I strongly believe these malicious FAIR GAME type actions are precisely why a 2008 Gallup Poll found that Scientology was the most disliked and hated religion in the United States.

Rated below Atheism !

Even with Radical Muslim activities and suicide bombers MUSLIM ratings were way more popular than the CULT !~

Wouldn't it be interesting to ask Senior Scn Management why:

* If the organization's senior policy is "Always maintain friendly relations with the environment" why are they the most reviled religion in the world?

* If the PR tech works (tone level surveys, TR-L, always attacking never defending, acceptable truths, shore stories, fair gaming critics, dead-agenting, harassment, terrorism et al..) why doesn't it work?

* Why do events and promo pieces incessantly brag about planetary acceptance and love for Scientology, when the average man on the street hates it?

* Why does Ron's technology of communication and ARC result in the world being so
out of communication and out of ARC with Scientology?

My guess is that the first thing that they would answer is that those surveys were done with squirrelly wog tech. In other words, that people didn't really have the opinions they stated.

NEW SCIENTOLOGIST
Wog tech? What is wrong with asking people
a simple question and writing down their opinions.

SCIENTOLOGY EXEC
The questions may have been okay, but the
people being surveyed were not properly
r-factored before they took the survey.

NEW SCIENTOLOGIST
What r-factor?

SCIENTOLOGY EXEC
Just the standard r-factor: "I am not
surveying you. The answers you give to
the questionnaire will be carefully read. If they
do not accurately reflect the views of our
organization's leader, you will be attacked
and terrorized in your personal & professional life until
you come to your senses and relent and repent. Thereafter
you will sign a sworn affidavit while being videotaped
that you lied on your survey and that you are a
criminal. Also that you are a loyal Scientologist
who is winning and loves our leader."

NEW SCIENTOLOGIST
Wuttt? How can I be a loyal Scientologist
if I am also signing a declaration that I am
a criminal.

SCIENTOLOGY EXEC
Oh. You must be new around here.

This was tallied in 2008? Hell, that was 3 years ago, almost 4!

You may now insert "Criminals" and "Perverts" between Atheists and Scientologists.

OMG, Syn girl throwing it down hard, gangsta style! :hysterical:

Hey this could be an entirely new thread (and I promise not to de-rail this great thread) but, can you IMAGINE the answers that current Scientologists would give you if you asked them why Scientology was so hated that it is off the bottom of the scale?

Hey, wait a second, this thing actually looks like a tone scale from positive 40 (Serenity of Beingness) down to minus 40 (Total Failure). I mean look at it! LOL

METHODIST..........+45
SCIENTOLOGY........-45

Anyways, if I had to bet what the number one answer Scientologists would give as to why they are dead last, it would be (seriously):

Because Scientology handles the bank.
So, when people think of Scientology
their bank gets restimulated.

Hey, it doesn't have to make sense. It's Scientology!

Maybe you should start another thread on the top answers Scientologists would give as an explanation for this chart. I want to comment on this but don't want to derail thread.

Um, because Scientology is the ONLY subject and practice that can DETECT and HANDLE the CRIMES of Earth's REAL SPs?

Because the planetary SPs are SCARED SHITLESS of Scientology and they are working HARD and OVERTIME to destroy Mankind's ONLY CHANCE at ETERNITY?

Because the key planetary SPs control all major media and are coming after Scientology like never before?

(sarcasm, tongue-in-cheek)

(I couldn't resist, I imagined . . . ) :confused2:

Just for an interlude - a breather - let's travel back to the 1970s when Scientology was well liked and respected.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF99yYCE8wI

The above short video consists of clips from two '60 Minutes' programs. The first - longer - one concerns events, mainly from the early and mid 1970s. The latter - shorter - segment, concerning "C.A.N.," is from the mid 1990s.

Note to any lurking "wogs," in case any of this seems perplexing: Independent Scientologists typically believe that L. Ron Hubbard cancelled FAIR GAME in 1968, so any FAIR GAME actions were done by "SPs" behind his back, while he was researching the upper "OT" levels on the "Bridge to Total Freedom." That's why Hubbard is never mentioned. He "didn't know."

This is a great thread. Karen has gone to a great deal of work here.

Prosecuting the abuses and bringing them into the public eye is the most important thing we can do to shut the Cult's doors.

Thank you, Karen, for all your work getting dox and testimonies and everything else you do. You are amazing. Sometimes I forget you are an Indie and that many Indies like you have brought a great deal of dox, testimony and lawsuits to the table in this war against the Cult that we are in together. If I've offended you in the past, I hope you can handle my rough edges and know how much you and all of the others who help fight COS - whether Indie or ex - are appreciated for their efforts.

I also appreciate Karen's posts about the abuses of David Miscavige, and have thanked her many times for them.

What she is doing is a continuation of the exposure of Miscavige's abuses that has been on-going for the last 25+ years.

The difference is that, now, with the Independent Scientologists, L. Ron Hubbard and L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology are being defended, and promoted, by those who - very late in the game - have joined in to expose Miscavige's abuses.

If Karen wants to really shut the cult's doors, she should try to convince Marty Rathbun to tell what he knows about the shenanigans behind the 1993 IRS deal.

So far, there is no indication of that happening.

What is happening - along with a lot of good information from Karen, which is appreciated - is that Marty Rathbun, and like minded persons, are doing a self-assigned PR action for the old religion-angled, religion-cloaked, Hubbard cult (sans Miscavige), aided by the use of Hubbard's public-opinion-manipulation and propaganda tech, whereby they position themselves as "attackers of popularly considered evils" (Miscavige, etc.), which "declassifies" Independent Scientologists "from former [negative] labels."

If there is any lasting result, it will be that Hubbard's and Scientology's "good name" will have been partially restored (in some people's minds); Scientology will be viewed (by some) as a pretty good thing that was briefly under the influence of a bad person who was actually an "anti-Scientologist" (Miscavige); the assets, bank accounts, and corporations, etc., of the Hubbard cult will be intact, but Miscavige will be gone, having become the latest Scientology scapegoat, and the Hubbard cult will carry on.

Thanks for the briefing, Veda. I didn't know what was going on here at ESMB.

I believe all you say is true except the part bolded. The Indies' concept of pure Scientology is already extremely different (better) than the COS version and it keeps changing and improving itself. Some of the biggest differences:

1) M&M believe taking legal action against another Scn was allowed in Hubbard's original concept if the person was a crim, so Scns can certainly go outside their group to prosecute and would be encouraged to do so. HUGE difference.

2) They believe their groups should operate pretty much independently, like the groups of the 50s or 60s. Another HUGE difference.

3) Marty recently announced the entire GO was off policy and he'd talk about this more soon. That takes care of a lot.

4) None of them believe in breaking up families, or in child abuse.

The above 1-4 are just off the top of my head.

These are really important differences. It doesn't cover everything, but they are still evolving and have good intentions. They are out and together FIGHTING GENUINE HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES. This is just as much of a uniting factor for the Indies as the fact they were in COS.

Your facts are good but your conclusion is wrong because you aren't taking into account things like this to look at the whole picture.

There's more than one way to take down a cult and America is our hardest and biggest legal battle with COS. The legal maneuvers needed there to shut it down have to do not only with human rights abuses, but one section of a religious group attacking another. Because you are absolutely right - COS religious status has always protected it there - but it is also this status which will ultimately bring it down.

The whole world hates Scn right now except a minuscule few. We can't be losing ground by fighting within ourselves over what might happen, but deal with those who were damaged with patience and help them find a balance between beliefs and rights where nobody gets hurt and they can recover.

I'm very familiar with the "whole picture," and don't wish to argue with you, point by point, as it would be redundant with other discussions that have already occurred many times, and with information that has been presented many times - information which, apparently, you, perhaps due to your absence, are not aware.

However, I'll address briefly one point. If Marty Rathbun is saying that the "entire GO was off policy" then he's presenting an old worn-out PR line, one that's been used by CofS PRs since Hubbard threw his wife, Mary Sue, under the bus, after she was arrested for following his policy, his "Scientology Intelligence tech," his programs, and his orders.

IMO, it's foolish to think that Scientology will be reformed - in any meaningful way - by people who are either uninformed, in denial, or actively misrepresenting, Scientology's actual (overt/covert***) doctrine and its actual history.

Darius Wilhere born and bred in Scientology of Sea Org parents also was at the receiving end of Miscavige atrocities.

I recall taking Darius to Walt Disney World when he was 5 years old or so when I worked in the Sea Org in Clearwater. Having no children of my own at the time, and having an enchanting all day vacation with Darius, a little munchkin at the time, I postulated having a son !

His parents served on the Apollo and he rarely (as things got stricter had any family time). Greg Wilhere his father has been a DM enabler for some 28 years. GREG WILHERE is to the right of Miscavige right at his side.

s-SCIENTOLOGY-large300.jpg

Young Darius born and bred in the Sea Org knew no other world and no other game. He worked his 60 hour 80 hour 100 hour weeks for cents on the dollar and is featured in Marc Headley's book "Blown for Good."
Darius got on the wrong side of Miscavige and got himself declared a SUPPRESSIVE PERSON and thrown out of INT Base with $500 to start a new life.

Darius, knowing no other life, with no resume, no references of employment (Try getting a job saying you come from the CULT of Scientology !) Darius petitioned to be let back in the Sea Org.

His parents had disconnected from him. He had nothing in the world and was discarded like a piece of trash. He got back a response that he could join some Sea Org Org in Mexico which he was to "boom" in stats as amends. He spoke no Spanish.

Miscavige destroyed the Wilhere family. He discarded the mother to Los Angeles, Sandy Wilhere. He kept Greg as drooling donkey slave (Greg is especially good at fawning and sucking up to the "boss".) Both have never to this day spoken to their son Darius.

I asked Sandy a few years back how Darius was doing. It was an innocent mother-to-mother polite query. Sandy stiffened. "I don't know" she said. "I know nothing about Darius ~~ he is a declared SP."

I was stunned.

Sandy Wilhere, for those Aussies on this board is the adopted daughter of Phyll Stevens.

Darius arrives in Mexico on a bus to start work in a struggling Scientology Org. It is all he knows to do. Barely in Mexico a day or 2 when he is in a car and tragically smashed into in a head collision. It was street racing.

30971.jpg

The laws and rules of driving cars in Mexico is very different than the US.

Darius was killed. Dead and Flatlined. No pulse. No breathing.
Darius existed only in the Afterlife !

But lo and behold in one of those extremely freak incidents that Science and Medicine cannot account for, even though he was dead for 12 mins and brain damage is supposed to set in after 6 mins, Darius came back. His back and neck were broken along with some 100 other bones. He lay on his back for the next year in recovery. He sold off every last possession he had to try to pay for medical.

The fat rich loaded with money "Church" that he had worked for the previous 25 years in slave labor did not pay one penny towards his medical. He was a declared SP !

To this day his parents have cut him off obeying Miscavige's iron fist.

DariusWilhere.jpg

The only good news to report is that Darius has left the cult. A beautiful Mexican girl married him. He has made it through and I found him on Facebook with his little daughter.

Darius's name and story has come up here and there on the WEB and this made OSA and others re-think their enforcement of disconnection.

I hear back channels that Sandy has been in communication with him of late. She was given OK and permission to talk to her son Darius ! This is the kind of good product the INTERNET creates. It shames OSA into pulling up their socks and behaving with some decency~ in some cases overturning a declare in terror that the SP will befriend those on ESMB, OCMB, Marty's Blog or even WWP !

If it is true that Sandy, after years of deserting him after he was half dead and on his back in excruciating pain for one year with no mom or dad, ~~ well I am delighted, to hear Sandy might be talking to him again.

Here's a better image of GREG WILHERE, right in front left side.

Karen,

Thank you for posting all the news about Darius. How kind of you to follow up to see if he was okay after knowing him and taking him out to Disneyland that day, so many years ago.

I am glad to hear that Sandy is in touch with him now. It's a great sign that the abusive disconnection policy is being relaxed at COS because of all the continued pressure from us all.

I believe I heard that Sandy Wilhere is sick with MS or something. Anyone know?
