A New Era Of Management

We postulate a new era of management with Scientology organizations overseen administratively by a reconstituted Watchdog Committee and corporately by LRH’s intended cross-checks and balances through seven (truly) independent boards of trustees and directors.

We further postulate:

●A general amnesty.
●Cancellation – FOREVER – of disconnection, sec checking, and fair game (by any name) policies and practices.
●Acceptance of those people who want to return and take part in reforming the Church; let everyone contribute who wants to.
●A special project to clean up the field.
●Families brought back together.
●Care for aging and ailing Sea Org members who have been neglected.
●Management based on LRH-recommended values set forth in The Virtues, which are listed at the end of The Way to Happiness booklet.

Note: These golden standards are the polar opposite of the publicly-despised policies of disconnection, sec checking, and fair game.

Implementation of LRH’s intended management and corporate structure, along with a new era of management style postulated above, we believe, will help restore to Scientology a group of incredible camaraderie, working together to achieve the aims of Scientology:
A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights

Post Script: How can we create a civilization without war if we cannot create an organization without war?

Cash in on the suckers who are sick of dealing with Hubbard's Fake Navy but still feel the need to have their wallets cleaned out.

I love this so-called aim.

This is what the average person would ask for.

Instead Scientology actually offers:

"A civlization where lunacy is the norm, where criminals do whatever they like in the name of KSW, where war with every non-Scientologist is mandatory, where the able and honest are sent to the RPF because they don't wish to cheat and where everyone is kept under the thumb of the CoB."

An insane society can only be the E.P. of Scientology winning.

Yeah because belonging to a fake navy and wearing fake navy costumes to fight an imaginary war with an imaginary enemy is such a sane thing to do

How about a goal of making up (as much as possible) for all the damage caused to thousands of individuals and families over the years?

I don't see that listed as one of the "purported goals".

Or is that not part of the plan?

Amnesty? Postulate? Watchdog Committee? Clean up the field? There are some pretty evil assumptions sitting below all of this language. Such as: there are crimes that require forgiveness before re-entry can be allowed; there are those who need to be watched by something with teeth; the "field" is dirty. I don't like any of those assumptions.

Hmmm, it doesn't sound too different to what's happening now. However shiny their intentions are, pretty soon they will run into the impossible contradictions between those and the "LRH-intended" structures, policies, methods, processes etc. and then what will happen?

Rhetorical question only, for those impelled to reply.

Reform? You gotta be kidding me. :duh:

Just SHUT IT DOWN!

Hubbard's exact written and spoken directions make "reform" impossible.

. . . and yet Scientology is insane, criminal and something of an emotional/spiritual battlefield itself. Just LOOK.

The wider, OP statement is a move in the right direction but seems oblivious to the fact that the last thing a person escaping Scientology needs is yet more Scientology. As I read through it, I found myself stumbling over some of the words and comparing the wog meaning with the Scientology meaning. I wonder, for those of you more literate in Scilonspeak, is there a subtext there?

Fascinating. Are they seeking "an organization without war", or an organization without dissent?

Also, which reform movement? The fragmentation we see within the Cheapzone is a natural consequence of CofS falling apart... but the scrabble for hearts and minds (or perhaps the heartless and mindless) is going to get ugly.

Just checking: they do know that Midget Miscavige is going to keep all the money, don't they?

A civilization without insanity and without criminality would mean a civilization without L.Ron Hubbard and without David Miscavige. Who's going to preside over it, Miss Frances of Ding Dong school?

Disconnection, Fair Game, and Security Checking were never actually cancelled. Disconnection just became more low key (covert), Fair Game continued but the use of the name Fair Game was prohibited, Security Checking continued but the name was changed to Integrity Processing. In January 1977, Hubbard brought back the name Security Checking and emphasized its importance. "Always attack" has been part of Scientology doctrine since at least 1955. Disconnection and Fair Game (in different words) have been part of Scientology doctrine since 1951. And, of course, Security Checking began around 1960, or 1961.

As For the 'Virtues', and 'The Way to Happiness' booklet, these appear to have been lifted from another author, and re-written by Hubbard, as he hid out from subpoena servers and the police. They were used as PR cover after the reputation-damaging release of Hubbard's spying and covert attack tech by court order in 1979. Incidentally, it's explained in 'The Way to Happiness' that 'The Way to Happiness' "is not part of any religious doctrine." That means it's not part of "the Scientology religion," and it's not part of Scientology "Ethics." Rather, it's a PR display item meant to mollify "wogs" during a (yet another) "PR flap." Scientology "Ethics" trumps the PR display 'Way to Happiness'.

This "reform" of Scientology is not "On-Source" at all, and, if the persons proposing it were honest with themselves, they'd have to call it something other than Scientology, because, whatever it is, it's not Scientology anymore.

That sad part of this is, the persons proposing these changes want it to BE Scientology so very much, and so very much want RON for their leader, that they are almost childlike, OR they are just attempting to con others, yet again.
