D.C. Pirate Protest/Police catch Reinhard Koening

Ohai. The protest today was faaabulous. Even more so with the gay pride weekend happening and TONS of gays and lesbians lending their support. The org was quiet but hostile, you could feel the tension. We had our full sound system out for the first time in a while and daaaanced!

The police came to say hi and we told them about someone's bag that had been left on the side of the road and we didn't know whose it was. While we were talking to them, we noticed Reinhard Koening, the first assaulter/kicker in D.C who attacked the NYC Anon in April. We pointed him out and they caught him trying to flee. He lied to the police and was caught lying since we had previously turned over all our video. :3 They took his info and are sending it to the detectives to determine if they need to issue an arrest warrant.

The rest of the day was quiet if by quiet you mean a hell of a lot of fun with everyone dancing!

We did see Reinhard Koenig, who began to flee once he saw that he had been seen.

The police were already on scene because we noticed a suspicious package, so when Sparrow and I gave chase to RK, they gave chase to us. We eventually got him stopped about a block later, and the police pulled him aside.

As HK said, they did not arrest him, but they got all of his information and are going to turn it over to the detective in charge.

The detective will take it to the courts, and a judge will have to make a determination about whether or not to put out a warrant for Reinhard's arrest.

The charge, according to the police, would most likely be simple assault: maximum penalty of 180 days in jail and/or a fine of $1,000.

Early reports are coming in of a female protester ("Hubbard-Telescope" from WWP) who has been attacked by a scientolgist(s) outside the DC org.

This is the second recent assault at the Washington DC org. In April this year, visiting NYC protester "Ron Jeremy" was assaulted by scientologist Reinhard Koenig who, with the aid of the org, managed to evade police.

One of the things that I don't think was quite audible in either of the RK vids was the officer calling him out on wtf was he doing skulking around on the corner a block away.

To paraphrase the police officer, he said: if you want to go to your Church that's fine, go inside. But why are you hanging out over there when you know there is this unresolved incident. What were doing over there?

That's such a great question for the policeman to ask. My masks off to them. They are awesome.
