The differences between Sea Org, Staff, Public and there's one more difference Celebs vs general public.
At Celebrity Center they have their own private sauna, their own private "President's Office" for consultancy and are never SP Holed despite the LIES told to the BBC of all treated equally.

A person the Church discovers who is being externally influenced is segregated from others and sent to the Public *Ethics* officer to identify his INFLUENCES for OSA (Office of Special Affairs") handlings. It can cost $50,000 to $100,000 in Sec checks (confessionals) These Sea org members, Ethics Officers and OSA INT Sea org members are not on drugs. They are not on alcohol. They are stone cold sober. Stone cold obsessive. Stone cold paranoid on outside influences that could burst the Bubble.

In other words, the Church wants to be the ONLY influence and considers *ANY* influence other that fundamental Hubbard's doctrines to be insidious, predatory, stretching with octopus tentacles into Church rank and file and negatively INFLUENCING the mind set. Scientology is basically a culture of isolation. Hence the Public and staff are forbidden to read the Internet. Sea Org members are not even permitted to go their local library, leave alone surf the web.

Parents who demand some Christmas/Thanksgiving time with their own children (that they have turned over to the Sea org) are considered "external Influences". Sending gifts. money to own kids can be viewed as such.

This is carried on to such an absurd degree, that almost ANYTHING that is not 100% Scientology or Sea Org 24/7/365 can be deemed an "EXTERNAL INFLUENCE".

In Part 2 of this Video I will explain "Rollback technology" that the Church dramatizes with inquisitions and investigations on these "EXTERNAL INFLUENCES" that Scientology feels is *corrupting* the purity of total devotion to Scientology at the level of sacrifice of every thing else.​

Not sure what you mean.
Now that Sea Org control Los Angeles day, it has eliminated those who could bring in external influences into Pac Base..
As you know Sea org and very controlled and have little access to the outside world.
If they hear something negative even from family, they must immediately write it up to RTC, OSA and Ethics in a KNOWLEDGE REPORT. Then "External Influence" handling goes into play. (Part 2 of this video will tell you more)​

The insanity of the fearing the external influence . . .

What you are exposing here is the extent of the warped thinking that is spinning the cult in and shrinking it . . . this even while they are thinking they are applying their “tech” to protect and expand themselves.

It is quite demonstrably deluded, of course.

The more they fear what is “external” that is influencing them, the more they withdraw and cut off what they really should be depending on for their wanted, needed and desired power and expansion. And this apart from the damage they do to their relationship with those who are already within the system of their “fortress.”

It is a totally losing proposition they are operating on.

Not only does it offend and abuse those who believe in the Cof$ think and drive them away . . . it further “pollutes” the external domain with folks who will have a negative view of the cult who will spread their “influence” far and wide to increase that which the cult will continue to fear and attack and thus continue its downward spiral of contraction and withdrawal.

Outstanding peek into one of Scientology's most secretly guarded inner-chambers!

The "Hidden Influence" doctrine reveals that Scientology is, by default, in a major PTS condition (Paradoxically Troubling ShitStorm) because of two irreconcilably opposing "intentions" or "postulates":

I finally got around to finishing your video, and - I have a comment - one that relates to Daisy's post a bit.

When you said the purpose of the letting go of the NSO staff was to root out the external influences, it made me wonder: You have two sources of external influences A) the NSO staff and B) the public. Most staff I have known seldom move on the bridge, especially if they moon light. If they are not getting case gains from co-auditing etc. and are showing up on post and nattering amongst each other about the latest post on Tony or Mike, they are not motivated to deliver "standard" products, be on post regularly, and thus need lots of ethics handling on and on. So canning them cleans up the org.

Then there is the public - since they are there to get trained, processed, they have a vested interest in keeping their noses clean. Besides that, there are so few of them and the focus is on keeping them donoing and making token progress up the bridge, they are easier to control. The only ones they really care about are the whales - so having no out ethics staff to corrupt them - they must look at losing the LAorg staff a plus point.

So, it's an astute observation on your part!

At LA org - I know of two that are on staff that qualify as whales - I don't know if they survived the purge - Claire Taylor-OT8 ( who is part owner of Taylor Brothers sash and door) was something like the PES, and she and her husband have given wads of cash, and then you have Sheila Atkinson - Baker OT8 ( She and her husband own Atkinson - Baker court reporters firm) who was the Qual Sec I think. She and her husband are also big doners. Both couples are really nice people. Mimsey
