Forgiveness of Freeloader debt

Having paid a whopping freeloader debt, I am sometimes dismayed at hearing that people are now getting freeloader debts cancelled. Not dismayed at their good luck, but at my bad timing.

But I heard something interesting the other day that made me feel better. It was stated that people who get their freeloader debt cancelled can only do so by agreeing to "co-operate" that is, become OSA spies. It's not always the debt that makes them agree. Sometimes it's the promise of being able to communicate with loved ones again, and the whole thing was said with complete understanding of the strain such people are under, no censure, just "there's the facts, ma'am."

I can understand this too. Someday we will all be free of this and I forgive anyone in advance who is forced into this trap.

But meanwhile, I will think twice before trusting anyone who's had their freeloader debt "magically" cancelled.

This would explain why my sister wanted to have me talk to Hanusli from RTC but I refused and my whole debt wasn't brought up again. But my sister told me they passed a new policy that stated something to the affect that if you served 10 years as a Sea Org member during I think 1989 to 1999 then your debt is reduced or elimated.
But in my case, I was in the Sea Org for years before the EPF and then did the EPF and spent more years in so it is confusing what to charge me for and how many years were really considered.
I don't give a rat's ass about my debt and sorry you paid them another red cent but I feel my childhood was payment enough.

This may be the case but I personally know people that had the debt wiped and didn't have to agree with any OSA BS.:confused2:

Having your freeloader cancelled is easy, I cancelled mine myself! There's no way on gods green earth I'm paying them a bean.

Just don't pay it, if you have already...shame. You could try and get it back.

No need to pay them anything. No court would force someone to pay this fictitious debt.

Maybe you can get it back in a court of law. Has anyone ever tried? Since the "debt" is (apparently) legally unenforceable, wouldn't it be fraud for the CofS to demand payment of it?

My thoughts of this freeloader debt: If they want to play the game of demanding repayment for free services given, hit them right back for back wages at whatever you feel you are worth. Personally I feel I am worth $75 an hour. So, subtract the 34 cents an hour they paid me on staff, and I would demand my $74.66 per hour. In the case of many here on ESMB, I would bet the Co$ would come out on the losing end. They should not protest too much :)

Yes Mockingbird I would indeed watch out for those "cancelled" freeloader bills. There are ex-SO on facebook working for OSA after their debts were reduced or cancelled. One of them is well known, Brittany Garrett. She is one who loves to "warn" others about who they are connected to on facebook. She "negotiated" her debt down to almost nothing.

I paid $2000.00 towards my $6000.00 and I WANT IT BACK! My husband's was almost $40,000.00! (and he paid nothing towards his, we were trying to get mine paid off since it was so low).

But yep, we cancelled ours oursevles, too! :wink2:

It makes you connected!

AS long as you have the consideration that you owe them a RED cent, you will remain connected to that Group.

Best said by all before- DISCONNECT you don't owe them anything and as Winnie put it; they should pay you what you are worth.

Anyone who has slaved for the Sea Org has more than earned whatever they
got in benefits, period.
It is the same as leaving a company where you received training. One doesn't owe the company for that before taking another job.

As far as exchange, often there is so much brainwashing which can cause fixed ideas into the future, the S.O. should really pay severance pay of $10,000 as a minimum. More like $10K for every year served would be a real minimum.

I wonder what priests and nuns are paid, certainly exceeds the S.O.
I just Googled it and found for some Order that Nuns get $29-37K+ benefits, and Priests $37-62K+ benefits.

At 84 hours weekly and $30K annually, that is less than $7. per hour for an S.O. member. Seems like an extreme minimum to me.

Fuck any "Freeloader" debt. These folks are certainly not freeloading.
