative in history and to throw Israel under the bus.

I was raised among liberals, liberal Jews. All my old high school and college friends are liberal. My kids have now gone to University and have their Bachelor's degrees and they are quite liberal. Last Sunday, I was with my kids and then on Monday, played "Boggle" with two high school buddies. All four of these close acquaintances are espousing the liberal line. My Son is unique in that he believes in the liberal line but also has a clear view of the conservative line and concedes a few points to them.

On the Israeli issue, all four of these people want the U.S. to cut their aid to Israel. A couple years ago someone on ESMB suggested that the state of Israel should have been carved out of Germany in 1948 and not out of Palestine. I agreed with this and mentioned it to my Son. I was surprised that he has now adopted this principle!

All four of those people are definitely going to vote for Obama in 2012.

When one looks through all the hoopla, it is easy to see that Obama is working flat out to undo American principles and introduce big government principles and a large degree of socialism into the U.S.. To him it is more important that we burn "green" renewable energy than that our Constitutional freedoms and way of life be preserved.

Obama wants to go down in history just as LRH did. Of course, Obama already has a major place in history as our first Black President but he wants more. He wants to be the one who caused "change" to come permanently to the U.S.A.. This change is going to be represented by a bigger government, distributing wealth among its citizens equitably and penalizing the "rich" which really refers to the "upper middle class". The Democrats have just as many if not more, extremely rich adherents as the Republicans have and the extremely rich have the means at their disposal to get out of paying high taxes. The burden always falls on the hard working upper middle class people. The money will not be there to fund a powerful military anymore, and so forth. Yes, President Obama has Narcissisistic traits.

All my liberal friends and my kids feel that the Republican field of candidates is quite weak. The only candidate who they thought might have a chance was a fringe candidate, Ron Paul. All of these Democrats had a lot of good things to see about him. For some reason, the two women candidates, Sarah Palin and Michele Bachman are reviled, scorned the worst and are not taken seriously.

That President Obama, he is really quite a public speaker and a likeable and clever guy. When those traits are combined with huge charisma, there seem to be no limits to where such a guy can take a nations.

[1.] He seems to have very little understanding of economics and how currency and finances work.

[2.] All four of those people are definitely going to vote for Obama in 2012.

When one looks through all the hoopla, it is easy to see that Obama is working flat out to undo American principles and introduce big government principles and a large degree of socialism into the U.S.. To him it is more important that we burn "green" renewable energy than that our Constitutional freedoms and way of life be preserved.

[3.] Obama wants to go down in history just as LRH did. 1. He has almost no experience. He does not know as much as he pretends. Finally, he is a weak public speaker because he thinks things that he dare not say. Hence the stumbling, bumbling when he goes off teleprompter.

I do not listen to him. If his lips are moving he is lying. I'd rather go puke than suffer 10 seconds of his talk.

2. Sad. Very sad. I hope that support gets so bad for Obama that he declines to run in the next election. Well, as long as I am hoping, I hope he resigns today. Maybe someone will offer him "King of the World." Then he could go away in "victory."

3. That he chooses to call himself "black" speaks to his hidden agenda. He manages by controversy and strife. Community organizing has a lot to do with rabble-rousing. He is actually the nation's first mulatto president. Let's not overlook that.

4. The Republican field is quite strong. In the last debate any one of them would do a better job than Obama, even Sarah Palin who did not attend. But not Jon Huntsman.

I want a candidate that is willing to tear Obama a new asshole, chew him up, spit him out, then send him packing -- all done by intelligent and effective debate of course. If there are no candidates willing to do that then I will consider voting for Obama as the nation hasn't had enough of him yet to see the light.

How did this thread morph into a place for racist rants?

Yes, I am often wrong. Pay no attention to me for if I wished you harm I would wish that Obama be your leader. All hail King Obama! All but me. In that regard I enjoy being excluded, and wrong.

I like being wrong, too. That is why I vote Nader every time. He's the only one with an impressive record who isn't a wholly owned subsidiary of "Wars Are Us"

Well being there I must disagree. Though personally I'm as happy as a clam. :)

I thought Mexico was first from what I read?

Clearly we have demonstrated that there are:-

1] lies
2] Damn lies
3] Statistics
4] CO$ claims.

However CO$ not being a country as such is spared much embarrassment here.
