Miscavige ordered that Guillaume divorce his wife of some 30 years Vanella.
He did what he was ordered to do.
Vanella Lesevre was kicked out of INT Base.
She had been Scientology staff/Sea Org for some 25 years.
Miscavige has ordered at least 100 couples to divorce (probably a lot more) and they have meekly complied.
about 1 year ago Guillaume's 2 grown up daughters were permitted to visit him at Gold Base.

Veda, Gerry has gotten almost 30 years of PR mileage out of Judge Breckenridge's 1984 quote. However, subsequent judges in the Armstrong case have not given this quote any weight whatsoever.
Why?
For example, Marin Superior Court ruled definitively against Gerry in 2007. Why did Judge Duryee dismiss Gerry's motion for an evidentiary hearing?

I had posted Scott's story earlier on this thread. Here is a repeat summary
Freewinds is registered in Panama and on the high seas maybe out of the jurisdiction of many Law Enforcement agencies.
There are numerous horror stories which leak from Freewinds from time to time. I have a few of them. I did want to add a little on Scott Campbell.

There has been no refutation of Judge Breckenridge's observations. The court ruling you present does not change anything. What a weak argument.
Judge Breckenridge's comments are powerful because they are true. Yes, of course, the Scientologists then, just as now, don't like them. The Scientologists see it as a "besmirching of L. Ron Hubbard's good name," etc. but the rest of us see wisdom, insight, and courage in those comments.
Karen keeps asking how could this happen? How could someone like David Miscavige have become the leader of Scientology, etc. Again and again she asks.
I answered her once before. Others have answered her, but she's not interested in hearing those answers.
This time, I provided the wise words of Judge Breckenridge.
Then you appear, going on about the hated enemy of Scientologists - both inside and outside of the CofS - Gerry Armstrong, as if Armstrong was responsible for Judge Breckenridge's observations, when his observations were the result of the testimony of many witnesses, and many documents that were viewed and reviewed.

Isn't the correct and honest answer "because Miscavige is a perfect fit with the mold created by Hubbard"?
That Miscavige is simply doing his best to "get Scientology to succeed" following and adhering to LRH's exact policies, orders and directives on how to do so?
The bigger question is how can SO MANY people be the recipient of such mental and emotional abuse, over such long periods of time, at INT, in the Sea Org, in Class IV orgs, and as Scientology public, and remain so horribly BLIND and STUPID so as 1) not to see the incredible contradictions and 2) NOT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT (at least "leave")?
Hubbard's "Schizophrenia" gets transferred to every Scientology member, but in a slighty diffferent version. They have on the one hand the 1) dreams, lies, fantasy of higher states, delusions that we are the "good people making a better world", ideals, make-believe whole track, etc., and 2) the world of ACTUAL events and situations that largely shows number 1 to be false. Hubbard gets any member to create a strange mental construct known as the "Scientology paradigm". IT takes precedence over ALL honest observations and facts. It supercedes perception, because the Scientology believer operates on FIXED IDEAS, and NOT on "honest observation". Hubbard's many many assertions and claims about a great many things comprise these "fixed ideas".
The "cognitive dissonance" exists because of Hubbard's amazing ability to get people to supplant honest observations with the demands and assertions of himself, the leaders of Scientology and management. Hubbard set it up THAT way. It can't be any other way.
Miscavige's version of Scientology, while unique to him and his personality, is not THAT different than what ANY "leader" can do when presented with all of Hubbard's extant directions and orders on how to "run the organization and expand Scientology". Hubbard set the mold for "living or dying in the attempt to save Earth", and he built right into the subject materials the insane fanaticism.
Hubbard wrote the policies on what ARE "suppresive acts". Such as "denigrating a Scientology official" or "spreading rumors about Scientology leaders". Miscavige simply APPLIES Hubbard's exact policies, and he applies them VERY well. COB declares ANYONE who disagrees with him or talks badly of him.
THIS is Miscavige's primary fault. He IS a Scientologist, and he appears to take it all "very seriously".

STACY YOUNG Part One
I recall meeting Stacy Young for the first time in the late 1970s.
She was a well loved Interne Supervisor at AOLA.
I liked her immediately. Stacey rose up fast to be posted at Author Services
where she was in direct contact with Miscavige and witnessed the temper tantrums, the beginnings of the sadism, beatings, punchings, and very high misconduct.
I connected with Stacy in a special way in the early 80s because we were both in the RPF in Los Angeles. She was the I/C of the entire RPF, and I was the MAA ! (RPF Ethics officer).
(I was only there with Stacy 3 months before I was yanked out and my RPF assignment cancelled.)
I heard soon after that she and Vaughn had blown. While I am not fully apprised of all Stacy did is testifying against the Church, and know little about the LMT etc, I feel that Stacy was ahead of her time. She was brave and courageous. A lone ranger.
Nowadays you can snap your fingers and have 140 ex-sea org willing to talk to media/testify/talk with law enforcement.
It wasn't like that when Stacy stood up to whistle blow.

A note on Departure and Exiting the Sea Organization.
Nothing seems to frazzle the Sea Org more than someone fleeing the flock.
There is really something odd about EXITING the Church as I look back on it from the outside.
First of all, confinement is THE top and penalty of first order. Lock em down with tight tight security in the RPF or DPF (Deck Project force.) No cell phone, no communication permitted to the outside world ~~ hide them away in some lower level out-of-vision of the Public area.
If a person blows the Sea Organization, there is something called BLOW DRILL.
BLOW DRILL deputizes 20 to 50 staff to go in pursuit of the fleeing Sea org member to retrieve him back.
They honestly feel they have the power of a Federal Marshall to bring someone one into Sea Org Custody !
From confessional folders, ethics files, OSA files, staff applications, every known relative, friend, pre-staff connection is gotten hold of and the person is tracked down like trackers pursuing a felon. Blow Drill can take 3 days to 3 weeks til the escapee is brought back. Extreme falsehoods are told such as "come back and route out standardly and we will not SP declare you and "forgive" you your freeloader bill and permit you to have communication with family with no disconnection etc etc. etc.
But the poor sucker will now return to endure mind numbing police polygraph "Sec checks." This will go on for months. A little further back on this thread I revealed that Hy Levy took 19 months of asking to leave before they would "permit" him to depart.
What religion carries on like this ?
There is no religion that ABUSES with intense atrocity and holds on to them for dear life !
Why do they hold on so tight ? What are they so paranoid about departures?
I believe their biggest dread is the departing member revealing what goes on within.
As the Sec Checking occurs, the person asking to leave is put on HEAVY manual labor, with no pay.
They are under intense security watch. The Security Check is only deemed complete when the person has confessed to enough crimes or transgressions to satisfy the Church,
The Church's ONLY explanation for anyone wanting to leave is that they are CRIMINAL with UNDISCLOSED CRIMES of magnitude. When OSA and RTC consider when they have enough ‘dirt’ on the person so they know they can blackmail them into silence should they ever decide to expose what they know. They are then allowed to ‘route out.’

Then comes more bullet proofing to "protect the Church"

Well Hy Levy spoke out and spoke out in great depth to the St. Pete TIMES ON camera proving how worthless the "Psych Ops" of these enforced gag orders are. The person receives no copies of these agreements. They are legally hogwash – their main purpose is to intimidate.

They are dumped, quite literally, on the street. More recently they receive $500 severance pay for having worked for cents per hour while the "Church" is feathering their nest egg of $1.5 billion in one account alone by the blood, sweat and tears of Sea Org members.

+++++Anonymous phone calls (OSA stock-in-trade) were made maliciously to her landlord that her cats were disease spreading felines.
+++++the whole neighborhood had been leafleted with a 15-page smear about Stacy and Vaughn handed out door to door with character assassination and a tissue of lies.
+++++A anonymous death threat on these orphaned animals was then placed on their doorstep.
+++++Then it escalated to calling Animal control to raid the house, in order to confiscate and euthanize the animals.
+++++Scientology PI David Lee was used to spread the lie that Stacy and Vaughn we were under investigation for animal abuse, that the animals were being kept in filthy conditions.

I am guessing that every girl has one close girl friendship of a lifetime.
Jeanie was probably my closest friend in my Sea Org years.
We were fellow internes on the Apollo and our lives intertwined through the years.
We did the RPF together. We ran around the pole 12 hours a day (staggering for most of it) together. We traveled across the USA together driving from Clearwater to Los Angeles.
She was once the wife of BILL FRANKS (former ED INT who joined this board lately)
Then she married the former CO Munich Jens Bogvad who died tragically of cancer at 48.
I had already exited the Sea Org but accompanied Jeanie to his cancer treatments and
then after he died, Jeanie came to my home in Glendale and hid out with me for a couple of weeks before returning to the Sea Org.
The old fork in the road.
We went in opposing directions.
Jeanie, still loyal, still raising money for Cincinnati Ideal Org ~~
and here I am a happy free DECLARED SP posting away at the ABUSES and ATROCITIES.

While on post as the Commanding officer of AOSHUK in the early 90s she made a couple of phone calls to Janis Grady (daughter of Peter Gilham) who had fled INT BASE when she was being forced to abort her pregnancy.
Miscavige spies reported to him that Jeanie has SPOKEN to Janis.
Jeanie was summoned to INT Base.
She was put in an isolated cabin.
It was for 3 months that she was sec checked some 7-8 hours a day
with no communication to anyone other than her Sec Checker.
Her food was put through a slot by a security guard.
Jeanie described these 3 months as her "Valley of the Shadow of Death." I know the damage it caused her spiritually and "psychologically."
But she is still raising $$$$ for Miscavige's Real Estate.
I do not feel anyone, anywhere, anytime deserves to be locked in a cabin and police polygraph sec checked with no communication to the outside world for 12 weeks at a time, 8 hours a day. I consider that SADISTIC ABUSE.
