ESMB and The Freezone - let's have it out!

This is so very true Grundy, so very very true, 'fuck' for example is only a word, that is all it is, and it does indeed express in a way that no other words can. I was brought up in a country where 'fuck' is a general part of everyday language, and in quite a lot of cases, it's used as every second word. :omg:

When a high level of emotion such as anger or frustration is felt, it speaks and expresses the full emotion of the speaker, or in this case the writer, like no other word can. It is part of the English language, and of course everyone is entitled to think what they wish of it, peoples views on these types of words differ, in fact some may even think that it is indeed 'beneath' them to use such language, however one cannot pretend these types of words don't exist.

If someone wants to get all hoity toity and 'shocked' when they read such a word, then they are not living in the real world. It is a passionate word, and can be used in many situations, and I for one, have no problem with it. :no:

Indeed it is Boldgirl. Well I for one am not here to be 'nice' nor am I here to be 'not nice', I don't care what anyone thinks, it's not a popularity contest, and I agree that when someone is as you saying trying to 'poison' us all with 'scilon crap' then of course in qute a few cases this is going to bring up emotions.

We are no longer robots, we do not have to 'act' like someone we are not anymore, we are still in some cases trying to find out who we were before the cult, who we are now, where we are going and indeed who we my want to become in the future, so expression, in that process is extremely important

I believe this is all part of the healing process, and I for one am not here to 'good roads good weather' anyone, I am here to be me, to be more of me, and to find myself again, and if that takes upsetting a few people on the way, or indeed using some profanities on the odd occasion.. like pig fuck or fuck pig or whatever it was that got Roan into trouble, then so be it. :yes:

Thank you for that SP, Mr Twain was indeed an intelligent and very observant man. :yes: In fact the 'relief' he speaks about above can be felt on a very deep level, and any of those who don't like it, or prefer not to use it on occasion, I would highly recommend it as a part of the healing process. :thumbsup:

There IS a different between discussing what you do and believe, and trying to sell it. I know you guys know this and I think it has to stop. I didn't set up this board as an advertising venue for ANYTHING. It's primarily a discussion board and recovery board. It's also a place to hang out and relax. It's not a shopping mall.

I'm going to throw it back to those (you know who you are) who fit the category of "sellers" to make a change. I'm not going to outline what you should and shouldn't do, or where you should and shouldn't post, but instead I'm going to leave it up to you. You know how I feel now about it and now you know how others feel about it. I think how you react to this will tell the story of your integrity.

I'm not sure if I do know exactly how you feel, but you seem to
indicate I should make some change. From your post you referenced :-

This seems to indicate freezoners and independants are welcome here. That has always been the case.

I'm also a moderator and one of my concerns is the wishes of the board members. This is probably one of your concerns also.

Having read through this thread it seems there is a minority who object to freezoners being here. There is another minority who have felt the existence of the Freezone was helpful re decisions to leave the COS, some wishing to still follow tech others eventually deciding not to. Perhaps the largest group are those who are not interested in the Freezone, and/or
don't like the FZ but would prefer them to post as they wish regardless.
Even if its just to criticize them. Actually there is another minority who are freezoners of various sorts. There are also the independants.

So something about me. I don't sell Freezone tech. I do market and promote that the FZ is there, primarily by posting on the freezone success story thread which people of course are free to avoid. It has sometimes been brought up on other forums, not here that I recall, that I make money by
" selling" in the freezone. I don't make a cent. I also don't try and " recruit" people by PMs. I do though give information when people PM me.

I feel it is best for me to continue to post on the success stories thread.
With your permission. In fact there are a couple of fairly recent stories
by a girl whose parents called in an auditor, one of the new friends I made in
recent travel. He was called in because she was suicidal. She is now very happy. The COS wouldn't have dared try to do anything for her.

There has not been here, or anywhere on the net that I'm aware of an
example of abuse reported in the Freezone.

Some might not like me or my posts elsewhere. They're welcome to slap me around on the forum and they do.

I have changed my sig line which previously was over the top.

He however, cursed to himself, not to others. For those unfortunates he used his vast capablities as a writer. If you want to see real sarcasm from a master read his Autobiography, where he lets fly freely because he knew all would be dead by the time it was published. Twain could skin a man with a sentence.

Man!! - I think I read Mark Twain as a kid, and not since! - I really aught to read that stuff again. I suspect the rewards will be huge, seeing that I'm all grown up and capable of understanding.. hehe..

I'll look for the autobiograpy, sure!

His books have been frequently banned throughout history, too.

Especially the ones where he writes about his religious views.

And not an invective in them. A couple of poop jokes, maybe, but no invective.

There is more than one autobiography extant, edited from his voluminous papers, The one I've read has been edited by Charles Neider. I can't recommend others but they may serve as well.
