David Miscavige's abuses and violence

David Miscavige forced my former sister in law Laurisse Stuckenbrock to desert my brother Uwe in October 2000.
Uwe had the first symptoms from his severe multiple sclerosis in 1988. He was not allowed to go to a neurologist regulary as it would have been necessary for him to have a chance against this illness. In fact he went to a neurologist for the first time in 1996 - eight years too late. This doctor told him that this could be multiple sclerosis but no treatment plan was designed. Uwe had to continue working stressfull 100 hour weeks with one or two days off in a year doing hard work in deep pits and on roofs of the International Headquarters of the Church of Scientology near Hemet having two severe accidents - one time he broke his leg, the next time he hurt his head very bad. Multiple Sclerosis is affecting the organ of equilibrium negativly - in my opinion it is a crime to force somebody with multiple sclerosis to work at very dangerous places without any safety precaution.
In 1998 Uwe blew from the Int Base - just like Mark Headley on his motorbike. But Uwe was not as lucky as Marc. They caught him very soon and Laurisse lured him back. After his failed escape he was locked up in the RPF in "Happy Valley" later he was sent to the PAC RPF in the "Blue Building" in Los Angeles. Then in October 2000 Laurisse came into her office and ordered Claire Headley to prepare the divorce papers. Claire told me that Lou had tears in her eyes while she asked her to do this.
As I explained above Uwe was imprisoned in the RPF at the time with no chance at all to appear before the court in Riverside where the case was assigned to department H5. Laurisse tried to get a judgement of default without Uwe appearing on several occasions. Finally she succeded in getting a divorce by default - of course Uwe never appeared. Three days after Christmas 2001 the divorce became legally valid. After Uwe got the letter he said to a friend: "I just want to hear three words from her - this would ease my pain" He loved her so dearly.
In 2002 we were informed about his illness - this was 14 years after the first symptoms. Uwe was forced to lie to his mother, brother and sister for 14 years. In the RPF there was always a security person with him when he called us back. We were not able to talk to him without somebody there who controlled what he said to us. Uwe died in 2008 45 years young. The pictures below show Laurisse with David Miscavige - she is COB Communicater for about more than 25 years now and many people say that she is even much more for him.

Tell me his name
I want to know
The way he looks
And where you go
I need to see his face
I need to understand
Why you and I came to an end

Tell me again
I want to hear
Who broke my faith in all these years
Who lays with you at night
When I'm here all alone
Remembering when I was your own

[Chorus:]
I let you go
I let you fly
Why do I keep on asking why
I let you go
Now that I found
A way to keep somehow
More than a broken vow

Tell me the words I never said
Show me the tears you never shed
Give me the touch
That one you promised to be mine
Or has it vanished for all time

[Chorus]

I close my eyes
And dream of you and I
And then I realize
There's more to love than only bitterness and lies
I close my eyes

I'd give away my soul
To hold you once again
And never let this promise end

[Modified Chorus:]
I let you go
I let you fly
Now that I know I’m asking why
I let you go
Now that I found
A way to keep somehow
More than a broken vow

Uwe and Laurisse - one can feel the love between them while watching these pictures

It's pretty obvious that posts in this thread, reminding others that the deceit and abuses started with Hubbard, are viewed as "Dev-T" by some.

I can understand the strategic value of concentrating on Miscavige, but cannot overlook the desire of Independent Scientology to re-write History, with Hubbard the hero, surrounded by "SPs," busy undermining his work, until the ultimate "SP," David Miscavige, came along and "hijacked" the "only hope for Man."

So, I'll drop a post in now and then as a reminder of Scientology's actual pre-Miscavige history, and a reminder of its actual pre-Miscavige doctrine. :)

That's cool, I started this thread to specifically highlight what Miscavige is doing and Karen #1 has posted exactly what I hoped someone would have the patience to do. Thankyou Karen.

I am totally with you Veda on the origins of the disgusting abuse and crimes and it doesn't hurt to be reminded of that.

Both of their post are important
The reader\lurker can make his\her own opinion or digg deeper if necessary to get more informations about the LRH possible root of abuses as true or false.

Thank's to both for all the information

Do we live in the middle ages ?
Can medieval punishments be implemented with no law enforcement
Intervention in this new millenium?

The RPF (Punishment Prison Gulag) is worse than anything that can be said in words.

I was in it and I speak from having been IN it, not from the outside.
It is an intensely humiliating experience.
The practice of disconnection and shunning is done within the Sea Org
from Sea Org Members to RPFers. No communication permitted.
Spouse divorces the RPFer.
Instead of this program taking a few months, it now takes YEARS and YEARS.
As much as 8 to 10 years.
It is cruel.
It is heavy manual labor, with almost no pay.
An RPFer is at the mercy of his seniors within the RPF and is cut off from the world.
It is similar to a leper colony in the sense that that an RPFer is deemed a lower level
human.
If an RPFer is seen on the street, a Sea Org Member would avert their eyes and avoid looking
at the RPFer.
Because David Miscavige enjoys sadism and punishments, the RPF, the absolute bottom of the food chain
has taken "shit runs downhill" to a whole new meaning !

So the Story of Uwe Stuckenburg is painful and heartbreaking. Dead at 45 years after some years in the RPF with a serious medical condition.
Former Chief of Security at INT Base or "GOLD Base" whatever name for the
Church of Scientology main corporate headquarters, the home of David Miscavige who lives like a rock star
in a multi-million dollar palace.
No mercy. No compassion. No release from the RPF. His wife Laurisee is David Miscavige's closest aide and enabler and more.
Uwe left behind a family in emotional agony. Marcus who posts on this board and a MOM, Mrs Stuckenbruck neither of whom were given the full information of the death of UWE, Sea Org Member for 20 + Years or so.

Here is Uwe in happier days.

UWES2.jpg

How does one die in the RPF abandoned by his wife at 45 ?

...to be continued

Dear Karen,

thank you for posting Uwes story here. Stuckenburg is a funny name :)
If I would try to translate it it would be something like "Piececastle":coolwink:
And Stuckenbruck would be "Piecebridge"

Please note that our name is Stuckenbrock - but no problem - I found this "misspelling" quite funny:yes:

Let's IGNORE L RON HUBBARD and what he did doesn't work for me.
As much as I like to see DM blasted, ignoring hubbard can only go so far before
it looks a bit shaky to me. Why does Hub get off scott free (it seems) and poor little DM, who is only trying to save Mankind has to take all the flak.
What did the little midget do that LRH didn't do to deserve that?

UWE Stuckenbruck

During the 29 years in the Sea Organisation and until his death, Uwe was only able to visit his family once. Although in his telephone calls, he assured us he always wanted to visit us. I can remember two telephone calls around 1997 with Uwe when he clearly said that he could not travel because the Sea Org feared he would leave.

Shortly after this diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 1996, his wife Laurisse left him so that she could continue her Sea Org career at the side of David Miscavige, the current leader of Scientology as his personal assistant.
An unimpeachable witness has subsequently disclosed that not only were Shelly and the celebrity perceptive in suspecting that DM was engaging in Out Ethics activity, he was doing it in ostentatious style, courtesy of his buddy Tom Cruise.

On long flights aboard Cruise’s personal jet, DM and Lou would retire for hours on end to Tom’s bedroom cabin, a cabin that is outfitted only for the purpose of lying upon the bed.

Incredulous that one can STEAL a man's wife and send the man to the GULAG ~~ THE RPF.

LRH was a much better con-man. He learned how to rob a person while oozing so much syrupy 'goodness' that they loved him even as he drained away all their assets, and made them fear imagined enemies.

David Miscavige is not good at the con-man role, and can only use brute force while he tries to retain control over the lives that were actually dedicated to LRH. Virtually nobody loves David Miscavige: he's no L Ron Hubbard.

LRH scammed some people in such a silky-smooth way that they still love him, thirty years later. It really was one of the 20th century's most audacious cons - and some of his victims are still re-writing history to protect his name.

Incredible how thoroughly Scientology can mess up one's judgment.

Thanks, Free to Shine. :)

When I made the post I wasn't even thinking of you having started the thread, but was responding to some Hubbard-fan-club-and/or-Marty-Rathbun people (some of whom haven't even posted on this thread) from whom I've received signals/"vibes" of disapproval for my occasion posts.

But, if it's OK with you, every once in a rare while, I'll chime in with some additional information, but will keep it to a minimum.

By the way, it just occurred to me that I also have a fair amount of personal experience with Miscavige-era Scientology - having dealt with his TR-L-applying personnel from "Golden Era Studios," and his leather-jacketed thugs; having been stalked and subpoenaed by his Private Investigators, and questioned by his lawyers at depositions and in court.

It's just that I recognize that he's a clone - albeit a smaller somewhat shriveled-up one, sans imagination - of Hubbard, and is "on-Source" much more than he is "off-Source."

Sorry I have to disagree here. In my opinion David can cheat people who are not too close to him as good as Hubbard did. My father for example is loving him and thinks he is a godlike being which will save Scientology and the world. Well my father is how many miles away from the obvious abuses of David while working in Stuttgart Org?

If we look at the number of people who worked very close with Hubbard we will see that most of them are out now and were able to recognize the fraud because they saw very clearly that Hubbard was an abusive con man. Just as all the Independent Scientologists can see the crimes of David these days because most of them were working very close to him.

Dear Markus,

I'm sorry to hear that you still have a family member suffering under Scientology. One day, I hope the scam will have been revealed to all its victims, and that it will be impossible to ruin anymore lives.

I appreciate that Miscavige is not completely unable to deceive. However, his 'dark side' is much nearer the surface than that of LRH was. Hubbard would consign people to dreadful punishments and then claim he had "just become aware of the practice..." when he ended the punishment, always trying to appear to be the good guy. Miscavige, on the other hand, particularly enjoys being directly associated with the bullying - as we see in his psychotic "musical chairs" episode, for example.

Miscavige is not the saviour of Scientology. He's presiding over its decline. (Ron would have freshened the scam up a little by now, claiming that Dianetics could solve all the 21st century worries and ills... instead, it remains rooted firmly in the Cold War. Something that I don't mind a bit, as it ensures the ultimate failure of the cult.) Miscavige the 'saviour' isn't even a Scientologist. When was the last time he audited, or underwent auditing? Wouldn't the ultimate Scientologist have more service completions, too? How can we expect Midget Davey to unravel the secrets of Super Power, when he isn't OT8 himself?

Meh. Hubbard would have been a lot smoother, and the decline in Scientology's membership would have been slower. He would have continued to appear on TV, and he would have carried on writing more nonsense courses, to keep people from waking up to the scam. In fact... all in all, I approve of his being replaced by the ineffective, alcoholic dwarf!

HY Levy ~~ This is Part One.

Ex-Flag Service Org Reg on camera with the St. Petersburg Times reveals a lot.

hy.jpg

It is Hy levy's abuse within the Sea Org that I will focus on.
It is recent.
It is a deep insight into what is laughingly called

The Mecca of Technical Perfection

Hy Levy lived in terror of what would happen if he didn't make his number, a weekly sales target of $200,000. The money was due every Thursday by 2 p.m.

No excuses.

Often when he failed, his bosses exiled him to the kitchen to scrub pots. Sometimes they made him eat only beans and rice for a week. They publicly humiliated him, calling him a loser, a saboteur. They got in his face, screaming, swearing. You soulless bastard!

He said they used profanity a lot where he worked: the Church of Scientology

Registrars who failed to secure cash or meet a quota could expect punishments.

The church might feed them only beans and rice.

They were sometimes made to sleep in "pigs' berthing" — shabby rooms with no air conditioning and a mattress on the floor.

At weekly sessions called "Flaps and Handlings," supervisors vilified them, making them confess their failings in front of hundreds of co-workers.

"You got to go up there and bare your soul to the crew," Levy said. "It's a degrading, horrible thing."

Often when Levy failed at work, West sent him to the galley at the Sandcastle Hotel. One minute he was working with banks and brokerage houses, the next he was elbow-deep in a sink of dirty pots, an apron covering his shirt and tie. To keep from slipping, he pulled on boots if he could find a pair.

Levy said he preferred those penalties to the ridicule he often got from West and other supervisors.

He described the things they screamed at him: "If you don't pull this off, I'm going to make your life a living hell!" … "Scumbag!" ... "Motherf----r!"

When he didn't make his number, they said he had an "evil purpose" to hurt Scientology. He was "CI" — short for "counterintentioned" — about the church's advancement.

"It would push me to tears," Levy said. "I was, I thought, a pretty decent, strong person. But it demolished me."

Many on this board have heard of the RPF. Some, like me, actually experienced the overwhelm, the confinement, the sadism and increasing punishment threats and the humiliation.

I was in an Org where every muster 3 times a day the RPF was threatened for non-performance.

It is a psychotic way to live. THREATEN and THREATEN and ATTACK your own workers.
The RPF is a leper colony where you are cut off from the outside world, with cold left overs to eat,
rice and beans, reduced sleep, heavy hard manual labor with the threat of the RPF's RPF around the corner.

It is total lock down. No days off, no communication to the outside world.
It is medieval punishment.

Here is what is incomprehensible. The "Church" knows damn well the program does not work. You cannot find
one single success story or any person made well or made into a productive staff member from having done the RPF program.

On the other hand, a HUGE vast amount FLEE (blow), route out, find a medical excuse or some excuse to leave AFTER or mid the RPF.

The RPF wakes people up to the DARKER side of the Church. It not only does not give results, it causes further disintegration even of the more loyal hard core who reach a threshold and depart.

INTBASEFENCE.jpg

The turnover is incredible.
Every year on "Sea Org Day" the staff are asked to stand up to be applauded for longevity.

One year in Sea Org

2 Years in the Sea Org

8% stand up

3 years in the Sea Org

4% stand up

4 years in the Sea Org

(you can do a finger count)

7 years in the Sea Org

Finger Count

8 years in the Sea Org

2 handfuls.

9 or more years in the Sea Org

NOTE : exceptions to this are INT BASE where they are all in lock down and cannot escape.
The Sea Org is a revolving door
You join. You get clobbered. You move on
Other more stupid ones like myself stayed almost 2 decades. (trapped because of marriage and kid)

Hy Levy ~~ Part 2

hylevy1.jpg

Then there was the time, in about 1991 I think, when the org was under heavy ethics. It was announced that each day at lunch muster an individual would be sent to the RPF. This was insane and reminiscent of some kind of NAZI purge. Each day we would go to muster, knowing someone, anyone, it could even be you, would find out they were being sent to the RPF. This was for anything that ran the gamut of the ethics book codes from errors, on up. After seeing the kinds of insignificant reasons that a person was sent, each person then went into terror knowing any mistake they made could be a reason for being sent to the RPF. And you wouldn’t know about it or have a clue until it was announced to the whole crew at muster that day. The person was then carted off by security then and there to the RPF. You can imagine what the atmosphere was like.

At this time there was also a heavy ethics atmosphere at the base (again this was around ’91 – ’93 time period) and each night the entire crew went to a briefing where COB (DAVID MISCAVIGE)detailed the items that were discovered that day about out-ethics on the base. That night the subject was me. I was named as if I was doing something illegal, out-ethics and off-policy and as if it was something I was hiding that had now been exposed. It was made into such a crime that the gasps from the rest of the crew were loudly audible at the mention of the heinous out-ethics I was involved in. It was as if I was the only person doing this and as if it was all very hush-hush and a secret (all reges did this with other staff and especially D of P’s). At the end DM gave an “amnesty” to cover anyone else who might have been involved in this. This was the end of the “bird dog system”, a system prominently displayed in BLS, the book LRH chose to make the “bible” on how to successfully reg (ref LRH ED 236 INT where he specifies that the why for low GI was the lack of use of the tech in this book).

Hy Levy ~~ Part 3
I am keeping all the ABUSE together on this thread

HYLEVY2.jpg

"Church" Criminality revealed. Financial irregularities

The bulk of the time was like “Night of the Living Dead”. Many times, if you were behind quota, you were told to work through the event, selling on the phone to people in other time zones and that you would “see the event later” (which often didn’t happen). In any event, the after event evolutions became more and more gruesome. We would see the people after the event and try to make the quota. When that failed, around midnight or so, we would then get on the phones and call the west coast where it was 3 hours earlier, then Australia, Europe, etc. This went on until we made the quota (which almost never happened as the quotas themselves were unrealistic) or until someone figured out a way to present what we had done as a “highest ever event release” and would get us OK to go home. Usually about 3 am.

Now you would think that would be enough to make a horror movie out of. But there was more. As I mentioned earlier, our only hope to get home at some decent hour was to do “pre-event sales” like starting a day before the event.

<snip>. It was like some sadistic game where you had your hands tied, tape over your mouth, and you were expected to produce.

This all changed when the Basics were released. For me this was the beginning of the end that led to me routing out. The Basics release was the “release event that never ended”. The intensity of this release was about 100 times that of a normal release….and it just kept going. In fact it continued until the day I left (and is probably still going on).

I was a bit of a “black sheep” on this evolution, and this actually got to be well known. The pressure to sell was beyond anything I had seen in my more than 2 decades at the FSO. The quota’s themselves fostered criminality since a staff member HAD to make their quota OR ELSE. So they did anything and everything needed in order to “report” that they had made a sale. Some of the illegal things that occurred during this period were:

Debitting money for books from account without authorization

Repackaging started packages of intensives to make money available for books (a practice that up until this time was considered a gross financial irregularity if a reg ever did this).

“Finding” unused hours in PC folders that could be re recreditted to the account and would be IF they donated a portion toward Basics (this ended up being the scam of all scams which put back on account money that didn’t exist at all and actually cost the org hundreds of thousands of dollars as they were debiting money that wasn’t there for books that then had to be paid to the book account from current income. Shooting themselves in the foot comes to mind as a phrase).

Scams like promising the person that if they buy the many Basics packages being demanded that “someone else will sell them for you and put the money back on your account” (in the instances I got to know about on this, every one of those was an outright lie).

Arranging for one person to loan another person the money for buying several Basics packages just to “bridge” the money until that person got their money and paid them back.
