I just figured it out.

To get the 57 perceptics out of a person, they are going to turn them upside down and keep smacking them on the bottom.

The Anabaptist Jacques

Either that or all the cash they have on them. The cash is preferable - saves the cost of a cert.

I sent Matt an email with a link to the OP, asking if he wrote the email or not.

There's a 2.5% chance I will get a response, lol

Well..... I am familiar with Matt Hanses and his parents. I believe he did write this.

The orgs probably have totally unreal quotas set for their own event attendance, book and meter sales, course and auditing sign ups. I'm assuming their events are going to be within a week of the Flag event.

His email sounds desperate to me....looking desperately for an answer, for stats to go up, for pay to go up, for the answer as to why more people are not in the org, on course, in session. He's ED FDN now (was HES). It sounds like he desperately wants the tech to work and change the world like he's been told it would his whole, entire life. To make himself right and his parents right for giving their lives to this.

It sounds very sad to me.
That was my thought. It is such desperate denial that it masks something very bad.

My actual first thought was it reminded me of the Scientologist who wrote a note about how amazing Scientology was then shot herself on the ship with Ron. Can't remember the name.

Why should I run around finding links to every screenshot BlackRob posted of Scientologists commenting on the event? It's not my responsibility if somebody hasn't been following a particular topic, any more than it's your responsibility if I don't know what's going on in the climate change thread. It doesn't mean I can't post a comment without having to provide a link. If you think that people should do that every time, good luck with that.
You crazy kids....PoP

Upon re-reading it, if that letter was sincerely written as opposed to being written as a sales pitch, then I too am fearful for the welfare of the writer.

I hear ya.. the saddest thing for me is that if true, that this guy has been feeling all along that he was the problem for not 'getting it', for not making the wins.... as a staff member for so many years... He must have felt like a failure day to day to have this kind of reaction

The writer is in total doubt, fear, hopeless about his future and uncertainty about scientology working ever. He can't get any relief in Scientology - so he comes to this event and "it" fills the void...so he hangs his hope on this and is "good" for another few months..until the "BUZZ" wears off and reality hits him in his head....and of course, their ain't no more hope cuz there is NOTHING left to $ell.

Take a look at this message from the writer - you can see his "true tone level"..:omg::omg::omg::nervous::nervous::nervous:

You nailed it AnonyMary!! This guy has lost hope and feels like a total failure...wasting his life in this cult - not getting anything done...constant invalidation and nullification from COB - no one coming in...day after day after day - nothing changing - nothing working...and he "keys" out in Florida and hangs his hope on COB's Golden Age of Scam GATII - Poor sap!:bigcry:

He's afraid of going into lowers. His reptilian hind brain did a quick count of attendees and figured that some shit was going to roll downhill over this. Maybe his conscious mind admitted this, maybe it didn't, but the reptilian brain is a survivalist. The post is just him running away fast, figuring, like the two hikers and the bear, he doesn't have to outrun the rolling shit, he only has to run faster than the other guy.

It was the same in Stalinist Russia.

Scientologist's never suspect that COB would lie ~ ever! So if they were told 10,000 people showed up - they would never doubt it - it would be an overt act to be suspicious and look...they are conditioned to think this way and they are unable to evaluate "data" for themselves....they wait until COB tells them what to think....THEY WILL NOT LOOK!! Look how this guy had lost all hope until...until COB restored his hope with his North Korea style hype...and the guy takes the bait...hook, line and sinker.

The sad thing about Scientologist's is they get addicted to the "next release" .. the "next new why Scientology did not work but is now..." and they waste their lives in this circular trap that leads nowhere. Scientology "ideal scene" will never happen....it is an impossibility...but they hang on to that HOPE which of course, is a made - up religion by a con man that was a nut.

Scientology - the bridge to nowhere... wasted lives!

Absolutely!

Scientologists are addicted to hoping that "the next new thing" will be the final solution.

Over decades they've become easier and easier marks.
