Possible child molestation charges OC org via Karen #1

The most OSA would ever do is offload the molester, if they thought he was a potential future liability. Their ideal resolution is it just gets buried, with no police involvement. OSA's stats are negatively impacted if there is police involvement, since the incident would appear on the "police blotter" section of the local newspaper, with potential for a negative news report.

I saw this happen in an org when a staff member molested the 9 year old daughter of another staff member. They just offloaded him.

Pretty sure that if the fucker was rich they'd hide him out whilst milking the livin' shit outta him, its the 'way up the bridge' after all, and 'We can make it go right!', um, yeh....:duh: If there isn't any gain, no money? Be assured the wheels on the Cos bus will crush you and spit ya out to your own.
It has been knownfor a while, and there are more and more testimonies to support this, that LRon's cult is a frikken petri-dish for molesters and rapists, hells-bells, they rape your mind, why stop there?
Hubbard was a sick bastard, the more that get this ak the better imho.

(search it, many personal stories, mostly frikken heart-breaking)

There's a Marc William Renard on the DOJ's National Sex Offender Registry, but the perp is African-American and lives in Miami... not the Scilon in OC.

The person alleged to have molested Maggie's daughter is Marc William Renard, a resident of Tustin, CA.

https://www.facebook.com/renardm

He's a real winner. 6 traffic convictions in the last decade and one pending (filed on 8/27/12) for driving without insurance (OC Case # 2012-38541PS)

He was sued is Small Claims court this year by a music company (A Fred Gillett Music) for $1500 & lost on default - Renard didn't bother to answer the complaint or appear in court.

Likewise, in 2008.. he lost a small claims case -he didn't bother to respond to that one either. (Kevin's Jewelers/Sabie Acceptance, Inc. vs. Marc William Renard).

Marc W. Renard is not to be confused with Marc D. Renard, of Cushman & Wakeman, who is a defendant in a legal matter, which he & two other defendants lost their case. They are appealing.

Marc D. Renard has never been associated with Scientology.

Maggie M. posted a comment on the Orange County Weekly article on Paulien Lombard.

majjiemoyer posted: (September 26, 2012)

"WTG Paulien! Now that I am in agreement, im SURE I will be "watched", probably declared but in reality... its just a piece of paper! Paulien is one of the sweetest kindest people I know. Her children were the same. Very sweet family, loving, caring, and helped their church anyway they could. Just like Luis Garcia who donated 1.3 million dollars for the building the church cannot afford, spotted outpoints and wrote them up as LRH stated to do in HCO PL "KNOWLEDGE REPORTS" and he gets declared as his reports were on David Mascavige.

I have my own story, its not yet known, but im sure it will be soon. I await my beautiful piece of golden rod! I even have a frame picked out for it! ;)"

Accusing someone of molesting a child is a serious matter requiring more than just a public statement of accusation by an ex-wife. Until we see that charges have indeed been pressed against this guy, I'm not taking it as fact.

They're probably afraid of being "fair gamed". It's better to go to the police first. Once there is a police report, any harassment against the person reporting a crime becomes "obstruction of justice" and potentially invites serious police investigation.

I would add, as a sample, the Florida statute regarding witness tampering, where somebody who attempts to intimidate, harass, or bribe a witness to a crime, is liable to penalties up to life in prison (depending on the severity of the crime the witness was to testify about):

914.22 Tampering with or harassing a witness, victim, or informant; penalties.

(1) A person who knowingly uses intimidation or physical force, or threatens another person, or attempts to do so, or engages in misleading conduct toward another person, or offers pecuniary benefit or gain to another person, with intent to cause or induce any person to:

(a) Withhold testimony, or withhold a record, document, or other object, from an official investigation or official proceeding;

(b) Alter, destroy, mutilate, or conceal an object with intent to impair the integrity or availability of the object for use in an official investigation or official proceeding;

(c) Evade legal process summoning that person to appear as a witness, or to produce a record, document, or other object, in an official investigation or an official proceeding;

(d) Be absent from an official proceeding to which such person has been summoned by legal process;

(e) Hinder, delay, or prevent the communication to a law enforcement officer or judge of information relating to the commission or possible commission of an offense or a violation of a condition of probation, parole, or release pending a judicial proceeding; or

(f) Testify untruthfully in an official investigation or an official proceeding,

commits the crime of tampering with a witness, victim, or informant.

(2) Tampering with a witness, victim, or informant is a:

(a) Felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, where the official investigation or official proceeding affected involves the investigation or prosecution of a misdemeanor.

Other states have similar laws, as well as there being comparable federal laws.

Wait just a minute, this was in the email from the OP.

“that has done this a few times now, not to just my daughter”

To me this reads as the mother knew of other instances before her daughter. I sure as hell hope I have had a brain fart and this is not the case.

If this is truly the case, the mother needs to report it to the police. So far, there have been no charges brought against Mr. Renard (that I could find in criminal record searches) either in California or Minnesota, where Renard & his parents hails from.

If I read right earlier in the the thread, the mother did make a report to the org ( hopefully in writing which she kept a copy of ! ) of the alleged child molestation and the org person refused to even talk to the guy about it.

If that is correct, the "church" is in violation of the law that requires reporting of child molestation and ( I believe ) alleged or suspected child molestation. This is a point the "church" continues ro feel it is above and a point that makes them extremely vunerable.

Here is hoping they get reported for this law breaking - and that it leads to better protection of what we consider children and they consider "thetans with small bodies".

Anyone else see this over at OCMB? Are these names familiar? This is from her post at "Discussion of Abuses at Int Base/Riverside" thread from today.

Hmm... Just a few days ago, I said in a private conversation kinda related to this topic: "The cult will gladly protect any child molester, as long as the molester is "upstat". If they're not "upstat", they'll be offloaded.

Thanks for proving my point - and a sour thanks that is, now I'm angry.

I don't understand it. Write a report?! Fuck that. If it happened to my child, or to my niece, or my nephew, or my best friend's baby, my first instinct would be to draw blood. Lots of it, until whatever I was bleeding stopped moving.
<snip>

Why not extend it to any child?

Ask Penn State how important it is for an organization not to hide a report of child molestation. If police reports can be made, and it can be proven CoS knew and covered it up, then this is a national story.

And "stats" are based on giving the cult money.

Selling protection to a child molestor ? Done by the most ethical group on the planet !

Hmmm.

I hope she files and quickly. I've heard enough rumors about big thetans in little bodies to think that molestation coverups alone could bring the entire thing down.

I've long said the absolutely most vunerable point they have is the years - decades - of covering up the sexual molestation of children.

One day it will be exposed and it could damn well put them out of business.

It will go viral as hundreds of "instances" get made known.

I don't know much about the laws of counties other than the one I live in, but I think what happened decades ago, is, sadly, pretty insignificant nowadays. You know, statute of limitations and all that Jazz.

Well, several cases of child molestation have already been exposed. Did e.g the Jan Eastgate case have a significant impact? What about Karen#1's son Alexander? She's been quite vocal about him having been molested, and although it might have had some impact, it still wasn't significant. What about Tommy Gorman's wife? She has been molested by a higher-up Scilon (Jeff Quieros, IIRC) as well, when she was still a child. AFAIK, the molester was offloaded, some money went from one pocket to another, and that was it. Impact: Almost none. A quick search for the story on this board came up empty, why is that? I'm pretty certain Tommy had been here and had talked about this story, but where is it now?

How many more children have to be molested, abused, or neglected, before something happens, that really has an impact of appropriate magnitude?

If Suri Cruise had been molested, and if that had been dragged though all mainstream media around the world, it might have had an impact, but that will not happen. I wouldn't wish that on the kid anyway.

I don't expect the big blow, that kills the cult once and for all, ever to happen. But speaking out, informing people, politicians, media, will help to slowly drown that pesky cult out.

The law needs to get involved, period.

Get child molestation into court & some hard proof then the media will get on it.

No, that is NOT the way it "should" be, but, it is what it takes.

At Penn State it was swept under the rug UNTIL it got to arrests & court, then, BOOM !

It will happen with scn. Somebody will push it to court.

A couple of exes have hinted that the child molestation claims are probably false & a demonstration of the accuser's towards an ex-husband, and that if someone knew her child had been sexually molested, that person would immediately file a report with the police, and not just hint at it in an email.

There has been no indication that a police report has been filed anywhere in Orange County since Karen posted the email. Maggie M. joined ESMB & started a thread that she was OUT, but when queried whether she filed a police report, she neither responded or posted here again.

That has raised questions in a few people's minds. Accusing someone of sexual molestation is a very serious matter. If a child claims it happened, then immediate action needs to take place with law enforcement & child welfare.

However, falsely accusing someone of sexual molestation, which happens in alot in heated divorce & child custody cases, is also a very serious matter.
