For the Rathbun "Believers"

Why do you keep insisting that Mike has spoken out? You keep ignoring my requests to show where he has done this.

Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder and the others are now on the critics side. Let not get this overcomplicated. Don't attack those on your side. It only serves the church for us to attack Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder which is the very reason some OSA operative thought up that crazy idea to begin with.

The focus needs to be on the church, it's staff members and DM, those are the ones that need correction in my opinion.

Nor would I attack you. We certainly have disagreements on the subject of scientology. I can live with that no problems, and I have witnessed you and partners incredible care with regard to your son. Awesome.

Well we met once IRL and occasionally cross paths on the net. Wish we were neighbours and we could be real good friends. :)

NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT....quite a little while ago I was oggling a photo of LRH in his kerchief and his cap, and to me he DID look reptilian. Like a GREAT WHITE reptilian! (the top of their heirarchy) :D It was like seeing a mocked up body on top of another mockup. But on a certain level maybe reptiles are neither good or bad...just cagey.

Here's a point on which I have a minor disagreement with your view. I can see some value in A "church". I personally never much liked the idea. I'm not "religiously" oriented myself. But organizationally, given the realities of government policy with regard to the recognition of spiritual communities historically, it has some merit. THE Co$ is of course a different matter. As constituted it appears it may well have been intended to be the personal shelter for LRH that it became.

However, the SO is a different matter. Here I agree with you. It is and always has been WHOLLY nothing but a stupid group dramatization and vanity play thing for Hubbard.

As to MR, I'm still in "wait & see" mode. Although I am encouraged by the broad interest being generated both by him and also Geir Isene with regard to ending Co$ abuses on their respective blogs.

My worry is that the dramatization is like a snake swallowing its tail. In the end lies the beginning and in the beginning lies the end.

Marty still believes in the tech and wants to deliver it for whatever you deem its worth to you. It will be delivered by others who also belong to the 'cult' (culture) of homo sapiens. That cult by tradition supposedly has a set of bylaws which unconsciously affects its adherents to further the goals of that cult. If one were a gold fish with the goal to swim free one would not seek aid from an individual with a goal to make the most splendid, ethical, uniquely carved ....fishbowls. LRH struggled with this. If one is not very clear himself he will sabotage his preclear even if its by dropping a pencil at the wrong time in session or missing reads accidentally on purpose to keep his pc from discovering his own withholds. THIS was behind the Class VIII course rants. It was why Flag sent one to cramming, cramming etc. Can we be well trusted on our own to sabotage the downhill draw of this planet where our bread has been buttered so far? Can we create the awe inspiring FREE BEING on our own without the supervision. Can our results be stellar without falling into a GAT fanaticism? Or will we end up coming full circle like the ouroboros ? (I'm being the devil's advocate here.)

Mick knows that FZers and other non CofS Scn'ists get attacked. I know he's seen the threads because he's rebutted a few posts like that. Mick doesn't attack non CofS Scn'ists- he just states his disagreements- but that doesn't mean that he doesn't recognize the phenomenon.
