My comment was concerning today, right now, I wonder if Ream does not think of what he could have done with the money instead of burn it at the org.

I occasionally think the money they bilked me out of could have become quite an investment, BUT I do not dwell on it. Have done well in spite of that disgusting place.

Of course anyone may do with their own property whatever they would like, but a bit of wisdom never hurts. A kid that comes into money, or a pro athlete or other superstar, just as likely would blow it all and be destitute many years later. I speak as a nearly 60 year old fardt who sees the big picture.

I guess I am reading you wrong...have you or have you not grown up since 1970?

i don't know when or where you engaged dianetics. in dmsmh ron promised dianetics could turn idiots into morons. and if you walked into an org full of morons i can assure they would not have walked into the joint in the first place if they weren't idiots. peripetetic nerds indulging their natural proclivity for creative incompetence skewered by a smattering of policies ergonomically designed to induce a form of stupidity not found in nature frosted by a skillfully executed transcription of the passage from the zimmerman telegram reading "at midnight all the agents and the superhuman crew come out and round up everyone who knows more than they do"

hey. i've got plenty of my own venom for CoS. i got three sons i haven't seen for more than thirty years and the firstborn was dead four years before i was told of it. but he and i are both beings and i was desperately trying to breach the wall between us as he fought leukemia. it was the action by my erstwhile jackass brotheriinlaw greg wilhere who sealed the deal on the blockade. and never mind my own selfpitying pigwallow. planned parenthood in riverside took CoS to task for marching a string of young women through their abortion mill. you know. the people who offered free abortions when the bottom fell out of their production stats after 9-11 called americans to conscience and we came. this about like having joseph mengele complain about the way you treat the hippocratic oath.

gee og, i dunno. if dianetics didn't turn the trick for you have you tried a couple grams of liberty caps? they grow in golden gate park and i can introduce you to a native guide to help you pick them.

I can't speak for anyone else, but what I learned from my experience on staff and around Scientology is that I can kid myself into seeing what I want to see, hearing what I want to hear, interpret destructive actions as constructive actions, and at a deep level deceive myself.

"How many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesn't see?"

And when I learned this lesson I quit being a Scientologist.

It was a complete waste of my mind.

But, it WAS a "very valuable lesson"! :yes:

Me too. I am very glad that I saw up close and personal how nuts myself and others could get about a "belief system". My experiences with the Church of Scientology did a great job of inoculating me against the easy acceptance of BULLSHIT! :clap:

It also acted to immunize me against latching onto any sort of tyrant.
 
I used to have that "it was a valuable lesson" too. The lesson was learning what spirit IS NOT.

But eventually even that evolves.

I can now easily say that I learned nothing about spirit from scientology, learned nothing about life and the whole experience was unnecessary, irrelevant, immaterial, unimportant, valueless, of negative value only. I need make no reference at all to anything Hubbard.

And I can still smile at myself, and you, and them too.
