Megan was related to Leslie and Kevin. They were cousins. I saw Kevin about 18 years ago. We worked closely together when we were on staff, yet he had no idea who I was. I couldn't even jog his memory. Its not that he didn't want to talk about the Church, because we did. But he could not remember who I was. Very strange. Bill Shields was Megans cousin. He's the guy that put some rat poison on his cereal one morning thinking it was sugar. His vomit covered the entire third floor bathroom. Sheryl Liccardi, back at the org on mission was the acting D of T. She actullay held a mirror to show him he was still breathing and told him he couldn't go to the hospital. One of the sups told him yes, and had another student take him to the emergency room.

Regarding Nozeno's previous post-it must be said that he was a typical staff member-the whole bunch figured that 2d activity was really the most important "perk" that the church had to offer. It inspired teamwork-cooperation-a reward after a hard day "clearing the planet". So -as the CO at ole FCDC learned let the staff - have their fun- cause we ain't pay them shit.

We could always have our own party. But if ESMB have their party in DC, we could all visit the FCDC museum. It would help the poor museum staffers get their stats up. Of course, the next week after that they will all be EPF'ed for crashing their stats.

After reading the thread on sea org people who spent time in the rpf-I was wondering if any of you folks had to do any ehtics work-not sure what I mean as far as "work"--but you get the jist---
I'll go firston Cooper once told me that I needed ethics handling-this was after he got flag training-I had just got back from a week in the field and was already feeling depressed about being back in the org so I took myself back to the apartment and slept. He was such a pest he actually sent someone over to wake me up and bring me back into the org. God- I hated that-so I called Richards and told him to call off the dog---he did. That's pretty much my whole involvement with that shit. Oh- if you got any ethics actions-did you get any wins?

I can't imagine Dubin ever being serious about anything. Wisner, OTOH, was probably serious. I never got any heavy ethics from Franks, but I was called in on a couple (3?) "HCO BRING ORDER" calls to keep people from going into his office and kicking the living shit out of him. That was when the HCO office was moved from upstairs to next to his office.

At the time I was a true believer. And I am in no way a violent person. But I did give a lot of thought to going into the org with a baseball bat and kicking the shit out of him. The bat was not for him. He was really a wimp. The bat was for his bodyguards and goons, like Steve Steele and Rick Green and others, who would surely be in the way.. I actually liked Steve Steele, but his was Franks' goon.
So I thought about it. I thought I'd be declared, but thought it was worth it. I settled for telling one of Franks' goons to tell him that he may be protected inside the org, but if I catch him outside the org his ass is mine. I think it scared him. I lived a block away from the org but I never ever saw Franks leaving or entering the org.
For the record, I had already been kicked out of the org by Franks when I objected to students in the academy listening to LRH tapes at fast speed. It made LRH sound like Mickey Mouse. The I wrote a KR on it and mailed it through the US mail to Flag (I knew that Franks always had someone censoring reports that went to Flag via the mailpack.)
Knowing what I know now I will say this: Scientology ethics is what Franks was doing. The right thing to do at the time was to realize this and walk away from Scientology and warn others about it. But I was mistakened, and maybe even kidding myself that there was value in Scientology. I wanted to get the technology correctly applied. I realized many years later that that was exactly what Franks was doing.
Scientology ethics is not about the right thing to do. It is about getting what you want by manipulating others. That is the purpose of the tech. To get compliance. That is the purpose of Study Tech; to facilitate indocrination. You've got to hand it to Hubbard, he did develop a technology to make people his willing slaves. But thank God my inate enlightenment beliefs pulled me out of it.
