The very young ones tend to watch me because I enjoy watching them. We spot each other as soon as I walk in the room, even with total strangers. I enjoy the connection. And I recognize them at their core, and as the "pretense" of being a baby. We connect in a special way. I recall being that young once upon a time. It's good fun.
Unfortunately, there are a young ones who are so distressed over their present status, typically due to having spiritual dolts as parents, or getting mixed up with other kids and their now-I'm-supposed-to's, or TV and advertising, that we fail to connect due to the distractions. By the time they enter kindergarten most of them are lost to a quick theta exchange without some concentrated effort on my part.
I am giving away a young lady at her wedding tomorrow. More woggy stuff, right?
Living, it can be good fun with lots of choices on how to manifest.
I used to object to Alan referring to his days as a footballer as chasing bags of wind in his underwear. Then he would go off talking about responsibility, taking one's next step, and all that good stuff. I recognize when a salesman is directing my attention to what he wants to sell. Sure, I can see that windbag/underwear point of view, but why limit the experience to that?
My game was baseball. In that I found much more than taking a stick to hit a horsehide covered ball of string, in my knickers. The game, any good game, presents an opportunity to put one's skills on display with integrity, craftsmanship, love, understanding, commitment, and so on. Any virtue you care to plug in will likely work.
The games are also venues for a learning experience. Baseball taught me patience, drive, taking calculated chances, speed, competitive spirit, some politics, showmanship, and more.
Tomorrow's wedding is another venue to put such theta qualities on display. I am standing in as "Deputy Dad" for a young lady I have known since she was 12. Both of her parents are gone now, and I have the honor of standing in to give her away.
Anyway, this is my philosophy. This is what I do.
Maybe I will have some wedding pictures to post--again, for you ex-SO and SO and staff. Just a reminder that there is life--lots of life--after and without Church of Scientology.
We'll see about those wedding pictures. It's been said that I look like Frank Sinatra in my tux.
