Oh oh oh such high-level art!

You should check out PDQ Bach, aka Peter Schickele. THAT is high level art making hilarious fun of classical music. Don't believe he is active any longer, but 30 plus years ago he was cranking out the funniest (sometimes "inside baseball") stuff ever. The more you know about music, the funnier it all is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkjR3cdXSS8 and many others like this...just a search will turn up crazy shit.

One fine day there when I was living in NYC, I found myself again in Carnegie Hall. And on this fine day PDQ Bach was part of the show.

This guy is/was wild. Amid the quite orderly settings of a musical stage--the music stands all set up nice and properly--enters PDQ. He gets on one of those pulley thingies on a line stretched from the stage to the front edge of the 2nd balcony and then proceeds to glide down the line (cable or rope) whereupon he bangs into several music stands sending them kerbumping around the stage.

Then the music got under way.

Reminds me of a "reg cycle" up Philly way--there was the prospect[either hot or cold-I didn't care] and she had a very small dress-tight as white on rice and she said she didn't have any "ruins" [again-not having ruins made it all so easy]--oh shit-rats- darn-so sorry-she asked me to keep this as a lifelong secret--and she was a hottie that made hell look inviting--but-hell isn't that the place all regges go like a spa to get invigorated.

Damn it, Unka Sammie. You never took me on one of your holy reg tours.

My heart is already going athump bedump athump bedump. Against your admonition, I snuck a peek.
