CoS and COB (DM) are being attacked like NEVER before because there is SOOOO much expansion. The church is always attacked when there is expansion. The pharmaceutical companies (which control our government) are behind the attacks. They want to get rid of COB because they are scared like NEVER before.

So there you have it. All the "disaffection" is caused by the big pharma and with investigation it will be proven that ALL of these disaffected (Marty Rathbun, Gene Isene, Rinder, etc) are either being paid by the pharmaceutical companies or in fact victims of being under the influence of pharmaceuticals.

Amazing that it has all been figured out so simply.

Of course the IAS just needs several more $millions to terminatedly handle this ASAP.

I personally know this to be true as Eli Lilly sponsored the Pot-0-potty for my 2009 SP Party.:omg:

Yet it seems to be the current shore story...

It's not new really. When I was in (1975 - '87) a similar idea was pushed repeatedly. There was the 12 british bankers who was behind a world spanning conspiracy and out do CoS in.. Erh, and whom Hubbard incidently failed to name.

Usually it was the evil psychs though.. But Big Pharma was always seen as a part of that.

Hmm... Maybe 'defectors' wasn't being accused specifically of being paid by 'BigPharma' specifically... But the 'war' was very much about 'deprogrammers' when I was in the GO. And deprogrammers would be psychs or funded by the psychs and using terrible psychoactive drugs provided by Big Pharma.

So by implication Big Pharma has always been black PR'ed by CoS's propaganda.

However.. It is interesting that 'some' scientologists do not believe in the PR shore stories.. I didn't! - And that made me doubt the hype about 'the tech' and the magnifiscent wins too, after a while.

As an example: The trials in US about Operation Snow White. The 'PR line' that the GO put out was that we'd been unjustly condemned for stealing some copy paper, for copying information that we had a right to, and that the evil govoornament refused to give us in defiance of FOIA.

Well, I was in the GO and knew that to be a very frivolous interpretation of what happened. But I 'justified' it and saw it as a 'bullet' in the PR war. It was propaganda intended to rally the people (scientologists) against common law and civilization actually...

Another whopper of a PR lie that was exposed at the time was Operation Freakout against Paulette Cooper. The GO Bureau One had framed her for bombthreaths against the church.

So.. The interesting question is: Did Scientologists believe that Paulette Cooper sent bomb threaths to the church?

They did I'm afraid! - I know scientologists who still believed she did AFTER the GO programmes was exposed in the Snow White trials. They thought that the documents was faked by the FBI! - That was the shore story that the GO put out.

Well maybe Big Pharma doesn't know the church is laying the attacks at its feet, maybe they should be in formed that the church claims they are doing this, it scratches on the surface of being libelous.

When I was in there were a couple of different "reasons" based on the Scn indoctrination that explained away why someone would defect or leave.

The most obvious was that they had committed overts and refused to give them up. That is always a good catch all for explaining why a person no longer wanted to be on the "Bridge" and certainly explained why someone would attack the Church. It's drilled into all Scios that the only reason a person leaves is due to overts and certainly the only reason why someone would attack Scn, LRH, or leadership is that they had BIG HIDDEN CRIMES.

Pfft!

The other reason given is that the person was actually a PLANT and had been Pdh'd by the evil psychs to join Scn and then like a character out of a Russian Spy novel, something would set them off and they would go into attack mode.

The Scn indoctrination is really stupid, evil and embarrassing.

Same here. Except, when I was still "in" and on lines, I just about tore my hair out when I heard scios spiel off stuff like that - These days though I have more understanding as to why they believe it, but I still shake my head.

I remember 1991 when they had Hill and Knowlton help form their DA packs and then plastered USA today with their Big Pharma attacks. It reinforced me to stay in then when I was just a newbie. I suspect they have a lot of newbie's who must be way out in left field when it comes to knowing our truths. Their exit door is still pretty close. Hmm ... I also remember their Course Completions stats crashed. Seems to me that the only way they semi successfully covered it, is with the BIG BIG lie that they're expanding. Create the lie and then whip the poor staff to try to make it a semi truth. Hmm ...
And the small orgs starting going insane with stat pushes ... Does this resonate anywhere with you folks ?

Hey do I belong to Big Pharma because I buy vitamins at a big box store and see an herbalist every once in a while ?:D

Does anyone have any close numbers on how many have been in less than a year ?
