I think I've found a way to "explain" the "Confront and Shatter Marty at LAX" using $ciloon Standard Tehc.

It goes like this:

Drunken Maggot has done an "eval" of the "Why" for His stats going up but the rest of the cult failing.

It's because His programs aren't being done, specifically the one to do with removing the Rathbun threat.

Now Rathbun was identified as the "Who" several years ago - Feral and I were told that OSA (who of course get their Divine Inspiration from Slappy Hisself) believed that the problems in ANZO at the time were all due to Rathbun and Rinder "running" the locals. DM cannot conceive of ANYTHING running without an Org Board as that IS the Standard Tehc of organizations everywhere. So there has to be a "head of the Org Board."

The "why" is probably "Rathbun wants to take over" the cult that lays the Golden Eggs. It's easy to "explain" Rathbun's current "PR lines" about Hubbard being a miserable mess and His creation being even worse. Rathbun's simply running the CDEINR Scale on "everyone" to get them to give up on Hubbarddreck so that Rathbun can take over the shell and resurrect it, once DM and the Loyal Officers are out of the way.

Now this "line" was run by Dexter, Zinj and whole lot of others during the Zinj Wars and there was all sorts of "collaborating data" for this that I could never get my head around. I now believe that DM actually believes Rathbun WAS trying to take over ESMB as a stepping stone to taking over the cult. And OSA of course was trying to use this "real situation" to "expose Rathbun" as the "truth" of course }"as-ises everything." And that should've ended Rathbun's power push right there.

But Emma, Feral and others didn't all go "aha!" and drop Rathbun. So Emma had to be taken out - so we had the despicable act of having her arrested for totally spurious charges. She didn't "cave in" but came back with a vengeance (just when she was trying to retire from the board) and that means of course that DM would've had to do more eval as His minions obviously didn't handle it ("as usual.")

Now there's been all sorts of "flaps" recently and I'm sure the Demented Midget believes Rathbun is behind it all. The raid on SH/IAS event had Ax and others who have met/are sympathetic to Rathbun and so must be taking orders from Marty. And I'm sure the Three Stooges had to M9, clay demo their MOs before their "confront and shatter" mission. And I'm sure they'll retrain their "PTS/SP Tehc" from the bottom up once they've finished their FPRD programs personally programmed by Deputy Malignant Hisself.

EVERYTHING that's happened to the cult in the last several years will have been traced back to Rathbun, and of course DM "knows" this as His brain farts told Him. And keep telling Him. And every thought that He has is Divine as He is "totally upstat" and so can "get away with anything" as long as He keeps His stats going up. So who cares what Wog Lawyers (and Wog Law) says He can or can't do? He knows that if He gets Rathbun taken out of the picture (for Marty's obvious major crimes against humanity) everything will revert to "normal."

DM is Standard Tehc personified - He knows, as He's the one doing all the work to Keep $cientology Working. His Golden Ages have been sabotaged from within and without by the SPs and DBs but they're just yapping cur dogs.

Things have changed.

Three or four years ago, Marty's views were different. Then, he opposed the Inquiry in Australia, accusing Senator Xenophon of "falsehood" and "hate." Then, Marty was an "Independent Scientologist" and was allied with others who, amongst other things, were working to un-"besmirch the good name of L. Ron Hubbard," and handle the "ARC broken" field. Those efforts disintegrated as the change - which happens to most people who've left Scientology Inc. - gradually came about.

The recent video obviously has considerable entertainment value, but what matters most are its ramifications re. the Rathbun legal case.

IMO, Miscavige is headed for a mental breakdown, not unlike his mentor, L. Ron.

This is the part that makes absolutely no sense.

It is not possible, much less "easy," to explain how Marty could say the things he has recently not about DM, and not only just about LRH, but also the Tech, and then be able to "take over" the Church of Scientology. DM is neither that stupid nor that deluded.

The whole "Marty is planning to take over the COS" thing is dead, and everyone knows it. Or should.

I'm not as up on recent history as you are, but I know that it has ALWAYS been in Scientology the idea that all issues and "suppression" can be traced back to a single source. Fifteen years ago it was Bob Minton. When Anonymous was all over the church, there was always an idea that there was "a leader of Anonymous" (not sure who they thought that was) who was causing all of it. Now there's Marty.

This "one entity is causing everything" of course started with LRH, one example being the RJ 67 piece about the committee of 12 men who run everything.

Scientology"rollback" tech is designed to assign the blame for everything to one source.

I guess it's more confrontable to think you only have to knock one kingpin down and everything else will collapse as a result rather than confront the fact that you have thousands, if not tens of thousands, of people who are all against you for their own independent reasons.

Thanks, I first encountered the "old man of the mountain" from a book about the Assasins cult written by a Satanist.. I don't have it handy to cite though... If you liked that post you might like THIS one I just posted into another thread.

They at least used to have a page or two with some figure heads listed with the cult as contacts or people in executive positions - but even that has gone poof! If you had to go on their website alone you could only deduce that the entire organization is run top to bottom by DM - because he is the only leader that is allowed to be named.

It only proves what we've all known for many years - DM is the only real power in Scientology. Everyone else is mere pawn on his chessboard that he discards or throws into the hole as he sees fit. No one breaths or makes any decision of any consequence without his express approval or direction.

Gotta make you wonder how small the cult truly has become that he can be the sole source of direction and leadership. At least in the 1980's and 90's the organization was far too large and complex for him to micro-manage to the extent he does today.
